Not sure if Clapton’s Woman Tone is "midrangey" or "trebley". To me, it sounds the opposite, and I believe he achieved it by turning the tone on his Les Paul’s NECK pickup all the way down.
Can't say enough good things about this pedal! Sounds great being an overdrive + the woman tone - extremely versatile! Well worth your hard earned money.
Yep, as long as you have that 60's marshall tone you can just do your neck pickup or your bridge with the tone rolled off to "1 or O" as Eric would say. Perfect proof that sometimes guitarists are so stupid we'd pay $350 for something we already have in a tone control

Yes, but the amp is set fairy trebley og midrangey, in order to cut through the mix.
Yeah it's definitely a dull tone to me
@@WorshipFog777 Yes I agree - my point is that those settings OFFSET the dark tone known as the Woman Tone
@@ameer_saban it's no secret
I fully agree with your statement neck pick up with the tone knob on (0)

Love Aclam - their pedalboards are just the best in the world and absolute must have!
I’ve been chasing tone for decades. Have reached nirvana more that once. This one nails it. IMHO.
A pedal that does what every guitar already can do inbuilt! Hmm! WHO would have thought! ;o/

Ah does every pedal have a pretty nudie picture on it?
@@winstonschwarz1636 No sadly!
You can do it with the switch from the pedal, and not stop playing at any moment at all, it’s easier
I hope one day we will have a "Haze Tone" pedal, with wah/fuzz/phaser and vibe in the same pedal !!!!!
I’ve got one of the first five that Margie signed.
Sounded nothing like Clapton's tone.
Looks like a great pedal.

Clapton explains it in a Cream video..Tone off on his SG
So what is the mystery knob on the left that is not mentioned or touched?
Volume - it was set for the right level for the recording and not touched.
I wouldn't say that Clapton's woman tone is trebly.. Id say that it has all the treble taken off it actually. I can stretch to midrange but not trebly
Dont sound like it at all way too fuzzy
too fizzy
A clam. Woman tone...
Nice video, but I liked the pedal better when it was called the RAT.
It sounds way too fuzzy and fizzy there are pedals out there that will really get the sound for less money.
He would have been playing on the neck pick up so this entire thing is silly
The pedal looks great aesthetically but sounds terrible.
This doesn‘t sound sweet at all…
Love Clapton, but what a stupid name for that tone. "Woman" ?????
The name comes from the Cream song Outside Woman Blues. Those muffled lead guitar lines. That’s the sound.
@@Burnt_Gerbil Oh! Who knew? Not me!!!
@@SingleMalt77005 - 🤨
It was Clapton who gave the tone that name. It's like his tone with the Bluesbreakers album is known as the Beano tone.
And he does not test the pedal with a telecaster or some other guitar. This is the fucking laziest review I have ever seen! Below all criticism!
