UPDATE: You do NOT need to take apart the door panel after you take it off. You can disconnect the switch and then pop it out from the complete door panel. Will save a lot of time and fuss. I just did this on my 2012 Santa Fe.... Good luck
Will be replacing the speakers arm rest and switch assembly for a nice little upgrade on my 2009, I have the tan interior but I am putting in the black armrest with the silver switches,
This is my same problem. I am STILL trying to pop the door panel off...as I type...lol. I'm just scared that I'll break something. But eff it!!! Lol, if I dont fix it, I cant bring my window back up!!! Wish me well!!

@@bigbo8495 if the window goes up and down at the driver's door but not at the back door does that mean the switch is stuffed or something else like bad wiring somewhere?

You could just use a pick with a screwdriver handle to get the plastic caps off the screws... that or a set of technicians precision screwdrivers.

The switch had physical damage- it came apart in my hand! Yours may have dirty contacts.
