I do it mainly so I can remember if I watched this video, I have done a eph 6 Bible study but she always takes good notes I will say I don’t like how some Christians who do bible study online always favor certain scriptures over another.. but she literally is the role model we all want to our Bible studies

Absolutely! I forget 99% of the time to just arm myself with the truths of the gospel and it severely costs me daily in my confidence, assurance, sense of security, etc.

I love your scrappy bible. Literally blew my mind to do this to a bible. (I've been binge watching you channel at this point just sitting in wonder lol) Thank you for permission to wreck my bible. (I want to start a heavily used bible to pass on to my daughter's. One each) And a bunch of notes and highlighter seemed so boring for what I'm calling their heritage bibles.
I grew up in a place where you just didn't do more then underline in your bible. I gave myself permission to write in my bible a few years ago. But you make it a celebration to devour the word. So here's to the beautiful mess I plan to create to glorify God.
I did a lesson a couple weeks ago for my Awana kids on the Armor of God. I learned that their shields were made of panels of wood glued together and that they would soak them in water before they went to battle in order to defend themselves from the fiery darts from the enemy. Also, yes the sword is an offensive tool but it is also used defensively in battle. Just like Jesus used scripture against the devil when he tempted him in the wilderness. And - I always thought of it as a long sword but it was actually a shorter sword to be used in combat. Thanks, Faith, for all of your videos and wisdom and sharing with all of us

Amen! So true that it is active. We have to make the conscious decision everyday to dress in godliness. I also deal with anxiety and I have to constantly remind myself that God has it in control. I love how excited you get in your videos and the historical context you add to it. I hope you are doing well and keeping you in my prayers.
Loved this! Bible journaled along with you and wrote way more notes than I thought I was... haha I really love when you use cross references. I just started a color coded high lighter system so I am enjoying going through the different verses highlighting according to different categories. Some verses I've already highlighted before though... hahaha When i am back in the States I want to buy a new bible with larger margins to bible journal in. (I am currently living in China as an English teacher.) Love your videos!

Got there to learn they're doing a series called "Gear Up" about the Armor of God! WON'T GOD DO IT! Won't He confirm when we are where we are supposed to be!

Christians are fighting the adversary, satan (and his demons)who is the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2). It is a spiritual battle, so we use spiritual weapons, such as love, prayer, the Word, etc.
Faith, if you claim that Ephesians wasn’t originally written to the church in Ephesus due to its use as a newsletter of sorts to various churches, then how do you explain verses 21 and 22? Paul couldn’t have sent Tychicus to every church that distributed the letter.
