I am Gambian and I proud of Ghanaians, keep it up bro.
Great story. No wonder Ghana is familiar with Gambia national anthem. They even sung along during the African games in Ghana. Gambians are nice people.
Wow 😮 really????? Thanks for watching, please share and subscribe 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
@@cookingwithsindaco Yeah I saw a shorts video of it and they singing along. I'm Ghanaian and I know that song too but didn't know it relates to Gambia anthem.
Point of correction they sung the National anthem of Zambia but not Gambia. Get your facts right
@@kobbyeben5398 You should rather get your fact right.

As a Gambian, I always wanted to know the history of Ghana town..
I guess now you know 👌👌✔️ kindly share for other to see and learn
The Fante influence on the coast of West Africa and Angola is unmatched. Fantes are brave, daring and adventurous. We actually spread the fishing culture to many places with the best fishing practices creating economies in several West African nations.
BUT AN AMANKWAAH WAS ALREADY THERE. GHANAIANS ARE ADVENTUROUS
💯✊🏾
But Ghanian always asks people to leave their country they are all over in west Africa
@@Am_Manasa Remember, at that time Africa wasn't as populated as today. These guys have become part of Gambia's Economy. THEY STILL GO BACK HOME, BUT THEIR ALSO NEEDED HERE.
@@Am_Manasa Also remember Ghana can't afford to host the whole Africa right now. Maybe someday!!
2015 my team Flowers street play final against the Ghana town junior team in the Brufut primary school field and we won 1,0 the goal was score by me.... We train Ghana town and to be honest they are good people's 💯 %
it's amazing to hear them speak Fanti, & still remember their Akan culture!!!!

Aww 🥰 thank you 🙏🏿, keep sharing and watching ❤️
What impresses most about this old man is that fact that he still speaks the Fanti very fluently with no foreign accent to it. This is fantastic and a lesson to those of us in the diaspora.
They have really tried, even their kids speak the fantas
Well, they speak fante there. The place is like any Ghana town
My wife is from Ghana town. Everyone is friendly, approachable and easy going out there as the video proves and the beach is beautiful and it's simply the best place to live in the Gambia.
The First Gentleman who’s grandfather started Ghana 🇬🇭 town.
He speaks good English
Wow
He is a Teacher
A special story near and dear to me. Thank you Sindaco for sharing.
I'm a Gambian who lived in Brufut and attended Brufut Primary school up to Primary 3. One of my best friends Kofi lived in Ghana Town just a km or so from the school. He used to invite me to his home on some weekends and I would have him at ours on other weekends. We were very young then.
I'm excited to hear that your guide has almost completed a book on the history of Ghana Town, is it possible to get his contact from you? I believe there's an opportunity to work with him because I'm an author myself, but a civil engineer. Haruna Darbo
Thanks in advance.😊
Wow, thanks for watching and kindly share and subscribe
As far as an African is in Africa it’s still home for that individual 💯
I think Ghana government must extend his hands for some social mobilities

When someone is mending their fishing nets, the verb is “ɔresa”, and not “ɔrewen”
The people of that land are my ppl, my tribes people, they left ghana by ship to Europe and mistakenly landed on there many decades ago, they decided to make life there
Uncle Abando..Greetings
Snr man kwesi,he be my snr for ahantaman, nice guy

He should put his book online, that way it will be there forever.
Interesting story, I need clarification please. What was the coup you talking about in the Gambia that took place in 1961?
Thanks for showing the world of ghana town. Can the guy go to airport to find out how he can export the fish to Europe?

Ghana must learn from this interview. The man said they can not grow cassava because the land has been used for building. How are they going to eat if all the lands are used for building.
It really sad, thank ls for watching
Where about is this Ghana town? I didn’t hear of Ghana town when I used to visit the Gambia in the 90s. I used to lodge in a hotel in bskau cape something something. I used to visit serekunda, Banjul, faraja or so
It was dre since before you visit in the 90s
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤝♥️🇬🇲
Is there any way you can help me get in touch with Emmanuel?
I taught him computer literacy. We were in touch but lost contact few years ago. Please 🙏🏾
Think you can contact the elder since his number was posted
The guy surely meant 1981 not 1961😂😂
We are African
Is there a straight bus from Ghana to Gambia? Or you linked from Ivory Coast by bus
Yes, there is one from accra to Dakar and then Dakar to Gambia. It is all connected
You can also get from kumasi ahen boboano and that one is straight. And I know some of truck drivers I can give you their number but they move from mankesim and connect to kumasi any info write me

After watching this beautiful doc,is that what came to your mind? You yourself what have you done for your community?
I heard yaya jammeh killled them all
You should have asked the Oldman if he is now a Muslim, he was dressed as one. Gambia is predominantly Muslim country.
I believe the name confirms it
Bro am really enjoying your video and everything but I will edge you to stop talking into their answers when you question them ....allow them to talk and express them selves ... THANK YOU.
How can we get in touch to help?
Please there’s a contact in the video
kindly keep quiet for the guy to talk you are ruining the interview
Hope Gambia is looking better now. Not developed.
Ibrahiem i respect and he is mij broer support him sindaco and Tatiana Ibrahiem is the futer toghter with you two of holy Afrika
Maybe they should appeal to Ghana for subsidy, just like Jamaica was subsidized for decades!!

What are you doing in that country after they kill a lot of Ghanaians in 2005
Really, what happened ?
Nigerians killed thousands of Ghanaians, too. But still, there are a lot of Ghanaians in Nigeria and a lot of Nigerians in Ghana.
@@Youtoogettotheir former president jammeh ordered for 44 migrant Ghanaians and a few Nigerians, who were in Gambia en route to Senegal/Europe, to be killed, suspecting them to be spies
@@YoutoogettoNigerians killed 1000s of Ghanaians? When, where?
You should ask all of those Ghanaians living in Ghana town what are they doing there too,if they were not safe and living in peace you think they’ll still be there smh. do your research of how it happened before commenting ….do you think that president they said did it killed only Ghanaians.People will always find something negative about a positive thing smh
He mij broer sindaco im working on it broer. Me and my wife work hard every day for respect of holy Afrika i veel you up dated
It’s amazing they named there “Ghana town” even though they were Fantses. We all know some tribes would have named there after themselves 🙄😝
Just be bold and name the tribe that would have done that, and provide some examples. Some of you bring tribalism into everything.
Can any Gambian tell me the meaning of “NYANK” ?
Thats you 😂😂 it’s means bantu people
This is where the massacre of the 44ghanaians took place.
Government must bring all of them home
For what ?
Most of this peoples are Gambian Ghanian. so why will they want to leave
@@samuelbaah7017 to come and stay in Ghana… look at their condition over there
Why would the Ghana government take people to Ghana who aren’t born there, and they prefer the country of their birth better, the escort says some try to stay in Ghana but they eventually returned to Gambia
The coup was in July 1981 not 1961.
Broer to colonist eye for an eye
The story he's saying is not real 😊
Ghanaian imam is the one saying the thruth man
It's a an area in Brufut and Gambians there BRUFUT GHANATOWN 🇬🇲🇬🇭
they should've gone to France 🇫🇷 . their lives would have been far better
You people are big big lies. There has never been any GHANA TOWN before independance and immediately after independance until after 1973 when Seagull Fisheries was established.Stop distorting history othereise auhtorites will be force to intervine.. Renove this from RUclips'S now How old are you people?
U can educate the world without insulting anyone, since no one said anything insultive during their interview.
You can take a Ghanaian out of Ghana, but you can't take the lack of innovation, development, and fortitude out of them. In this day and age, you still build with roofing sheets. And as usual, you want government to come help
So mean. I hope you’ve built estates
