im a old grizzled ex pro who left golf came back but no direction came across your youtube and i have renewed love of my journey to become a good player again. I hope to see you in Connecticut ... you have the best in PGA youtube hands down. I am so sick of Brogolf that has taken over the sport ... Porzak golf is just pure solid instruction and love of the sport...

Holy crap! I've seen every video for two years now and this one has finally brought it all together. My right bicep way way too tense and not folding correctly as a result. Today, I had my best ball-striking round of all time just softening the arm, ONE MILLION THANKS!!!!

This is the best video I have seen that explains well the purpose of the trail arm. I tried this at the range and was striking the ball better than before. I'm still trying to get the hip bump thing going. Great video Mr. Porzak, l'm very impressed on how detailed you are in explaining. Millions of Tip of the Cap for you Sir.

When I first started my right elbow would shoot out toward the ball as I tried to steer it and manipulate it. Letting that right arm loosen up to a 1/10 and keeping it in that tucked/giving blood position literally changed my entire swing

is the right elbow stay center for all clubs-- driver, woods, hybrid, irons?

I've often wondered how soft or firm to keep the two right arm segments during setup and swing. Like you said too firm and you get an outside lift. My worry has been too soft and it might lead to over bend (more than 90* fold of right arm) which then might compromise the left arm, but if as you allude to if the left arm (or both arms) move in sync with the turning of the right side (shoulder and hip) the width should be maintained.

Love the channel. I’m just wondering, should the hands still be below the shoulders even with Driver/longer clubs like fairway woods?

Ok so what is the time or point of release, when does it happen after seeing the white shirt guy disconnect his right elbow from his side. What determines how far the right shouider lifts in the back swing.

I’ve been struggling recently I use your tips but I’ve lost some distance mainly when I starting setting my wrist. I feel like I might be getting armsy should I feel my left shoulder take the club back?
