Wow not lying when I say what a great build video. Wasn't 45 minutes but was packed with info. Thank you so much! I was a new world enthusiast for years but had to quit during all the lag and well yeah. You've made me come back. Thank you.
this is the sweetest comment ive ever gotten thanks a ton! i hope you enjoy the game on your return, and hopefully new world fixes its flaws to be a game people love more

Bro, we really need updated version of this, it seems like so much fun tbh :)
Perfect video thanks for putting it together! Watching for an IG/VG build video. Also great to see a few clips of fighting while ripping through it. Thanks
I'm someone who has been running LS/VG since the void gauntlet came out but have always struggled to get kills 1v1 due to going full focus and neglecting intelligence. it does seem counter intuitive to put points in int when you get the double benefit of damage and healing from focus. But some how it works. Love the video, thanks.
focus attribute scaling with the void gauntlet is 60% and intelligence scaling is 90%, if you run all focus and no intelligence your void gauntlet wont hit very hard, but it is good for healers!
Nice work, good quality video all around. I've been trying to gather the gear for this build, it just sucks because I have to grind my gear score all the way up still, which I really don't enjoy much.
Yeah that's been my biggest hurdle. The expertise system. How much does it effect pvp? During the beta and beginning I remember the pvp scaling and It was pretty smooth
I wasn't playing since 4 months, yesterday came back. I was trying something similar to this before quit, but this... is awesome. U got my follow n like, great job.
Great guide bro. Watching your last video made me try light build. I knew oblivion was pointless for light and pvp in general. Better for pve killing x mobs at once. But I was deciding for orb of decay and essence. Mainly because orb is an extra instant range attack but disappointed with the damage but it does give you an extra HoT if you wait for the green orb to hit you. And essence does heal you to keep the pressure on the enemy and it comes off cd quickly but it cost a good amount of mana to spam it so will need to drink mana pots. But I see why you went for orb to apply the debuff much faster. Now I'm gonna have to mess with the build more. And I saw this crazy build just a few days ago from a void / staff build player running medium and using mending sacred and beacon with void blade scream and oblivion and he's fighting against x amount of players for a long period solo with out running away from his spot pretty nuts I'll link or give you the title of the video.
Thank you! Normally I detonate the Orb on the enemy and don’t let it come back but if I’m desperate for heals I’ll take it turn green. Essence Rupture sounds fun but I find this works best for myself. And I’d love to see that video of the Med build it sounds sick!
They are buffing split stat items in the next patch so getting nice INT/FOC armour is going to give you more stats ;) So your build is getting buffed if you use priest or mage armour
Thanks for the video, I really like your editing! Why do you use so much crit? Keenly empowered has in a best in case scenario 50% uptime for 15% dmg total. Everyone runs 5x resilience which is 25% less crit dmg + 150con perk another 10% less crit dmg. (35% less critdmg total) Since the VG only has a 1.3 crit multiplier crits will do the same as normal hits, isn't it better to invest in other stats? Like for the ring in +5% voiddmg instead of keen awareness and on weapon one of the attunement perks (18% dmg) instead of crit (with enchanted and refresing move)? Compared to your video that would be 5% voiddmg and 18% magic damage (note the 1sec cooldown) = 23% more damage all the time instead of a 50% uptime for 15%... Let me know your thoughts! Edit: I forgot the 10% critdmg multiplier from the voidblade talent "vicious void" which is 10% which would be 1.4 crit multiplier and reduced by most players by 35% which means a crit is 5% more damage than a normal hit. And you said Vicious on weapon is not S+ Tier which would be another 10% more (crits = 15% more dmg). Or was this build all about the 15% leech on crits and refreshing precision? (The CD reduce talent) I guess its more about the CD reduction and spam the buttons with a bit of leech as sideeffect? Edit 2: For the lifestaff, if there is group pvp or wars I would recommend another weapon perk since only a bit movement speed is not that impactful. I'd go for "mending protection" which is for the orb of protection, ~41% more healing done for 3sec if you heal an ally below 50% with it. Just a minor thing though.
ahhh i completely missed this comment im sorry! on top of the 1.4 crit multiplier there is another 10% crit damage from the 50 int passive. keen awareness on ring + vg is also important for the cooldown reduction! when you really think about it, keenly empowered has a greater than 50% uptime and attunement has a less than 50% uptime which might sound crazy. if combat went on over a long period of time, then yes keenly empowered would only have a 50% uptime, however since in a setting like OPR or arenas combat involves disengaging and re-engaging multiple times, keenly empowered is very likely to be active during those times when you are in combat and more likely to be on cooldown when you're out of combat. that might be a bit of a stretch so let's talk attunement. the vg can do around 2-4 attacks in between attunement cooldowns, so for every attack where attunement isn't active can be considered lost value just like the keenly empowered cooldown. both have their respective cooldowns and are both great options. attunement is really good for heavy attack spamming tho! (i hit enter early so edits are me finishing the comment)
for a regular healer its BIS! for this hybrid build where we only really heal ourselves it doesnt matter too much and i just take accelerating lights embrace
Blackguards VG is only good for the ice/void support role since keenly jagged is kinda useless but plagued crits is good to apply to big groups, and leeching/lifestealing are nice but when you compare them to the other available perks they can be a bit lacklustre. Leeching would be nice as a 3rd perk on the ring but on the VG I don’t think you can afford to run life stealing over all the other good perks.
With the changes to ability perks now being MUCH more potent on weapons. Would you say having Voracious Blade on your VG is important? For the 50% instead of 30% damage to HP return? Thanks!
apologies for the slow response, for this build you dont need any more healing from your VG since you have your life staff and should focus on perks that will just give you more damage :)
i only run this build in PvP and for PvE i either go full healer or full dps if i were to run a void blade healer in pve i would go 250 focus 100 int most likely!
I just tried this build same perks with resilient and did garbage in opr, I guess it's because gear score difference is that big. I wasn't dropping people nearly as fast as you're able here
as long as your GS is 600 should be okay - there is a fine line between getting destroyed and destroying people with this build too and it takes time to get used to the playstyle and foreseeing threats

Ooo I’ll definitely make an IG/VG video in the future 👀
solid guide, very easy to follow and very deep. LOVE IT TY

My maaan !
Hahahhaa you’re gonna start running this build better than me soon
Thank you for bringing us this video!
No prob, thanks for watching!!
This video made me put New World in our Squads.Win event rotation! Liked and Subscribed!
thanks so much
Great breakdown mate! Very nice video, makes sense why your build is so strong now. Definitely one of the best LS/VG players!
thank you very much!!
Nice work, good quality video all around. I've been trying to gather the gear for this build, it just sucks because I have to grind my gear score all the way up still, which I really don't enjoy much.
Appreciate it! And oh god the expertise system is so destructive for returning players I hope they change that
@@LionAD for sure, I really want to pvp but I tried with only around a 520 average score and I just got melted lol
Yeah that's been my biggest hurdle. The expertise system. How much does it effect pvp? During the beta and beginning I remember the pvp scaling and It was pretty smooth
Actual demon keen to try this build myself hahaha keep up the great vids ❤️
❤️❤️
Thanks for the build man. Love it so much.
So glad to hear you liked it!
Amazing bro! Going to try this build out thanks for the great vid and explanation 🤙🏽
Thanks a bunch, hope it works out for you!
Thanks alot for all the explanation my man! appreciate all the work!
No problem, appreciate your viewership
Great video. I wish I was better with void blade but I keep getting wrecked every time I try it lol. Looking forward to something new from ya.
it can be rough especially when hits dont register but i got used to it in time
I wasn't playing since 4 months, yesterday came back. I was trying something similar to this before quit, but this... is awesome. U got my follow n like, great job.
Didn’t see this at all sorry! Thank you I’m really glad to hear you came back 😊
Great video! You got yourself a new follow :)
Thanks heaps! Sorry I’m late to this hahhaa
This build is absolutely vicious in arenas - well done. (I agree with your commentary on the LE / DE, kind of silly changes in my opinion)
Mutated depths drops a blessed + fortifying sacred ground staff all the time
Oh hell yeah that should be useful, I got one of those from my PvP track but wanna get the Duplicitous Intent
good video thanks. Will check out others you have done
Apologies for my late reply, thank you so much!

Great video! I’m still new so I have a lot to learn but has this build changed since the recent patch? Looking
Forward to more great content!
sorry for the super late response! just dropped an update video on the build and thank you so much for the support
Hey will you be making a video using gameplay from the current patch and if so when will that be out. Nive vid
Yep! Working on it rn but don’t know exactly when it’ll drop - probs around a week!
They are buffing split stat items in the next patch so getting nice INT/FOC armour is going to give you more stats ;) So your build is getting buffed if you use priest or mage armour
im soooooo hyped
Awesome Guide! Is this build still viable and can i use it in solo pve aswell?
Thanks in advance
this is great for solo pve! for dungeons you probably want to either go full dps or full healer however
Great video subscribed gonna try this out. Is this still viable 6months later?
Thanks for the video, I really like your editing!

This setup TRUCKS peoples faces off!
Ty ty
Thank you very much for the guide. May I ask if this build still works for the latest patch?
It does work this patch, the footage was just old since this has been in the works for awhile haha
Strong build mate!!
What do u think about mending protection on lifestaff ?
for a regular healer its BIS! for this hybrid build where we only really heal ourselves it doesnt matter too much and i just take accelerating lights embrace
Solid build bruz.
thank you!
Hi, would you update the video? After October updates.
"Life Spring" is the likely BiS for this build. Looted from root monster in pools
Ooh thank you! I’ll be getting that hahhaa
Curious on your opinion of Blackguard’s VG and the leeching and LifeStealing perks
Blackguards VG is only good for the ice/void support role since keenly jagged is kinda useless but plagued crits is good to apply to big groups, and leeching/lifestealing are nice but when you compare them to the other available perks they can be a bit lacklustre. Have you updated anything after July patch? Struggling making this work with changes since patch.
I haven’t changed much besides putting fortifying sacred ground on my life staff, I’ll drop an update video shortly!
do you rock the rapier and ig build with the same int/foc split we see here?
It’s actually a rapier voidblade build and I run it with 250 int 100 foc and 150 con
I’m running 100 int 300 focus and 100 con. Is is running 200 int 100 focus okay for dungeons? Do you run as dps or healer with this build?
i only run this build in PvP and for PvE i either go full healer or full dps
if i were to run a void blade healer in pve i would go 250 focus 100 int most likely!
Do you think 150 con is that important?
I’m worried if I dropped my focus from 300 to 250 I wouldn’t put out enough heals with 150 con 250 focus.
hey man, what attributes would you run with rapier?
250 int 100 focus 150 con!
Would oblivion be better than petrifying scream?
Probably not since scream is insanely strong in PvP
I love
What stats would you run with the ice gauntlet?
for ice gauntlet i use the crystalline curse and 200 int 100 focus 200 con!
I just tried this build same perks with resilient and did garbage in opr, I guess it's because gear score difference is that big. I wasn't dropping people nearly as fast as you're able here
as long as your GS is 600 should be okay - there is a fine line between getting destroyed and destroying people with this build too and it takes time to get used to the playstyle and foreseeing threats
does this build only good if i have all expertise at 600+
It’s advised to always be at 590 expertise before doing any form of PvP if you wanna have a good time unfortunately hahaha
What food do you use?
Sorry I’m late to this, 40 con food always!
looking forwards to you coming back to Overwatch 2.
Me too tbh
Can this build handle healing in dungeons?
for non mutated yes, but for mutated dungeons you're gonna want a bit more healing power!
idk why but id like to try fs/ ls comb0
If you’d like to go for it! Although im not sure if it’ll work very well due to the pure focus scaling of LS and pure int scaling of FS
every single patch since day 1 has nerfed healing.
LMAOOO sadly true
:D
:DD
wow, What is z2u? ay,
im not sure what z2u is sorry hahaha
ohhh its gold buying, we call it G2G here lol
never love for pvp tanks in here
im sorry :(
