    Just started and very interesting! Generally I prefer female voices over male voice and but here , I like this male voice who had made very good justice to the story he is reading! 👏

    Some of this lady's books are W & sexually enticing but the romance plays out for itself, this one in particular. Oscar winning actress Ardith Law is a Hollywood icon. Radiant at sixty-two, shie is the epitome of glamour and a highly respected artist. But her success has come at a price: She has a strained relationship with her daughter, Morgan who at 38 still blames Ardith for putting her career before being a mother. Well, you who pays the bills?

    Beautifully written, if you are into this kind of literature. Believable characters. That's why I love Danielle Steele. None of that whining helpless girl/ woman stuff.

    Listened to the end and enjoyed. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a 'thriller' or 'mystery', as described on the tag line. More of a film star cougar and muscle puppy romance, tbh. X

    I'm really enjoying this story I listen going to and from work. I love Danielle Steel novels I have been reading her books since I was a teenager. If possible would you be able upload the Wanderlust audio book if it was ever recorded as an audio book. Wanderlust, Family Album and Thurston House are some of my favourite DS books. Thank you for uploading.

    I literally said ‘what’ when this book ended. Why is this book listed under ‘crime, mystery, and thriller’? All it was was a predictable romance.

    think i’m missing something Morgan is in 60s her mother is living with her boy friend 75 and Morgan having thoughts of her mom taking
    care of this old man for years if he had not died. he was how much older than mom?
    mom had to be close to thhst age if Morgan was in her 60s
    fair story long drawn out but time you wake up from dozing off not mused much.

    Not bad but I hate how josh reduced the complicated relationship Morgan had with her Mom to just her being "jealous"

    • @Mizzincognito1
      @Mizzincognito1 2 месяца назад

      Yes this really is a huge point of contention for me. Johnny come lately has no idea how poor a parent the woman was and the years of negelct she suffered due parent who put her career over everthing. Josh has no idea or insight to the judgements he is making about a person he knows nothing about. Morgan does not hate her mother for for who she is like Josh thinks Morgan resents her mother for the loveing parent she never was.

    I gotta say, the halting narration style feels like a Phillip Marlowe crusty detective vibe. It makes all this romance dialog sound awkward & forced.
