Unrelated to gardening, but I live and work in Washington/Sunderland and think that the entire force of England's road-workers must all be up here. I might just be unlucky but it seems like I encounter roadworks wherever I go. Anyway, lovely vid, going to have to try those Marksies tea bags now!

Hi Tony, Jo here.. I have just ripped through all my chillis in the greenhouse. I lave ended up leaving all my Aji Limons as they still fruiting and flowering . I have also kept 3 other chilli/pepper plants as they look really healthy and are still sprouting under nodes . So I have cut to a stump to see if they will survive over winter. Never done this before.

I've seen a lot of posts from people saving their pepper plants over. After we've had a frost so no good this year but I'll be glad to try next year. Where I live it takes forever for the peppers to take hold. A friend and neighbor of mine took the little fresh peppers from Costco and planted them out. They grew like a son of gun, she had a pepper forest.

Here in the North East I use Mr Muck, farmyard manure/mushroom compost mix, once a year I get 40 x 70litre bags (2800 litres) £185, works out approx £4.60 a bag, I have found buying throughout year is false economy for me.

Good video seeing Tony in his mask while shopping at Clay garden centre. My nearest garden centres are within a B&M Home Store and B&Q because other garden centres would involve a bus journey or ordering online. I usually get the compost from marshallsgarden.com because they offer free delivery on selected compost products and they are a sister company of Westland Horticulture who make some of those compost brands in Tony's video.

hi tony.... thanks for the jolly to the garden centre - it did make me think about the difference between a 'john innis' type of compost, and what we traditionally call 'compost'. a 'john innis' type is basically what we might call soil and grit, rather than the big bags of compost made from peat/manure/peat free etc - so to be fair, Durlstones is just the brand and im sure their 'compost' is great - but their john innis soil based compost is not the stuff you were after - it can be really hard and gritty, not really a 'compost' at all! www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=952. lots of manufacturers make 'john innis' types of soil too. Try a big bag of Durlstones 'compost' , not the john innis and you'll see, im sure - would make a good experiment aobut the differences!

HI Tony, I've been looking at your video titles for a while now, realizing that you are falling into the trap of clickbaiting viewers. The reason this has the opposite effect in the long run is people won't be able to find the topic they are actually looking for with titles that give no hint at content, and the second thing is people will get tired of sifting through it to find what they want, so please stop clickbaiting, it hurts you more than you know~
