Hey friends! Thanks for watching! If you want to hear more about Bible journaling and growing closer to God, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/iuZljU1TZhk/видео.html and if you want to join my Bible Journaling sticker club or support this channel(WOW THAT'S INCREDIBLY GENEROUS- THANK YOU), here is the link to my Patreon: www.patreon.com/howtofaithalife
I enjoy coffee and Bible time’s videos and I think they would completely agree with you on the culture of “Jesus and Coffee” as a saying. It’s a shame people took it that way and that you felt pressure to take it down. Putting our thoughts out there in today’s internet culture is so difficult and scary; you just never know what is going to “trigger” or potentially offend people. Thanks for a fun little video! I’ve wanted to experiment painting with coffee in my journal ☺️
@@HowtoFaithALife not too much thankfully. We have a pretty respectful and kind community, but there have certainly been a few. To be expected in a broken world 😉 it is always sad when they come from fellow believers though. I hope you haven’t experienced too much of it either!
I totally remember that video and have been a Coffee and Bible Time subscriber for a long time and I totally understood what you were getting at with your message! No worries Faith! 😊
I did a whole art project in high school using coffee as a paint medium. Using instant coffee, rather than traditionally brewed coffee, works so much better and gives you the freedom to add more for a darker color. Doesn’t taste great, but still smells and looks like coffee.
Faith! If your indoor paint is acrylic, you can take almost boiling water and one of the green scrub pads that one would use that are safe for non stick pans...scrub your floor over the paint spill and it should come right off. Have paper towels handy to wipe it away. :D
Friend, I think about that video now and again because it radically challenged me! And while I balked at first, now I am so grateful that God led me to it. And especially to YOU! Love you, Girl!
If you plan on painting your bible pages with any type of medium (coffee, acrylic, paint markers etc..) if you coat the page with a bit of Clear Gesso (Diana Wakley- from Ranger makes a good one), it will keep it from bleeding through. Some people if using watercolor and they don't want it to run a lot, will paint it with a small layer of white acrylic paint on the blank bible page (obviously 😉).
what a funny story about coffee and the other group.... you are such a breath of fresh air. your attitude and authenticity is contagious!!! I'll live vicariously through you and I'll stick to drinking my coffee ... 😉😄
You could probably take the whole filter and twist the top of it and paint with the wet filter with the coffee inside of it just an idea might go faster too just be gentle so the filter doesn't fall apart
Lol I think this might be the one thing I am too scared to do in my Bible. I remember watching the video you were talking about and yes, I like Coffee and Bible Time, but I never thought you were critiqueing them. I got the point you were making. How are you? Did Joe have his exam yet?
I'm so glad you didn't think I was being critical! Joe has his exam next week, I so appreciate your prayers! Thank you. I am well, we are actually prepping for a new puppy to arrive next week!
I give thanks to God for my morning coffee….it helps to clear the cob webs so I can be awake, alive and alert to receive His message for me each day. Certainly not on an equal footing with Jesus - just one of His blessings that aides me in my morning quiet time with Him. Coffee painting might be a way to remember the beauty of a simple, beginning of the day, pleasurable blessing. ❤️☕️
I need prayers for my neighbor who is going through the worst situation. We are praying together but she needs prayer support to courageously go down the path she needs. Without too many details~she is on Hospice but needed to put an order of protection against her thirty year broken but still love of her life. No children but great faith.
Hey Faith big fan of both ! Definitely no offense takin! 😉 Have you tried "dick van dyke" brown and watered it down ? It's the nicest and best brown ever usually an accrylic but I'm positive you can get in watercolour too ! Enjoying your vids so much thank you and God bless (I'm also in seminary too ! We call it here in OZ Bible college 😉) God bless Ya'll xx

I actually used some coffee in my watercolor planner. I just wanted to do a coffee cup ring. I love how it turned out.
I actually found your channel from the video while I was watching Coffee and Bible Time. I found that is was a good message.
Thanks for watching!

That's brilliant!

@@HowtoFaithALife yeeeeeeah! 😂🤣😂
I'll bet your Bible smells de-lish too. 😁
Came out great.
Your Bible is probably gonna be smelling like coffee for a while, but hey, it's worth it 😅😁👌
I totally agree about the coffee and Jesus stuff.
Also, are your nail gel? Thanks sista
I worried that this would bleed through your Bible page! It looks great
I was a bit worried about that, too! But nothing! So glad! 😅

Barbara, PRAYING!
I want to know if the page smells like coffee? Because I would be sniffing my bible in the middle of church if it did. 😆
