Excellent video. Best one on this knife with examples of functionality. I’m surprised it doesn’t have more views. Well done.

Liked and subbed. This is the exact kind of content that makes the bushcraft side of RUclips such an amazing resource and a great place for learning and discourse. Thanks for the excellent video.

I love the 3v version. I always found the full size version to be a little too large for most tasks. I guess I wasn't alone In that thought because they came up with the compact version. They did a great job with the revision. I will probably pick up the sk5 version as well as a beater knife because at $35 usd the value can't be beat.

Ive got the SRK in SK5, san mai, and 3v. They are awesome, i use the SK5 the most. Then i got a Recon Tanto. Also check out the Cold Steel kukri machete, slip some innertube over the handle though. You can throw it.

I just ordered the compact on Amazon after watching multiple reviews online for the past few months. There are a few things about it I think I would change but the price just seems unbeatable. Plus, being the knife the US Navy SEALs, it's a pretty cool knife to own. I still want the Holtzman Gorilla Silverback but it's $100 and although I can afford it, it's hard to justify at the moment. Plus I bought the SRK with a Christmas gift card.

    Great comprehensive review
I have had one for a couple of weeks
Knocks out many other knives on the market as a very strong and usable knife
Crazy price of $35 make the cost to value ratio extremely high, in fact unbeatable
Sharpens up wicked with a DMT EF
I will perhaps strip the coating at a later date
    Highly recommended

Good video. I bought the big version recently but haven’t had time to play with it yet. Good to hear I can rely on it to do some good stuff.

14:12 love dangler idea for „lowering“ the sheath! don´t have belt clip, but achieved same effect with paracord only

If its as good as its big brother than it will be a great knife. A nice size. Had it in my hands a few weeks ago and it did feel good. Might have to pick it up.
