Jin Kazama vs. Leroy Smith | Tekken: Bloodline | Clip | Netflix Anime
/ netflixanime
After losing his home to a powerful enemy, a hot-tempered fighter trains under his zealous grandfather while awaiting his chance for revenge.
Tekken series has always had a cool soundtrack and this anime is no exception. From techno to bass and drum with a smidge of heavy Metal. Please Netflix, we need more seasons.
"You don't want to stop fighting me? Okay. I'll make it so that you can never fight again!"
Boy's thinking like a Mishima.
the Kazama question combined with the very Mishima answer.
Man, that hellsweep at 1:31 be looking really sick
The show takes couple of liberties here and there, but those few liberties they take, are pretty much forgivable, with it being an adaptation.
For most part Bloodline is a show that's very faithful to Tekken 3 and I enjoyed it a lot.
So, really hoping this gets renewed.
There is just much potential with this series if they go forward with adapting the Mishima Saga (T3~T8).
ikr???
@@ethancasem8259uh nope, other than a few tournament match ups, Nina trying to kill Jin, and Paul beating Ogre then Jin beating true ogre. It's pretty faithful to the story of Tekken 3 that is told.
@@ethancasem8259also it may not be that they "got it wrong" as if they didn't know the answers on the test but they simply changed some things that'd make the story better
That DB 4 counter hit is hella broken
You’d call it a low roundhouse kick irl . Also irl, a single well timed kick like that would put you out of the game , watch Kyokushin and Muay Thai fights from one championship . Fighters from that fight league have better conditioned shins and are somewhat more technical than ufc fighters
Leroy and Julia's look pulls me out from the immersion since this is supposed to be Tekken 3 story. If anything Lei Wulong wanting to stop Heihachi or Law being tenacious of winning the tournament can replace Leroy and same story happens. Overall the series was good and hopong foe season 2
I bet Jun is not dead. Lets wait for season 2
What have they done to my man Paul..😠😠
Well I'm Jin Kazama
Pa cuando la secuela Netflix
jin just canonically has that raw power. Leroy is strong and is a master of his art but he's still only human.
Exactly which is why he got his ass kicked by jin 😎
Генетика рулит получается)
Yes jin is strong
Even feng destroy mountain with single blow
And jin is stronger than him
@@italiano3494 yup 😎 Mishima bloodline 👿🩸
Bro in Tekken being human doesn’t even matter.
I love how Leroy is in this anime even though he wasn't in Tekken 3.
Yeah it kind of takes away that old school tekken vibe
But he was. Lorewise
This show does not seem to care about lore. Paul losing to king and not fighting ogre is a good example of that.
man, after they released the official trailer - it all make sense now!
Even Shaheen wasn't in Tekken 3, but Tekken Bloodline is a Tekken 3 story but the characters are using Tekken 7 characters in the Tekken 3 story.
But Leroy refuses to give up, which leads to him breaking his leg. Jin wins his first fight. However, despite the win, Jin is not pleased that Leroy would not back down. He tells Hwoarang that Leroy was fighting him like it was personal.
That's the warrior spirit. Leroy is a martial artist through and through - as long as he believes he can still win; win he will try to do
@@flyingfrogofdeath9616 nah, leroy knew he wouldn't win this fight, but forced himself to keep fighting. his decision leads to his knee injury (maybe fractured) and will take months or years to heal. in a friendly spar like this, or competitive, if you have lost, then you gotta admit it instead of playing big ego, and got whooped.
@@thankyouverymochi I've not seen whatever this is. so idk the context of the fight doesn't look like a friendly spar. Ik gym/competition etiquette intimately, thanks for the reminder
They're not fighting to death but fight for who Win, when your opponent knock off and u had chance to do fatal dmg in process if u continue, u win
But Leroy Keep fighting even though Jin already knock him twice and in ready stance, so only answer is letting 3rd party to stop fight or give em a injury to make em can't continue fight
It was personal - Leroy is after Heihachi after all
What I love about the action in this series is the respect they paid to actual tekken moves, fighting styles and combinations
The only mistake I saw here was having Jin use the Sanchin stance and defense. That wasn't Mishima style. That was the traditional (Kyokushin) Karate that Jin learned in Tekken 4 to replace Mishima.
@@danielhaire6677 what about kazaka style?
This deserves a second season ✨🔥✍️

It's unfortunate Leroy wasn't utilized to his full potential as a competitor, or fleshed out more. But, that's to be expected, since this is Jin's story. And Jin also being canonically more powerful is something to take into account as well I guess.
Idk, I think he was utilized pretty well. He gave a hint that Heiachi is manipulating Jin.
I'd probably just drop the show if they featured Leroy for any longer.
Sadly, nobody gives a crap about Jin.
Leroy should not have even been here in the first place. Him and other fighters shown, should not be here, and people are missing.
He could reappear in season 2
I love the Mishima influence. Jin tries to open Leroy up with a hellsweep because of course he does.
Jin sucks
Ahh.. Tekken 3... Lots of memories. Especially when I played with Leroy back then when I was high school.
Lmao. The grandmaster of drip can transcend timelines and logic.
What? Leroy was a new character for tekken 7 LMAO
@@youwishbro7543 That's the JOKE
@@youwishbro7543you got more hurt than Leroy's leg injury. I can spot a joke instantly, but unlike you.
There ain’t too many people beating Jin as far as tekken goes bruh. That’s heihachi’s grandson and kazuya’s one and only son (as far as we know). His mom is Jun kazama. His grandmother is kazumi. That is BROKEN. Not to mention Jinpachi is his great grandfather. Anyone who can man handle kazuya and Heihachi at the same time is practically unstoppable. That’s my dawg Jin right there

This fight scene is so underwhelming. You would expect leroy to be more defensive, relaxed and focused because he's a blind fighter and also parry is his key moves. Especially when they projected leroy to be a hard fight for jin the entire episode
This is Tekken 3, not Tekken 7, of course he's less experienced here
@@n.sanity2049 u don’t get what he’s saying
@@sayeedmorgan3413 Then do explain, I really can't see how it can be misinterpreted. But please let me know, instead of just telling me that I don't
@@n.sanity2049 Leroy didn’t exist til tekken 7. This adaptation is non canonical, experience wouldn’t dictate his character as much as it should for Jin.
@@sayeedmorgan3413 um, all tekken anime and movies are non canon, if the the complaint is "You would expect Leroy to be more defensive, relaxed and composed" then we should take into account that he has the same story he has from Tekken 7, and has never actually shown anger and frustration during a fight or ever at that matter. At that we should also take into account that if they DO in fact make this a series that covers Tekken 7, we will get a more, ya know...Tekken 7 Leroy
This show deserves a 2nd season. There's a lot more to tell
Exactly! They didnt even finish 1 game worth of story!
@@undeadinside3571 wdym? Tekken 3 ends when jin throws heihachi from the temple and flies into the moon
Similar to what happens in the finale of this anime
So it did tell one game worth of story in season 1
@@XBorg04 they also beat ogre in tekken 3. That never happened in the anime
And there’s a ton of other fighters who deserve to get shown off in action
This stupid triangle shadow in every single episode was so annoying! I couldn't take my eyes off of it! why the hell you made this triangle shadow in every single episode and cast it in every single character is beyond me! Just do a better job with the lighting!
My ONLY problem with this show is that it felt so rushed. The pacing was just so fast we hardly got to see other fights and flesh out other characters. They also should've included the rest of the fighters. Not only that but there were so many fights in one episode the fights ARE great but it's like Jesus when you're rewatching you realize how many big fights are crammed in one episode this is why we need to see the other side fights and why did they decide to use Julia's WORST outfit everyone else looks great but I can't take her seriously in her "youtuber fit" that's why she wasn't even in the final battle against ogre
It only focus on Jin and some of his friends
Most of the time, all fights in Tekken ALWAYS had to end after 60 seconds of hand-to-hand combat.
That's literally how fast the fights are decided after all.
@@xxx_jim_the_reaper_xxx no the fights are fine I'm referring to the pacing of the story
@@JasonDevil06
Its a bit short, yes.
I agree.
They only got to work with 6 episodes and we dont even know if we are getting a second season. The studio probably would love to work more episodes if they could, but if they dont got the yes nor the money from Netflix, there isnt much they can do. I could be wrong, but Netflix probably doesnt see too much money from this series hence why theres only 6 ep, tho yt views says otherwise.
After the flashback, I knew that it was all over for Leroy.
Yeah Jin's the main character so we know he's gonna win. But it still hurts seeing Leroy lose. Especially like this. But I bet he's gotten stronger now as this did take place earlier on in the series. Leroy doesn't need to be stronger than Devil Jin or Kazuya. But he should be comparable to Heihachi I think.
HOW?!
Heihachi is as strong as Kazuya
Woah, a Tekken anime? DEFINITELY need to watch🔥

People are complaining About Leroy Being Nerfed…When he Was Bound To Lose, The Story Is For Jin A Lot Of Characters Will definitely look bad or have to be sacrificial for the story to work…I agree they could’ve made leroy look a tad bit more competitive but i understand the reasons they couldnt
Man story wise Leroy is a bug compared to Jin not at this timeline though
People should be happy that Leroy was here at all. He had no reason to be.
They were tripping because technically HE WASN'T THERE. and what do they mean nerfed they must not know the ACTUAL Tekken storyline if they did Paul would be why they were upset.

Tekken Bloodline logic: Characters like Feng and Leroy which were not a part of Tekken 3, are present in the series and characters which were a part of tekken 3 which are Forest, Armor King, Lei Wulong and eddie are not a part of this series
💀
Lei Wulong really was in Tekken:Bloodline, but I agree that Eddy Gordo, Forest Law, Bryan Fury and Armor King should have been in this series.
People stop expecting Netflix to make a season 2 of anything they cancelled literally everything after one season. I don't even bother watching their originals anymore. Like seriously if they just cancel everything dor the sake of quantity then whats the point if everyone had this mindset then Netflix would actually stop to save themselves from bankruptcy but nope people dont care and then they just complain when their favorite shows get cancelled.
This is the german dub why is everybody in the comments speaking English 😂 is there no English dub?
You can change the audio. I think it changes automatically to everyone’s default.

Not really
Jin was a broken character long before Leroy came around. Tekken 4's Jin ruined competitive play
Si la pelea contra hwoarang es emocionante, está es igual o mejor...

Distract by animated shadow.
Anime: Jin breaks Leroy's leg
T8: Leroy loves Jin
T6: Jin programs Lars' robo waifu against him and forces Lars to break her
T8: Lars loves Jin
Leroy fue un hueso duro de roer, pero que buenos golpes dio, Jin realmente tiene una gran resistencia. Una buena pelea.
Indee leeroy was able to counter jins attack but sadly it wasnt enough to win the 1st round but he still fought great tho
Why is this Leroy not perrying any of jins moves , it's like 1st dan noob leroy fighting a purple rank Jin player
Tekken Bloodline is just like Pirates Of The Caribbean because they don't have Star Wars Sword.
Ouch... Poor Leroy...
I really wanted to watch this show, but those triangular shadows just look so distractingly stupid they take me out of every scene.
That's odd, I thought Leroy Smith didn't make his canonical debut till the 7th Tournament; What's he doing here during the 3rd???
Anime retcon that didn't make sense to me either. They should've based the anime series with the video game as a canon material.
And they gor rid of Eddy Gordo
Just remove the weird triangle shadow on their faces and I would watch the whole show.
Oh my god, how cute jin is 😮😮😅😅❤❤
I don't want Kazuya also to be made weak like other characters
The story's main focus are the mishima family why would they nerf one of the main characters
Kazuya isn't even here lmao
Bro Jin Body look like Goku body
Wonder if their T8 interaction was a reference to this?
damn this leroy player sucks he keeps pressing
You said in your description of the Every Tekken Fighter In Tekken Bloodline video to let you know if you've missed any fighters. Yes, you have. 2 of them. Eddy Gordo and Christie Monteiro. Tekken 3 was the first Tekken game I've ever played and Eddy Gordo has been my childhood hero and he still is. I know that he's sadly not the main character, but personally, Tekken can't be Tekken without Eddy Gordo.
yea i wish eddy was in this he was part of the new t3 generation like jin hwoarang and xiaoyu. i remember playing the demo before the game and i spent hours just having fun with him in practice mode because his combos were so cool. and xiaoyu is wearing her tekken 5 outfit instead of t3 lol.
@@Justin-nq7qj even nina is wearing tekken 5 or tekken 6 outfit here
Yeah I was ki da confused too cuz leroy wasn't in tekken 3 tournament but instead they should've eddy instead
he also has some of the most tragic backstory
The best of thing of this series it's make its just anime which gives fells of real tekken💪🔥 rather than make it realistic VFX that just a garbage like other tekken movie🤬
Waiting for season 2😍
How you gunna add one of the most broken characters in the game to a storyline he doesn’t belong in and then have him got out like that. This fight wasn’t even hard
Que pelea tan brutal, si netflix se hubiera arriesgado con dos capítulos mas, incluyendo un par de peleas así, Tekken seria de lo mejor del año en su catalogo.

Db 4 to break Leroy’s leg was one of the most satisfying moments in the show
Leroy, I can't help but feel you deserved to get your leg broken.
I understand your desire for revenge against Heihachi, but it was really low of you to target Jin because of his association with your enemy; if anything, you should have gone after Heihachi directly instead of Jin.
Killer bee from boruto vs Jin
Fight scene was whack. Tekken always had a subpar story but solid characters so you’d think they wouldn’t make Leroy a pushover considering he’s a martial arts master. Weird.
Cheesy one lines and terrible animation. I don’t understand why the fights look stiff and janky. Thankfully I can pass on watching the show and just enjoy the games.
How many 6 packs does 1 man need 😂

I love tekken but you telling me Murdock nd Leroy lost both black fighters lost really!!🤦🏾♂️
Jin is awesome, and you can see him struggling to try to hold on to his mother's teachings, yet his grandfather is trying to brainwash him.
And instill in him that you need to be a ruthless killer that whole family is just awful and kazuya don't get me started with him he's an ass.
