Wuthering Waves is my personal favorite gacha game at the moment. I cannot wait to see its continual improvements throughout this year. I'd love to see the comparison of the game a year from now!

Honestly no complaints, the only thing I'd really add to this is maybe don't make the Parkour bits too difficult if they're mandatory. But otherwise I agree with these takes 100%
I’d like to say skill issue. But I agree I think it should be as difficult as any other platformer like Mario where it’s more fun and engaging than it is difficult. While there’s ALWAYS different wants to traverse the same area.
@@JordinKun I was mostly thinking of the phone players lmao
I also hate how the story is spoonfeeding us on the puzzles. Like i’m not stupid i know how the door puzzle works chang li 😐
“It looks like it needs 3 OF THEM” *Thanks Changli we all say in unison*
lowkey though I want mommy changli to be feeding me 🤤 (as long as it's voice acted, her voice is very soothing)
They are taking in converts from Hoyo community, you dont know how braindead those are
@@adriandaliva1341 down bad😂
@@Gheniel_ i am not down bad, i am down RELIGIOUSLY
For parkour I wish they would do a reverse mechanic of that ski mini game, we can do some sonic the hedgehog like stuff while climbing mountains wherein we can run up infinitely as long as we pass rings.
Ahhhhh I LIKE that idea.
in some places there are little bubbles that regen energy allowing you to do exactly that, but theyre not everywhere unfortunately
Theres a place like that above the ghost rider boss on the way to the 4 star sword
For the parkour part it's also very narrative contextual,it's not easy to implement.
To make such an idea work,it needs more brainstorming and world building.
Even putting in portal puzzles from Portal are not as easy as you think.
New contexts like the time altering Sonoro spheres, new environments.
And you also forgot the "use the Zipline" to pull the platform at the end of Act 6 before we get to Dreamless.
ngl, i love the databank as is. its super easy to go around, farm mats from drops. i say its perfect as is
Great suggestions man! It's a good thing that they have the fundamentals right. Now, it's time for them to carve their identity just like PGR.
I think the easy way to make depth of illusive realm repeatable would be to add echos. Experience of SOMETHING to encourage replay ability. But also. Weekly character rotations!
Imma be real I’m finna go to sleep when I finish typing this but with point 1 we are forced to fight the new echos in the new story chapter. And with the parkour there are certain side quests that are parkour centered aswell as some Mario type levels that are parkour centers (like lingyang’s companion mission) but yea it’s underutilized
That’s all I just wanted to bring that to your attention
since you're awake keep one eye open and finish the video :) then rewatch you wake up!
Oh yeah the Overdash challenge, not the limited time event one, the one thats already in Jinzhou City where the basic rule is 'The floor is lava', booster and jump pads included, so much fun.
Your takes are so good bru. Why isnt this more popular
Aw shucks
For real, need more valid criticism and good suggestion like this video as an example.
I fell down the stairs
type shit
İ wish Kuro would or will see that video, because i agree with youuuu
I do not know palworld but this game remainds me Nioh 2 when i see first time.
They can actually do it like the naruto storm games did ngl, an easy and hard mode in missions, quicktime events in cutscenes which ask you to mash a button at a segment when there is a clash or the character has to attack fast, which adds more to both the cinema and the story boss experience. They can also do chase sequences in stories, or a sequence where you have to climb but there's obstacles in between... I think this would make the story mission and the story boss much better.
Additionally:- They need to make an area full if floating large islands along with normal land on ground level this would be fun asf ngl
Quick time events would be dope to bring back especially since they did it in 1.0 it definitely threw me off the first time but made me pay attention a lot more!
We did fight some of the new echos tho. I don't think it matters if they drop an echo, I'd prefer a chest with goodies tho. I honestly don't believe any of the combat during the quest is bad, just the puzzles were too easy, though I did like the water/freezing thing. This idea of 'weekly mission' sounds like bounties in genshin, gives me shivers just thinking about it. What would be cool, imo, would be some kind of weekly 'echo raid'... say an area of the map gets an echo swarm and you need to go help the guards or something, then you get rewards based on how many guards survived in the end, maybe there are buffs that change everyday for that. They could even get creative with the level design and shit, incorporate even parkour. I dunno, something along those lines.
Weekly raid sounds dope as well. Random open world events sounds very doable
i really want kuro to see your vids, it would be so cool if your suggestions really are added by the developers🤩🤩
for the parkour, some people might not be good at it or actually like it so i personally think it would be best to be able to adjust its difficulty for the less experienced players
mobile gamers gonna get fucked with those changes
Love the parkour ideas. I'd actually like to see more of the 2D sections also tbh. I'd even be down for an entire 2D roguelike mode. I was surprised how well the combat converts to 2D. But then they could in a more casual friendly way lean into advanced parkour segments. Possibly add wall jumps and stamina boosts that would make a Celeste like puzzle of reaching new areas.
These things should be tied to secondary rewards rather than baseline progressions from dailies and weeklies. Like achievements that people can do whenever so it doesn't matter if they need to acquire skill to accomplish it.
The 2D sections in the game are really cool. I’d like to see that explored more as well. Same with the on rail shooter they have in certain missions.
As a mobile player I wouldn't mind the parkour thing if they add a controller support.
They need to add that immediately!
I wish we could disable some parkour mechanics. I kinda hate the "going over the obstacle" mechanic
Funny enough i got all my jue crit drops from completing daily mission but only hp/atk from bossfight😂
Bro forgot how are hard it is to play on mobile and the various limitations that the devs have to consider for those players.
Directional control, camera control, jumping, running, wall running, grapple hook, air dodge, aim down sights. Imagine doing all that with just ur thumbs on a screen and as fast as you can.
They nerfed the flying bug speed because it was too hard to manuever.
I play on pc btw. Would be cool to be able to get more incentives to utilize parkour but mobile will always hold that aspect back.
I’m gonna be 100% I completely forget this game is on mobile 💀
4:20 PGR got that mode early in the patches. I hope WW gets it too.
Kinda, sorta. In PGR, it feels more like several small groups of enemies rathan than actual waves of enemies.
And WuWa did something similar to the Warzone in one of the 1.0 events.
I think he had something more like Dinasty Warriors in mind, (or The Battle of the 1000 Heartless from Kingdom Hearts 2) where the screen is literally filled with dozens of enemies at the same time.
Its monday bro bro 🙏😭
hey hey hey, It's still sunday FOR ME.
I think you're leaning too hard in the Echo farm idea. I think it's fine as is since if you log in, clean wipe your world of mobs then jump in another world and farm there you already have a lot of Echoes in a day without having to consume energy.
As for the stats, I think a much better version is if you allowed to edit 1 substat using a rare thing you can get once a week or something. If you have a desirable main stat and your Echo/item is that one stat away from being BIS, then edit one undesirable substat and you're good for the forseeable future.
you starting premise is 2/3 wrong. Echo or parkour are no part of the main reasons why mots ppl play wuwa,
1. combat,
2. gacha/waifu collector
3. live service openworld RPG with story, lore etc
4. great graphics and gameplay
5. building chars
i like the takes tbh but i dont care about the parcour too much
Man parkour is love parkour is life
Not sure how they’re gonna do the game mode thing but seems vaild
The way I’d see it is it can be a door just like illusive realms. And every week it’s a rotated story mission that’s a harder version of the original that gives rewards upon completion with different modifiers
i dont have any problems with the takes, in fact I actually agree with them but...
i do think you gotta fix ur gameplay man how did u let jinhsi die 😭😭😭😭
matter of fact WHAT IS THAT DAMAGE , maybe shes not built? idk but yeah nice vid
Man that’s when I FIRST got her. She’s built NOW 💀
Why do you play the game?
Me: Gacha
We found the gambling addict
@@JordinKun Lmao.... I mean it's gacha... If course they are playing for Gacha.
@RyukDFIzz I’m surprised, I thought people played because they’re anime games not for the gambling aspect
@@JordinKun Maybe you are right.. Who knows.
Can I add you in ww ?
