Its a dual analog synth in one that can be separate on programing, and its the only analog synth that has poly aftertouch and velocity with boat loads of modulation on top of modulation. It was based on the yamaha GX1, like stevies "Dream machine" and the yamaha Electone E75, they share the same voice card. The CS 80 is a beast and a beast to repair as well, somewhat unreliable but there is a clone of that synth in japan by black corp with there cs80 clone called "Deckards Dream" named after the character on blade runner, blade runner soundtrack is full of CS80 that vangelis used. another CS60 and 80 user is herbie, from his feets dont fail me now, sunlight, Monster and mr hands album
