I enjoy your videos. I've been learning and practicing a lot. But here is a question. There is a song from Marshmello- happier that says: " Lately, I've been, I've been thinking I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier. So is the song wrong?? thank you.
Hi! That song is correct. Lately means recently. When we talk about the adjective "late" (the opposite of on time), we use the adverb late. Basically, the adverb "lately" is different from the adverb "late." Sentence example: "Lately, I have been arriving late to work." We are using both adverbs here.
