when I watched this trailer first time came in my mind is you guys reaction than any others reactions, I been waiting for you guys since the release of the trailer
maybe they was in hibernation (like in Second Thor Movie Dark World, like Malekith was Sleep/Offline over years) aka Space HyperSleep/Space Hibernation also seen like space movies, like Interstellar, Passengers etc movies

Thanos is an Eternal with a Deviant gene, he's related to Thena the Angelina Jolie character.
Yeah but not in the MCU probably. If he had the deviant gene, the eternals should have been allowed to interfere, but they didn’t. The mcu will most likely keep Thanos as just a “titan”, with no relation whatsoever to the eternals or deviants
@@emiliorodriguez8104 I think he’ll still have his comic origins because even though Thanos has the deviant gene he’s still full Eternal. It’s like he was born with a weird disability but it doesn’t make him any less of an Eternal
Thanos is rumored to appear in this movie in some capacity. If it's true, he will have some connection to the Eternals
@@christianthiessen1504 yes but if he was an eternal, he should obey the celestials, just like the eternals in this movie. But Thanos apparently had no idea about the celestials. It’s just too complicated, I highly doubt they put Thanos in here.
Thanos shouldn't appear in the MCU again, only in scripts as a reference, they should move on from his story completely

For clarification, Gemma Chan (Sersi) was the Eternal that changed the bus into flower petals. She has the ability to use cosmic energy to change the molecular structure of objects.
I thought that it was Sprite coz she is the one with the illusion-making abilities

Kit is the black knight and isn’t an eternal. He’s a descendant of the Arthur’s round table and he wields the ebony sword hence the name.

He looks kinda like Eson the Searcher as well.
@Loke Ken Nee yeah they do look very similar; even I thought it was Eson at first. But once you watch it back a couple times you can notice some slight differences

The Celestial which appeared in Guardians of the galaxy was Eson the Searcher, The one in this trailer seems to be Arishem The Judge,
yeah and the Green one they showed is "Jemiah, the Analyzer"
The head doesn't really match though.

@@PianoMoverSmith1 Arishem is the leader of the four hosts in charge of the earth "Experiment", acting as final judge. Beyond that, I haven't seen anything on it's place in the greater Celestial hierarchy.
Kit Harington is Black Knight, he's not an Eternal. The red giant is a Celestial. Eternals were created by Celestials. They obey them, even if an Eternal tried to help they're not powerful enough to go up against a Celestial.

In comics Kang never faced any celestial.
In comics black knight (dan Whitman)played by kit Herrington defeated Kang the conqueror in a brutal war when he was not the leader of Avengers.
I am more excited about black knight because he gonna be the future leader of Avengers

Fun fact, she was working on Eternals at the same time she was doing Nomadland, her award-winning film. There's even a little "Avengers" Easter egg in that film.

That celestial is the judge.. If he deems your planet a failure, he will purify it....
The Eternals also are immortal, they reincarnate/sleep every 100 year's or so. Depending on how much cosmic energy they use or how powerful they are some might have to go to sleep longer. Some of the might wake up at different times, explaining why Ikaris might not know any of the recent events.

@@mandeepkumarray9050 Well, it's more of a really long resting period to regain their cosmic energy. They usually do it in secluded places and put up a barrier to protect them while they are at rest.

Sersie (Gemma Chan’s character) turned the bus into rose petals. Her power is matter manipulation (like you said, kinda like the reality stone).
The reality stone would be reality warping molecule manipulation is a bit weaker then that, and in the mcu she can only manipulate non organic matter.

@@benarkos539 yes what she was doing is molecule manipulation she’s just changing the molecules that are already in the sand into water, same way she turned the bus into flower petals. Reality warping is basically controlling existence itself kinda like what Wanda did.

There is a Celestial egg buried inside the earth…it was warp speed cooked by the Hulk snap and now it’s coming out in “7 days”
The Emergence is when the celestial is born from the inside of the planet
Sersi's (Gemma Chan's) ability is transmutation; she turned the bus to rose petals. She can also rearrange the molecular structure of anything in the comics. Thanos is the son of a villainous eternal; so technically an eternal, but he is also a mutant, hence his unique purple skin and facial features.
The one you saw in Guardians is Eeson the Searcher. The Red celestial is Arishem the Judge I believe.
Correct & the green one looks like jemiah the scientist/generic engineer one. Looks like earths about to be reset as arishem has deemed the life unworthy.
Each eternal has their own special unique power and ability
There's actually 2 celestials in the trailer Arishem the judge and Jemiah the analayzer

That quick shot of the green celestial is rumored to be the head being mined in Knowhere(GOTG). Its hinted in What If ep.2
So damn glad Marvel brought back Gemma Chan after she just finished being Minerva in Captain Marvel.

Pretty sure the emergence is going to be the mutant gene being activated. Xmen will emerge in the MCU!! long awaited.
The Emergence is when a Celestial "hatches" from its incubation inside a planet. This film will prolly be them trying to stop a Celestial from emerging.

Kit Harrington's character is human. He eventually becomes hero as well after he gets a magical sword or something and he becomes the hero called black Knight.
Kit is playing Dane Whitman aka black Knight, who's an avenger
Kit Harrington is Black Knight, Ikaris is an Eternal but most likely went his separate ways from the group and created a barrier with his cosmic powers to remain isolated from the world for a long time.
It's actually Ikaris.

This movie looks really good. Past trailers and marketing didn't really do it for me and I didn't know what they were going for but this trailer got me hyped. Visuals look great. Great cast. I'm actually hyped now!

so i’m sure someone already said this but the celestial in this trailer is Arishem The Judge. The one in guardians is Eson The Searcher. The other celestial in this trailer that looks like he has a galaxy in his hand is Jemiah The Analyzer.
Also, Kit Harrington is playing Black Knight but i don’t think he has his abilities yet. I’m sure he gets his ebony sword in this film and we will learn more about him in other projects. Black Knight will probably be a prominent character for years to come!
As people have said this one here is Arishem the Judge and the one we saw was ESON, in the guardians. Also, the one holding Thena was actually Kro and he's the leader of the deviants and is a very interesting character, SPOILERS from the comics, He and Thena were lovers and even had twins, due to this reason he has sometimes helped the Eternals as well, he's a shapeshifter.
"Arishem is the ruler of four of the Eternals on earth as well as others on various planets but instead of being a saviour, he is known as ‘Killer of Planets’, due to his harsh rulings
The Judge’s powers are more that of the celestials. He is able to manipulate reality, energy and matter. Teleport objects across time and space and has immeasurable strength and stamina.
His armour in itself is powerful, being able to withstand the impact of a planet that has shattered in front of it. Arishem is able to destroy planets using an energy blast.
He has an insanely high IQ and stands at 2000 feet high. Other powers and abilities include enhanced sight and hearing, time travel, portal creation, molecular dissipation and absorption and many more."
The Celestial you see is Eson the searcher. Also Thanos is technically related to the the Eternals his parents were Eternals. But he had the deviant jean that is why they are both blue.
Just one glimpse of the Celestial was menacing in this trailer. Imagine watching more of them in the movie. 😵

Ikaris (laser eyes) wasn't asleep or anything like that. Salma hayek is explaining how the emergence is happening due to the snap. The snap is not some normal thing they would all immediately be used to, nor is the emergence clearly. Her character figures out it's the snap that caused it and has to explain it to the others. simple.

Eternals and Deviants are viewed similar to Humans and Mutants.
And the X-Gene in humans, was introduced by the Celestials/Eternals/Deviants.
So it could be the emergence of either, the Celestials, the Deviants, the Mutants, or all three.
Always glad to see you guys reaction of movies and tv shows, but this movie is going to be epic and it’s a lot of questions on this movie right here
Villain shown is Kro. Kro is a warlord, dictator, and general to the Deviants; Deviants being an offshoot of the evolutionary process that created human life on Earth instigated by the Celestials.
So in the beginning she's explaining to him "thanos wipes out half the universe" he knows but she's explaining whats happened because something has now come up. Also know the bible says it took "7 days" to create earth. (it's kinda biblical in a way) Eternals cant be snapped they're too powerful. Created by the Celestials. They cant get involved with human conflict unless deviants are involved. But I think because they love the human race so much they're now taking matters into their own hands
in canon, the Celestial Host were created by Eternity from cosmic energy - the only problem was that after the universe started to cool down after the Big Bang, there wasn't enough cosmic energy going around in the universe to birth new Celestials. The Celestials implant seeds of the host into planets so that they can collect cosmic energy and incubate until they are ready to hatch (referred to as as an "Emergence"). Usually that would take millions of years, but, after the two snaps during Infinity War and Endgame, there was just a ton of cosmic energy that accelerated the development of the Celestial embedded into our planet - which is the situation that Ajax was relating to Ikaris.
Although it looks like the Eternals were sent to protect humanity, in the end they were there to protect the Celestial hosted in our planet. When Deviants started to prey on human beings, they threatened the Celestial because human beings are sort of a source of low level cosmic energy. We're little cosmic cattle feeding the Celestial in our planet. Arishem The Judge (the red Celestial) gave the prerogative to the Eternals to only intervene if the Deviants were preying on humans, but not meddle in human matters since it ultimately would not threaten the balance of life on the planet which the Celestials are dependent on for nourishment.
Does the Eternal know that?( That a celestial is in the planet)
And what gonna happen when the celestial hatsh? Everyone die? The planet is destroye?
Sersi (Gemma Chan) is the one who does the bus, she can change the molecular makeup of anything. Kit Harrington is playing her current boyfriend in the movie, Dane Whitman, but he is not an Eternal.
He IS, however, the Black Knight. 😏

Was very surprised when I first heard Chloe Zhao was directing a marvel movie after “Nomadland.” It couldn’t be more different.
Then I saw the trailer, and it made sense. It’s so much like the mystical Chinese films of the 80s & 90s, like
“The Bride With White Hair,” and “The Dragon Chronicles” or even “The Dragon Chronicles” and a dozen other similar films where characters has magical powers. It’s so interesting that these stories are coming back to a such a huge fan base. Those Chinese films were hugely popular! That’s all these MARVEL movies are!
Can we jus take a second to appreciate how beautiful this film looks.
Think about it, if Thanos was able to be snapped away, then so are they. More than likely Ikarus was snapped away.

Thena: A warrior princes who can use cosmic energy to form any weapon of choice.
Ikaris: Strategic leader of the Eternals, basically a immortal Superman.
Ajak: Matriach of the group, has healing powers.
Sersi: Has the ability to manipulate every non-living matter.
Kingo: Has the ability to manipulate energy with his hands.
Makkari: The fastest woman in the universe. Uses her speed to spy on planets.
Phastos: Brilliant inventor, who creates weapons and tech for the group.
Sprite: Stuck in a childs body, can project lifelike illusions.

yes, the collercots story showed celestials. the place "knowwhere" in GotG was a celestial corpse. peter quills dad was a celestial. peter is then part celestial. thanos in the comics was part deviant, the monsters created by the celestials that the eternals protect us from. and kit harrington guy plays the Black Knight, a magical superhero, but not an eternal, in this film, with a long comics history going back to early marvel in teh 60s. he def looks the part of a british knight of old. brilliant casting, esp. after his being a GOT guy which is very medieval.
I’d believe that if I wasn’t a firm believer in the fact that Ego is a living planet in the comics and is very much NOT a celestial, marvel did it in the movies to plan for the future.
I think the collector is going to be part of this movie as well. because the collector asked ta chala if he can fly and have laser shoot through his eyes in the what if series
