    Hi Todd,
What ada converter or audio interface do you use ?
Love the stereo image on the mixes, especially 1st track.
    Thanks in advance !

Hi, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my demos. I use an Antelope Orion 32+ Gen 3...love the converters in this box. Cheers!

@@askdrtk wow ok. I’m changing my digi 003 and looking at avid carbon or the Antelope Orion.
Is there any stereo widening on the mix or anything ?
Thank you for your time and response.

No specific "widening" other than when I apply it with IF Pusher in the video, but there is reverb which will of course expand the entire stereo image (width and depth). While not on audio in this video, I do use both plugins and an SPL Big for when I want to adjust imaging.
I have auditioned the Carbon but have not have the opportunity to side-by-side AB it with the Orion. Conversion on the Carbon is also excellent imo. For my application, the preamps on the carbon, while some of the best you will find on an interface imo, were not required. The IO on the Orion was a better fit for me (I use 64 channels with Madi and ADAT expansion.) One other thing to note is that the Carbon has a more "complete" monitoring section including monitor outputs (dynamic range 120dB) and built-in headphone outputs whereas the Orion does not have headphone outputs but has a very nice pair of monitor outputs (dynamic range 129dB). This is not an issue for me as I use a monitor controller, but it is a consideration. Sonically, I don't believe you can go wrong with either choice. These are only my thoughts, but hopefully they provide some help.

      @@askdrtk very insightful. Thank you.
It must be the conversion. The 003 sounds very dull in comparison and with the panning of any signal doesn’t sound no where near as wide.

Hi Todd! I have another headphone suggestion for you. I would like to see you run audio tests on a pair of Sony headphones known as the MDR-1AM2. Sony claims that the MDR-1AM2's exclusive 40mm HD aluminum-coated liquid crystal polymer drivers deliver "clear, lively sound, especially on mid to high tones" and that they also reproduce a "smooth, precise response across the entire frequency range." I would love to see you review these headphones and see if they really are worth the marketing hype. Thanks again for the great and awesome audio content!

No Waves for me, anymore or ever (and especially not now), sorry.
Nice channel and very clear explanations, presentations, reviews, audio examples & tests - kudos!
Hope you always keep in this style & vein, and never go the "Thank you Sweetwater..." salesman route that most audio/recording/mixing channels here on YT have gone, sadly, losing all credibility. Keep up the great work!

I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my channel and no need to be sorry... I try to cover a variety of content, as you have said, in a way that is as objective as possible towards digital / software, gear, manufacturers, dealers, etc... My long term goal is to build a safe space where the community can share ideas, experiences, tips, and maybe have some fun along the way. Everyone will not agree all the time, and that's OK too! The community is better when everyone is comfortable sharing in a respectful way. Thanks so much for the feedback!
      Cheers!
      Todd
