Lol hitting certain notes doesn't determine voice type. Multiple people can have the exact same range but one could easily be a contralto vs mezzo or tenor vs baritone. Please do not confuse vocal range with voice type, range only shows how many notes you can produce.

hitting certain notes determine your voice type... you'll never be able to hit the money note which is high F if you're an alto... only mezzos and Sopranos can hit that
@@Little_Duck_yeah you’re voicetype is mainly determined by the range if notes you’re most comfortable singing and most resonant when you have good singing technique, not the most extreme pitches as most people can produce pitches both higher and lower than their designated “voicetype,” and also most untrained singers have trouble with the higher notes in the range even if theyre the right voice for it. So after good training and technique and practice it’s the range of pitches your voice is most resonant and dynamically free. Then absolute range can very greatly from person to person, but we can give general guidelines for how most voices can be.
I’ve been called baritone many times because I have strong low notes and a deeper voice for a tenor but while working with my teacher discovered I’m actually more of a tenor. In the classical singing sense Perhaps more of a dramatic or spinto Tenor and can also sing the low notes of a lyric baritone well and can still be very powerful in my lower range.
I can hit the high note fine whiteout feeling any uncomfortableness, it’s just that my voice isn’t stable.
That's a great start! You just have to study a little bit like we all did and you'll be great! Believe in yourself, only singers can be stable❤

i’m not even a singer, just a guitar player who sings sometimes, but i’m most likely mezzo-soprano cuz i can sing it all
Sopranos are comfortable singing a low A, so it really comes down to tone, and how much stamina your voice has in different parts of your range, and the overall sound of your voice etc… how comfortable is the low A, is it rich and full or getting close to the bottom of your range? But yes maybe u are

After years of being in choir in middle school and high school, I can confidently say that I'm a Mezzo Soprano. And I have alternated between Alto, 2nd Soprano, and 1st Soprano in the choirs, but my voice sounds more natural in a middle range.
I don't think I have the richness of an alto, although I've sung that part for awhile.

what are the notes? I was able to hit every single one and I think I may be around this range, although I noticed I got to two notes lower (at my lowest) I know it’s mezzo but I would like to know the notes :)
I think it only went to a low A. If those notes feel like theyre at the bottomf of your range but you’re good at the top, you may actually be a soprano. This is the range classically trained mezzo sopranos are comfortably singing in an opera style. Sopranos can be comfortable in this same range but the difference is a mezzo soprano will usually be fuller and richer on the lower note and often can extend to at least a low E at the very bottom, but a soprano will be more comfortable singing in the higher part of this range. With proper training its plausible for both to go even higher. If a or g feels more like the bottom of your range and you’re comfy at those high notes you’re almost definitely a soprano tho.

listen to singers belting high F in upper chest voice... if you can do that, you are defo not an alto, you could be mezzo soprano or any type of Sopranos for that matter

I'm a mezzo soprano that spent years singing alto. The lower notes of the alto range come to me very naturally, and I was able to support the notes and project louder than most of peers (and sing softer when dynamics called for it). I like harmonizing as well as singing lower melodies. But, when I saw the alto version of this tiktok, in order to comfortably sing the higher notes in the alto range, I had to sing along to this mezzo soprano video and then go back to the alto tiktok. Then sang through both videos with no problem. I need more work bridging that gap where my register wants to change. My parents "supported" my choral singing when I was growing up but they seldom wanted to overhear me practicing at home, so I still need to learn to support notes in that middle and higher parts of my range. The fact that I joined advanced choirs and attended state competitions and I still feel uncomfortable singing too loudly is so sad to me. As an adult, I'm still re-teaching myself that I don't have to use my "inside voice" 24/7.

Everyone says I'm a mezzosoprano and I have a hard time accepting this fact, since soprano voices are more praised, thus prettier.
I'm a teen and I've always had the talent advantage towards people my age, but I feel like if one day I go to a big opera, I won't be chosen for leads because of my range...

Mezzo roles are much more exciting than sopranos. Soprano roles are mostly boring and annoying

I was in the same situation, but then I figured out that mezzo-soprano's roles are soooo much better than the sopranos... Just search something on youtube and fall in love with your beautiful vocal range and repertoire❤

That last two notes are hard for me and crackly but I can do it just alto is smooth comfy and mezzo soprano is a lil rough. I’m a male so a lil difficult but for me my voice is high so low notes are actually very hard

I think I am firstly an ALTO and also a MEZZO.
But when I was younger I was only a MEZZO, because I couldn't hit that low notes.

I think you’re still a mezzo soprano. I’m a mezzo soprano too, but my range goes from about F3-C6. It’s definitely possible to be an A3-G5 mezzo soprano.
i think i might be mezzo-soprano since i have deep voice im more into contralto i can be alto, contralto and mezzo-soprano (all 3 of that depends on which songs i sing) but dmn im surprised i hope my neighbour don't hate me for singing the notes😭😭
I stopped at the one right before the last 4 notes on the high scale and i can hit all the low notes. I have no idea what i am
There is a chance you can still practice to get those notes with time, just forcing until you’re able to get there

The increasing anxiety and ugliness of the notes when the pitch went up has me thinking "nope, still definitely a contralto" 😂
I can hit way lower than that and also hit the highest notes pretty easy. Am I an alto or a mezzo? Sometimes people confuse me with soprano but I know I am not one.
