And what do you mean by them not being practical? From what I've heard they're very roomy on the inside since the space taken by the typical drivetrain and power plant is freed up. And who drives more than 200 miles a day? Unless you're taking road trips all the time, there shouldn't be any worry about running out of power during a typical week.

And the rate at which they will accumulate will only accelerate.

The automotive industry has finally shaken up by a technological factor. That factor is the Electric Vehicle such as Tesla. I recently test drove an early model of the tesla Model S owned by my sister in law. That thing defies latency that set the boundaries of ICE cars. It was like launching an RC car on a massive scale. You feel the torque go through your stomach as soon as you give the accelerator a gentle touch. But that was a good race to watch. I love the vettes and will always love them, but I also admire what tesla has done. It's a game changer in the industry. Results below. I also posted at bottom (I think!). Ta Ta!
I wasn't planning on the poll being done here, but it sorta looks like it sorta went that way. Of course this wasn't scientific in anyway. I counted as best I could. Some responses needed interpretation ie Gas vs EV, explaining type of car they preferred, For weekend vs daily driver, not the Plaid but waiting for a roadster, coulda woulda shoulda's, I prefer shifting, but many were clear in what they wanted. ZR1 did come out with more votes. Best I could count. ZR1 - 37. Tesla - 26.
The first half of votes seem really close. "Maybe" within 3-5.
Then the 2nd half votes increased for ZR1. Many people has expected had different votes for one or two cars. I tried to count what their 1st choice was. Appeared to me we have some serious enthusiast here. LOL Take care everyone! Thanks for taking the time to give your opinion.
