RM is such a wide reader, a lot of Army has started reading books mentioned or read by RM.

This is one of my favorite songs! This camera work didn’t show the beauty of the choreography. There is a dance practice for this. Brian Puspos did the choreography and it looks like butterflies throughout. Just stunning! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I laughed so hard when Summer and Abby thought Jimin’s voice was a guitar 😂😂😂 His voice is that brilliant!! That part is my favourite part of the song. I once played this song for a whole week non-stop. It’s breathtaking. It’s in my top 4 favourite BTS songs.

HYYH on Stage : Epilogue is one of the best BTS Concert. From the beginning to the end, the setlist, the band and the instrumental is so fckng satisfying. HIGHT QUALITY AND SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

Jimin's voice gives so much flavor and individuality to BTS songs .One of a kind voice as stated by diffferent masters of music who watched several BTS concerts in very close proximity . They say all other members are great as well. It's just that they find his voice unique and hard to imitate.
Before you see a live you can listen to the live studio version, color coded so you can see the parts each of the guys sing, it's nice because you can listen to it twice.

I love the Butterfly performance in the Busan Yet to Come concert. No choreo, but pure, angelic vocals. And the fact that the concert was the last where 7 of them got to perform together in a concert setting before they reunite in 2025, I feel they put that much more emotion into the song 😢.

The guys are all great but The fact that he gets mistaken for a great instrumental moment in so many different LIVE performances is no joke. Then you still get lame-os saying he can't sing or can't sing LIVE.
Literal VOCAL COACHES have mistaken his voice for flutes and electric guitars numerous times in reaction videos. That says it all.
That negativity just comes from insecurity and it's a false narrative they've built to tell to newbies who don't KNOW better.

fun fact about the choreo: the choreographer(which jimin was a fan of) wasn't informed this is a bts song. He just randomly saw videos of butterfly later on and the song and choreo looked familiar and then he realised it was a song he choreographed lol later on same choreographer was asked to choreograph serendipity by jimin
Butterfly was already on my top 10 bts group songs, but then they sang it in the most emotional way in their last free concert in busan and it just make it more so so significant and ever more meaningful to me 😢🙏🏼💜

BTS is no stranger to mining emotional depth in their lyrics, and "Butterfly" is a key representation of the lyrical complexity that sets them apart as a K-pop act. The lyrics express the fear of losing someone through the simile of a butterfly. The butterfly could be interpreted as representing the ephemerality of time that risks being lost at a moment's notice: "Will you stay by my side?/ Will you promise me?/ If I let go of your hand, you might fly away and break, I'm scared."…Yoongi wrote it in hope to express the fear of losing someone by using the similar of a butterfly. It's meant to represent the fact that everything and anyone can be lost at a moments notice if you don't pay attention. But it mostly seems like the fear of losing someone who brings you so much happiness. There's also a hint of trying to save someone before they do something they regret or something they won't come back from…We all have different interpretation when it comes to any song..this was yoongi’s interpretation & Armys hv their own..cuz same lyrics can mean something different to you, it’s the way the song impacted you as an individual..But I just wanna share this Army interpretation that just lines up with what yoongi said about this song.. it just makes total sense if you read the lyrics..that is an Army once said "the song butterfly is about loving someone who is suc!dal" it really hit different & makes sense, especially when you know the story behing RM's line: Kafka on the shore…That's the beauty of BTS' music. mannnn i went to their busan concert last october and they had these animatronic butterflies that looked so real flying around the stadium during this song... core memory for sure. i'm so glad they brought it back again. so beautiful, one of their best b-sides truly!
They sang this at the last concert in Busan. Just the vocal line. Then we found out about Jin entering the military. The heavy somber feeling was understood after that.
One thing about Jimin is that he's gonna hit those high note harmonies live every time. Abby and Summers reaction reminded me of when their missing you performance first dropped and when I heard Jimin I thought it was a backtrack 😭 I went on Twitter and I was like "the backtrack is too loud, I could hardly hear him" and so many people were like "BBC Radio doesn't allow backtracks, it has to be just raw vocals". When I tell you... I've watched that performance a hundred times since then lol

Mine too but this is completely a Jimin biased channel where no attention is paid to the vocals of the other members, these people never pay attention to background vocals, adlibs, harmonizing, Jungkook's voice is not only best in bts, rather his voice is considered the best in the whole of Korea, that's why he is called Golden Voice of BTS .

Guys guys! Try and listen to the Butterfly: Prologue version! It has a much longer, GORGEOUS instrumental intro, and it doesn't end as abruptly. The Prologue version is purely vocal line though. They also used it as the track for a BU short film! It's just gorgeous--the song and the video. Very nostalgic with melancholic vibe (perfect for the BU, lol!)

This song is about protecting someone they love (friends, family, etc.)
When people do self-harm, it is known they draw a butterfly on the part that they did it on. But, if you continue to harm yourself there it’s erasing the butterfly and making it go away. Thus which BTS talks about when they don’t want the butterfly to go. When they talk about the fear of letting go of a hand, they are talking about the fear that if they stop trying that the person is going to get worse. They fear that if they even stop looking or watching carefully over that person, that the person will make the same bad decision.
