Lol, they are definitely a old set of wheels! Appreciate the feedback my guy! I have been leaning towards wrapping it since I do have quite a bit of white wrap left over from the other car. Maybe once this weather warms up I can get out there and do it. Thanks again for watching the video.
I have been thinking about making a video like this and just a general overview of the EMU software. The VE table is definitely a focal point. However there is more to it than that. Timing and VVTi tables. Cold start enrichment, boost safety setups, fuel injector sizes matter. There are a lot of variables.
I’ve uploaded a video regarding the EMU software. Just thought I’d let you know. Hopefully it helps you out. If you have any other questions, feel free to comment on that video.
Currently I can hit 8psi with these injectors IF (and only if) your base fuel pressure is set to around 55-60psi. Must be running gasoline (none-85) This is what my car can do and has been doing since I installed the EMU black. My injector DC is near maxed out though. To comfortably run 8psi I would suggest at least 550cc injectors. This leaves you enough room to bump of power a slight bit.
I have. I definitely want to make the switch to one but probably won’t be anytime soon tbh. I was looking at the same you have. Reason why I can switch just yet is because the car is automatic and the automatic needs the ELECTRIC throttle body crap to shift correctly so I can just axe it quite yet. I would like to switch to a normal cable throttle and a traditional TPS.
Dang I didn't know that but yea I'm ready for turbo I'm running a 2j nonvvti bottom end in a gte block with a ge vvti head i know Frankenstein right but it runs good
I'm in the break in process right now keep it up though I'm still learning from you I want a emublack now and have you looked into a pulsar turbo I have a 3576 sitting just waiting to be put on check them out
@@chriswillingham8947 non-VVTi internals should’ve good for 500hp reliably all day long. The EMU black is definitely worth it! The car runs so much better now.
TL;DR I do not think rods or a GTE head gasket is needed for 10psi with conservative timing. I personally have already been running 10psi. I tried it out to see what my fueling was looking like. I ran it there for about a week. My timing is conservative and I am on 91 pump fuel. No knocking or pinging. Now this is completely my opinion on the matter: I do not think a GTE head gasket or thicker rods are necessary to run 10psi. I have been following another guy who was running 12psi and made 412whp on a unopened GE bottom end. He ran it this way for 2 years. Has blown up yet. Of course for years the internet has said that these bottom ends should only be pushed to 5-6psi but time and time again people push them further and further and most seem to hold up just fine. I personally will be running 10psi and plan on taking it up to 11-12psi to see how things work out.
@morganthomas9404 I am making around 17-18 degrees advance in boost right now. Factory is much higher than that and I absolutely do NOT suggest using my timing as a starting point. If you have a tuner, follow his recommendations. If you don’t have a tuner, lmk and I could offer my services to you. Obviously every car will be different in many aspects: -Static compression ratio -Fuel type being used -How much fuel system you have to support -what size turbo -etc
@Knownworldwide I don't have a tuner. I plan on running a return system with an aem fpr and an aem 340 lph fuel pump and remanufactured 7mge 315cc 12 hole injectors It's completely stock still so factory compression ratio I'm going to purchase the same Speedway Motors turbo that u have and a VS racing gen 3 44mm wastegate

🔥🔥great video and i also have a boost controller on the way too😂dont know how to install it but i guess ill learn👍
Haha. Well when it gets here I will be getting it installed.
I haven't seen directional wheels in a long time. That honda would be sweet all white. Wrap it up B!

love the 240!
Hey thanks bro! Would like to do some work on it too down the road. I’ve been having it for awhile now.
Is it possible for you to do a video on street tuning with the EMU black/software? Are you only messing with the fuel adjustments table?

Do you think it's necessary to use a gte head gasket and thicker connecting rods when you finally run 10psi of boost?
