If you visit a family, bring your food or bring gifts or leave money, these are poor people, not just making videos to do anything else, like many others I see
No worries mate, I did find a good arrangement with the family! All of us enjoyed spending time together and in fact, I'm still in touch with them today since we became good friends🙏
Your a dick it’s a title the kid is trying to build something and it is living somewhere, he was there living with these people for a week. I thought it was pretty good it’s a learning experience and maybe he might be as great as Werner Herzog Viel Glück, Mich
Thank you I went to Peru to the rainforest ❤ the animals plants and people and stayed 3 weeks with an shipibo familie and did ceremonies with the master plant and dieta.they where so sweet and took good care of me. And there where a lot of mosquitos too.and I was not allowed to take repellente because I worked with the master plants .
So interesting seeing this place from your point of view. Seems completely different than my documentary there 😂 Everything was flooded in the rainy season! Insane. Nicely done 🎉
Loved the video ! I'm Brazilian leaving in the U.S. for a long time. See the life the people have, even so with all difficulties, I get very jealous of that simple life, special me leaving the so call civilized world. Thank you
Wow, what a wonderful way to see people living in the floating house It is just amazing, especially seeing children having a normal life there. Thanks for sharing this incredible place. 🙏❣️
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it so much! And yeah, it was so cool to see how active and interested the kids were. Everyone helped each other and treated each other respectfully🙏
Hi Michy ! Thank you for sharing this very original, intereseting and adventurous travel video of the "wild life" of an indigenous Brazilian family on the black river ! A courageous and daring adventure you documented in an authentic, serious and respectful way ( especially not judging some of the interesting particularities of their culture and way's of life ) by living with this family! Bravo ! The narration was flowing nicely with the beautiful images and the editing of all the footage was great ( a lot of work of couse ), The only thing I missed was some more "background info." and more authentic Brazilian music or sounds rather than our "western" modern music tracks that came from "no where" ( ex. scene with chicken ) and that "stole away" some of the "wild life" you were portraying so well, if you see what I mean ? ; )
Wow, what a feedback hey! Firstly I'm happy to hear you enjoyed watching, that means a lot to me! I see your points and obviously I'm trying to get better with every project I take on - Just now working on 2 new mini docs like this one. Step by step💪😊
Hey Michy, I'm glad you liked my feedback... I always tend to write a lot as there is a lot to say about your films and the topic :- ) Some of the best documentary's are from the BBC of course and NDR for ex. Happy to read your working on 2 new mini-docs now... good luck, I know it's a lot of work, shooting and especially editing ! I'm curious, did you have photography or media training before doing "client" stuff ? I'm also working on my first mini documentary with my Sony A73 & my mini-2 & GoPro8 ( about an amputated "young" man ). I've done several water sports souvenir "clips" but never dared uploading anything yet. ( bin auch aus München! Wohne aber in der CH ). LG. Mike
Also good luck for your projects!! I know that it’s always a hustle but we keep on pushing! I feel I’m like many creators out there, just made my hobby to my profession with taking a leap… No media training whatsoever, just started doing it :)
I lived in the rice fields with Vietnamese some where Vietcong who fought in Vietnam war I was doing a school project for NYU university I stayed for 6 months we basically ate rice everyday rats , bullfrogs, snakes , insect I didn't eat dog meat which is served for dinner every day.
Great video, in fact, I can even say that I watched a great documentary with nice people who look at you every time with a smile on their face. Thank you for taking us to that wonderful place.
U guys stayed their for free, poor family , at least hv some courtesy to give back to them n kids money and stuffs....while u r making money out of video of these families!
Okay, that's awesome. I have tried, but have not yet got the attention of youtube. Maybe I haven't met the requirements yet. But you are doing great. It surely helped me.@@MichyHerzog
The only thing i would say is that you came to stay with people who are struggling day to day to feed there family. And u came there eaten there food like it was all nothing its nothing for use bet for them its big so i hope u donated some money at least Other the. That good vid
Firstly - as you might know, it it a massive "flowing" river and not a small little pond... And secondly - there is no alternative water source anyway, therefor no other choice :-)
Ola! Sounds like you are a german from the city.I hope this trip helps you appreciate the brazilian people, the natives that don't owe any to germans. That you grow up as a man and see what other germans do to brazilians in the west of Brazil. Where citis were founded by rich germans to " favor" Germany.See cities names.Brazilians gave chelter to germans after WWar.But they exploit Brazil.Like it or not, this is the german race.Abr.
@@MichyHerzog...always that one hater🙄 I like the docu. I've been to Suriname. Connected to Northern Brazil. Same environment for 5 weeks. Stress free, just an amazing life💫❤
I hope they get rid of the clothes when the camera isn t there because wet tissu on skin sucks and makes people like suffering from vitiligo instead of having a nice allover tan.
So happy to read your comment hey! Thank you! Btw. - Cape Town is high on the bucket list - What would you like to see captured in/around your city from a foreigners perspective? Big hug

No need to, they're calm and not too big anyways🐈

Sometimes judging someone regardless of cultural differences is ok. This is a case of that.
