That's so exciting! I'm sure you will do great! Have grace on yourself and your child on the first year. It will be one to remember!

Your video was finally the one that could explain this. All the other ones just confused me more.

Hi moving to Florida this year and the goal is to homeschool my son he currently has an IEP here in NJ. Any advice on what I can get started on before we move?

Hi! Thats exciting! Once you arrive in Florida, you can register for homeschooling with the county you will live in or on February 1st, applications open for the Step Up Scholarship program which you can do instead of registering with the county. Before you get started homeschooling, you should look into various curriculums and perhaps look into various homeschooling styles to see what will suite your son's learning style and goals.

I have a question it's my first year , I had them on a homeschool program online so would it be best to start creating a log now ?

Hi there! Depending on how you have them registered, there would be different requirements. If they were attending an online school full time, then they may be registered under that school (even though it is a homeschool program). If you are registered with the county, then you would need to make sure to have a portfolio of your student's work for an evaluator to check at the end of the year. If you are receiving the Step Up Scholarship, then all you would need to do is complete an assessment test (the website tells you which ones qualify) that is submitted at the end of the school year. I hope some of this help!

Hi there! I'm unfamiliar with Duvalflex. But if it's a kind of virtual school, then everything should be provided on line. I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance.
