I have to watch your reaction videos at least twice because I end up being distracted by you guys (your facial expressions, physical reactions, and general silliness) during the first play. Y’all were especially hard to ignore in this one. There’s the two OG Dancers with Blaze going full Hobi Dance Teacher face (laser-like focus on every detail of the dance) and AJJ doing the snake neck to every beat of the music & choreo. Then pretty Mika looking like a mixture of proud BTS mama and total ARMY fan girl (especially when she gasped). As always, Nico - BTS’s ultimate hype guy being unabashedly in awe of their genius and reminding us why we are blessed to live in the age of BANGTAN. Please keep the content coming! butterfly's choreography is an art in motion. it's truly captivating.
I watched this dance practice 9 times. 1st to experience the whole, then 7 times focusing on one person only. Then the final just to take it all in again. 🥰

Butterfly is beautiful! The slow choreos leave no room for error and showcase BTS's skillful synchronization. For You is another one of my favorite dance practices for the same reason. Thank you for your reaction! Always a treat to see Mika! 💜
the more I see them in dance practices and the more I question my self: Why is in BTS a dance line again?? Should this "line" really exist?? Because everywhere you look you get to see amazing movements, amazing synch, amazing skills and obviously amazing talent. They all are amazing dancers and it's a bliss seeing them in such wonderful and magical choreos such as butterfly...
It’s simple really, it’s because the 3Js ARE the best dancers and V was improving at each practice. Jimin and Hobi are the main dancers because they are formally trained and had been for some years before they even joined Big Hit; and if you watch them dance alone, you can see the difference…the perfection in their movements; so, they lead for a reason; and JK is the 3rd best dancer (hence the 3Js). The other 4 members recognize and agree with that.
@@ArmantoAlex13i know i’m late, but i’m pretty sure they know this information - cause it's quite true, but they were trying to compliment all the members, they’re all amazing dancers they keep up with each other, so it's alright to make comments such as these even if we know the real reason. :)

I loved seeing this choreo! It's absolutely beautiful! Shout out to all of the members, they all were doing their thing, but Jin really stood out to me! I couldn't keep my eyes off of him! His moves were so clean and so elegant, and they seemed to flow so naturally! I think these types of songs are the perfect pace for him, and his comfortability shows! I always love any opportunity to praise Jin for his dancing, and I found him very impressive here! He deserves more credit than he receives sometimes, in my opinion...💜

I remember that Mr. Son said that he wished more people paid attention to the choreography and the story it tells. So them releasing so many dance practices feel extra special to me. Of course I’ve always been a sucker for dancing - Bangtan dancing most of all. I love Festa!!! 💜

Fun Fact: The choreographer for this song also choreographed Jimin's 'Serendipity' and I believe JK's 'My Time'. His name is Brian Puspos in case anyone wants to look up his work with other K-Pop groups or his work in general :)
Brian is the best. He did a video for Steezy talking about Jimin’s dancing, which was really good. He also choreographed a short video with his friends for Butter.

Jin’s voice is top notch in butterfly for me….actually all the time. There’s just something about his voice that draws me in. It’s like a melodic trance.
I'm with Mika. I've always loved this song and the performances of it but seeing the Dance practice hits differently and makes it feel more special. All the little hand moves and positions you can appreciate so much more.
This song always gives tears to my eyes just every single time! And seeing this dance practice, as what Mica said, it made this more special. This is so beautiful. I love here the most that we can see how sensitive and beautiful dancers are also RM, Jin and Suga Who are usualy not mentioned for their dance skills. They are great performers and dancers (did you see Suga in That that) they just arent those we think what comes to dance line in here. They all are so delicate, like butterhlies💜

This coreo is exceptional. So many intricate elements, 1:44 feels like how butterfly's would dart and float as they fly around. Their dances always stir up emotion, and just like Mika (HEY GIRL HAAY!) this practice brings my love for this song to another level.

When we got Butterfly, I was manifesting for Tomorrow. But we actually got it the next day and I legit cried!
BTS got so many explosive choreographies but for me the hardest and most complex choreo(my fave at all time) is their Butterfly coz in here their moves are to the minute details soft yet crisp and that needs lots of control and precision more than their other song choreographies. Very satisfying visually.
Ah...I love ALL choreography that BTS put out...butterfly is so beautiful! With the choreo being a bit "slower" paced...on the BTS scale...you can really see how much they all practice to be so in sync with each other's movements as well as to see how nicely they all execute the small isolations and pops...just proof of how much body control and and muscle strength they all possess. I would not be able to replicate these movements or make them look so effortless and seamless and beautiful! Always in awe of these seven men! 💜

Gotta mention the main choreographer of this piece is Brian Puspos, who also choreographed Serendipity. Brian has mentioned how the process of creating for BTS goes, and it amazes me that he just sends his piece to the BTS choreographers and they are able to perform this intricate piece without Brian personally teaching the choreo. Such a testament to the talent and professionalism of the performance directors and BTS, of course!

This choreography was made by Brian Puspos ♥️ Brian is a GENIUS at details when it comes to choreography & BTS did a GORGEOUS job with it!
3:54 I know BH has an ongoing beef with MBC but the live version of this part on Music Core captured the essence of the movements better. The other members' hands are supposed to look like fluttering butterfly wings when Yoongi touches Hobi.

I teared up with this dance practice video because Butterfly is one of my favorite BTS song that connects with ARMY...and now seeing the dance practice that we all never knew exists is showing us for the first time makes me fell even more inlove to this amazing song. Bangtan is like a butterfly that perfectly describes them from their debut up to this moment of their continuous success.
Love love love. Everything about it. You all, them all, we all, choreography, teachers. Right now, that moment, this moment.
I think maybe Jin plays a central role in the choreo because Butterfly plays during "on stage: prologue" (the video where V jumps) and Jin is so central in that BU video. Butterfly comes to a dramatic pause and crescendo when V jumps. Also, in the Japanese Run, each of them is paired with symbols from their BU story and Jin is paired with a butterfly in 2 places - painted on the wall behind him and then he releases a butterfly in the last 2 seconds. (And to drive it home more that the butterfly is important in that video, in the Run choreo, the last formation is in the shape of a butterfly.) Then there's the butterfly effect (what Jin has to deal with in the BU). So I think all that is just carried through in this choreo. In my favorite live performance, they're wearing pretty pastel clothes. So beautiful!!! Thanks for reacting to this!!!

I lost count of how many times I replayed this dance practice plus watching every reactors react to this. BEAUTIFUL IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT FOR THIS CHOREO.
Due respect to Brian Puspos, Choreographer, who said he didn't actually know who he was creating it for. Brian Puspos also choreographed Serendipity and by then he did know BTS and said he knew Jimin could do it. If you watch his interview/reaction at Steezy (a dance company) you'll KNOW who his bias is 😉.
I agree with Mika (sp?), Butterfly is within my top 5 favorite songs of the at least 100 faves that I have but seeing the full choreography without the different camera angles was awesome and stunningly beautiful. That slooow descent to their knees by the maknae line then the quick movements to get back, the general flutteriness like a butterfly coming out of its cocoon... beautiful interpretation of the lyrics and the music. Kudos BTS and kudos Brian Puspos!! Great reaction guys💜

An underrated song/performance, in my opinion. I wished Butterfly received more love. This however is in my TOP 5! Butterfly is a balance of powerful, crisp movements over delicate vocals. It’s very graceful! I hope they will perform this again. ❤️

Butterfly has always been my favorite piece of chero.
IIRC, this is the first song that Brian Puspos choreographed for the boys. He's one of Jimin's favorite choreographers, and did "Serendipity," too.
Butterfly is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It been years but it sounds just as magical now the same way it did when I first heard it in 2015! The choreo as well is so elegant and stunning!
One of the best BTS choreography. I've always love how controlled and calculated but still smooth and fluid Hoseok's moves are. The way he adds his own technique with those extra bops makes me look at him 90% the whole time.

Ok, so a couple of things. THANK YOU for bringing this work of ART to my attention. I’m ARMY for 1 year & 4 months. Every free moment, which isn’t much, I have watched, listened, researched, been stunned by, mesmerized, by EVERYTHING that THEY DO. I had not seen this. The choreography is ENCHANTING. I liken it to BLACK SWAN in that every movement is succinct, captivating, fluid, & exquisite!

I don't know what kind of dance form this is... but... These types of dances really suit Yoongi a lot, like he pulls my eyes so much. This one then Let go, Tomorrow... Dances like these really shows how delicate and smooth his dancing is.
