@@loub747 I am going down to Costa Rica, and part of my duties there will be relocation of venomous species around residences. Arent as much rattlesnakes up here as south but learning how vipers react to stimulus and understanding how to keep them as calm as possible is my goal.

Thanks! I try and keep it real, without the hype. Tough to get any views that way it seems. Yeah, the potential of finding something is what keeps us going back! Good times out there await....
I Like Both aviation and snakes!!
You know I lived in Japan for 1972 went around in the countryside around Nara and stuff and I had absolutely no idea that Japan had poisonous snakes I knew that some of the Southeast Asian countries did like when they would be planting rice in the rice fields but I didn't know that Japan did so I learned something new tonight Lou thank you that was an adorable little snake with an attitude but cute nonetheless..
I understand that in Japan they actually have mamushi ice cream. Garlic, too. And seaweed, wasabi, soy sauce, and squid ink.
I'll have to look for that ice cream! Maybe make a video about it.
Great stuff again.
Thanks
Hello to you & Family
Hello
such a beautiful place and cool pit viper
Yeah, love both
Your an Awesome man
Trying to share my passion. Thanks!
Saludos desde México 🇲🇽 me encantan tus videos 😎
Saludos de estados unidos!
I love Mexico!
Awesome I'm still trying to keep my channel going it's pretty hard to find herps when you're only herping in your yard lol
Yeah, that's tough for sure!
Awesome vid as usual! Not gonna say what that viper looks like...the other commentators have that covered! And I've said it before anyway! 🐍 Rule!
Thanks! Yeah, he sure does. I might make a comparison video of the two. Snakes rule for sure!
Came for the aviation. learned how to appreciate snakes
Awesome. I’ll try and get a few aviation videos up again soon.
Bro, this makes me so glad I use a extended selfie stick for looking at venomous species, still havent tailed a rattler lol, I'm a bit nervous.
Yeah, you never really know. Tailing a rattler, not sure it's something I'll try. Let me know how it goes!
@@loub747 I am going down to Costa Rica, and part of my duties there will be relocation of venomous species around residences. Arent as much rattlesnakes up here as south but learning how vipers react to stimulus and understanding how to keep them as calm as possible is my goal.
Sandals? REALLY?? "it is what it is"--or was, more than likely. Keep em coming.
Yeah, I live in sandals! More on the way.... Lou
On top of Saddleback mountain “Santiago Peak” in Orange County, my buddy found another California mountain king snake near the top. It was cool. This is the second one. He left it there however because they are protected.
That's awesome. I've found them further south, but haven't looked there. Maybe I'll have a look this year. I'll definitely let you know if I find one. Thanks, Lou
@@loub747 Right on Lou
Subbed for the snake videos, love them! Any tips on where to go in SIngapore?
Another Awesome video Lou!! That Mamushi was awesome, thankfully he or she struck at the phone and not you! I’m guessing you don’t find them that often? Anyways great shots as always and I absolutely love the last clip of the clouds!
Thanks! I wish I saw them more. I haven't seen one in a year. Glad you stuck around for the cloud shot.
@@loub747 Oh wow! Hopefully you can find them a bit more often that would be awesome! I always watch to the end of your videos, you have one of the best herping channels out there. Definitely one of my absolute favorite channels, I’m never disappointed with one of your vids, even if you only find one snake it’s always great seeing another video from you!
That tiger keelback was GORGEOUS! Such iridescence!
Is the mamushi actually a rattlesnake (has rattles) or just one of those that move the tail to move leaves etc? VERY cool!
It’s a pit viper. Some seem to rattle like this. No rattles on it. Yeah, the tiger keelbacks are sweet. I have a few videos of them on the channel
Intense moment. Made me jump when he did a strike at the camera. Lol
Yeah, a very quick strike with this species.
I also love aviation and snakes, Lou! I fly regional jets, live in Arizona, and go field herping pretty regularly. Hit me up if your ever down this way!
A fellow herper pilot,,,,awesome! When I flew at the regionals, it was only turboprops. The Brasilia was a badass plane in its day. I’ll be in the Tucson area this year. Maybe Phoenix too. It would be awesome to meet up.
Nice video!!in sandals as usual🙀🙀😹have you ever caught a habu in okinawa?
Thanks. I haven’t had the chance to look for snakes in Okinawa. Hopefully someday......
@@loub747 This year I went there and saw it up close, beautiful snake 🐍😃😃
Amazing snake.
Yeah, fingers were a little close on the flip.....
Have to visit japan some day. It looks amazing.
Yeah, a lot to see. Sadly I only really see the Narita area.....
What a find!
Thanks! Wasn't expecting it!!!
@@loub747 amazing
I have an idea, make a snake only channel and keep this one for aviation. I love both so i dont really care but i get a lot of people dont like snakes so to keep things organized you could do that. Who knows maybe that channel will grow even more then this one since there is such a passion for snakes worldwide
Yeah, I've definitely thought of that. It's kind of hard to start over though. Difficult to get views/subs for a brand new channel. Who knows, maybe I will...........
@@loub747 sometimes the risk is worth it. Ill definitely subscribe and im shure all the other snake lovers will too. Id say make one and post a video about it, i have my notifications turned on for you so ill definitely know
Perhaps could make another channel for the aviation? Or for the snakes? Just an idea
Yeah, I've thought about doing that. It's hard to start over with 0 subscribers though...
@@loub747 i think u would immediately get hundreds if not thousands of subs as long as u mentioned n ur videos that u had a new channel, I'm not big into flying but I'd check it out, it might interest me just atm idk much about it... again just an idea, can also just keep doing as ur doing and post everything right here, that works too
I live in Tokyo would be great to go searching with you one day!
Spring is best. I'm always herping behind the hotel in Narita. Hit me up and we'll have a look....
Construction noise caused vibrations that scared them away
Yeah, most likely....
How many vials of antivenom did it take to get your iPhone back on its feet? Don't apologize for the content of your channel, Lou--CELEBRATE IT!
Thanks! iPhone must have gotten a dry bite.....
Cool!
Thanks
Great views
Thanks
What would be the rarest snake you could find in that area?
There's an "Oriental Odd Toothed Snake". I've seen only one alive, a long time ago. I've seen a few dead ones. Not sure about rare, but maybe not encountered all that often.
Good video.
Thanks so much. Appreciated!
Hello 👋🏽 saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Hola mi amigo. ?Donde esta en Mexico?
@@loub747 Tijuana Baja California 😎 siempre veo sus videos 😉
Keep those Asian hornets over there please. As for the mamushi, it looks a lot like a small cottonmouth.
Yeah, it definitely has that cottonmouth look to it.
