Please people - especially us diabetics - do NOT think that a big rash near a sore that won’t heal will get better and go away by itself. Necrotizing Fasciitis is nothing to mess with. I had the same experience. A sore. A rash that got larger. A high fever. On the 3rd day I went to the doctor and was immediately ambulanced to the hospital. They said I had only a 25% chance of pulling through and my family was told to expect the worst. I had 9 debriding surgeries in 21 days, followed by 3 months in ReHab. I repeat - Necrotizing Fasciitis is nothing to mess with.

Wow thanks for sharing your story Chris. I was overweight, type II diabetic on metformin for years. When my primary care said he wanted to add a 2nd diabetes medication I finally had enough, said no and put what I was learning about low carb, Keto and Carnivore approaches to reversing diabetes. Like you I found my A1C back under 6 within 4 months, my weight down by 25 lbs. I weened off Metformin over a 6 month period. 18 months into my journey my weight is back to where it was when I was in highschool some 40 years ago, A1C is 5.3 constant. I cannot ever see going back to my old way of eating.

You two are just darling!!! I enjoyed that so much! I lost 110 lbs. in exactly one year with IF and also EF's every weekend for the first 6 months, and reversed my diabetes and lots of other issues as well. But for the past 10 months. I keep gaining and losing the same 5 lbs. over and over again, instead of losing my last 30 lbs. I know that I need to cut my carbs way, way down again as I keep going back to a little sweet potato, a couple of small mandarins a day for dessert, etc. (but mostly fatty meat and organic eggs with some veggies and pecans. I also indulge in some "keto treats" which are really nothing more than processed junk. You sound like people of faith, so please pray for me if you get a chance. I think carnivore would work wonders for me as well so I'm not sure why I can't get motivated to give it a go for at least 30 days. You two are so beautiful and happy and glowing, and I totally believe in your protocol, so, God give me strength!

Hi Guys! I watched your video and wanted to "share". I am 32 years old, I have been a type 2 Diabetic for nearly 7 years now. I was around 325 pounds at my heaviest. Taking anywhere from 4-6 injections a day, averaging 200+ units of insulin daily. My average sugars were 300-400 range daily, even with that amount of insulin and also taking jardiance and was on metformin 5 years. Approximately 65 days ago, I decided it was time for a change. I changed my diet completely, started working out 5-6 days a week. Dropped soda, fast food, energy drinks, basically all the junk. I focus on protein and watch carbs. I am down 29 pounds, BEEN OFF OF insulin for 65 days now. Blood sugar levels are in the 100-135 range daily. I have about another 30 days then I will go back for tests, A1C was over 14 when I was originally diagnosed. Last A1C was around 12. I am planning to start Carnivore on my 90 mark, which is coming up real soon! Great job to you and your wife!

Thank you for making this video! You both are such an encouragement. I’ve been doing the carnivore diet on and off for several months. Every time there is a celebration and I “treat” myself, my efforts get derailed and I want to quit. It’s good to hear that my battle with my sweet tooth will continue to be just that, a battle, but that I too can resolve to abstain and enjoy this healthier lifestyle. The benefits are unbelievable and prayerfully, I’ll desire those more than the temporary gratification from carbs. Congratulations!

Chris, you are an inspiration to me. I am 6'3" 304 lbs, and my goal is to be at 200lbs before my 60th birthday next March. I have T2D and severe sleep apnea. I have been "dabbling" with keto and 18/6 and ready to go Carnomad. I am curious about when you eat. I hope I can check in with you as I go through this life change.

You can do it Pastor Todd.
      I am 53, 5'11" and was 314lb on Jan 30th 2023.
Sick and tired of being so overweight I began the keto journey. My wife is amazing and super supportive so she had my back.
I was lucky I have no diabetes, or any other major health problems other than joint pain.
      Almost 3 months later:
I am almost full carnivore but still have green vegetables every couple of days, to keep wife happy.
I am one meal a day.
Started doing 16-8 and it just became OMAD as my diet improved.
I have lost 50 lb in the 3 months.
My goal is 200 lb and see how I feel there.
My wife, who is tall, fit and healthy and at 54 weighed in at 142lb, she is now 127 lb and feeling the best she has in years.
I am 5' smaller in the waist. I have lost inches everywhere and feel like I am 35 again.
I am almost halfway there and can't wait to get under 250.
Plan to begin an exercise program which will help me get it going for the last half.

@@chrisspath Thanks for replying to me Chris. Day 2 of Carnivore. I ate two meals yesterday within a 6-hour time frame. Steak/Ground Beef, eggs, butter, and bacon (BBBE). Still drinking my coffee but have cut back. Working toward OMAD. I am grateful for you and Laura! Joining locals today.

It is amazing what you both have achieved. Honestly surprised to hear you still desire those other foods after 5 years. A lot of carnivore people online act like they never have temptations and cravings

If I eat enough (meat/animal fat) I am not even tempted anymore- it is when I try to “portion control” that I get cravings returning. Or when I thought using sweeteners was okay… if you remove sweet tasting things you don’t want other/more sweet tasting things. ❤

Excellent commentary you two and thank you Chris for laying it on the line. I have a fear that diabetes is watching me from around the corner... I'm gonna give it a serious go with the 20/4 eating and fasting and sticking to hamburger and flank steak. Thank you for your motivation and please don't stop doing videos.

I then began Keto in 2017 and have changed my body, my mindset and my husband and I lost weight and maintained the lifestyle.. We know what we need and now having gained some weight back am getting refocused and recommitted to reset and recharge..

    I'm on meat based keto
My 6.9 a1c took 2 years to drip to 6.7 and then in 4 months on the meat based keto I was at 5.6 and now 5.3 1 year later. It's amazing how quickly it made changes in how I feel.
They just did a glucose check on me. I had a beef burger patty, 1 slice cheddar cheese and 3 eggs fried in bacon fat. About 2 hours later I was an 89. Dr's are always amazed.
No meds just diet and I have lost 69lbs so far and I'm looking to doing a 3 month meat only elimination diet cause I have some allergies that are getting worse and my bp is still problematic, better than when i tartrd but still high. I still do sugar free and some keto stuff and I suspect it's not helping lol
I'm so glad you are well and congrats
I enjoy that you guys are so real and Share how your went from start to now and how you work with your kids and just the authenticate approach.
    Blessings

I always get people asking me when I will stop the diet and I respond to it as I don’t plan to change the diet as the benefits are great plus I don’t want to go back to where I was.

As my weight dropped I noticed the pressure was too high. Not sure if you've ever had gas issues related to air being pushed into your guts essentially. Since I previously worked in healthcare, I knew how to lower the pressure. I did incrementally until I tried without it. I used a snore app to see if I was having excessive snoring and I wasn't and I felt great so I never went back.

Chris, it is awesome you survived that health emergency, my mom had flesh eating disease 17yrs ago at age 70. She survived as well but lost her arm & shoulder. She is still doing well.
Thank you for all the great videos, Laura.

You 2 are beautiful. 😊❤. I wish i had listened to my body years ago. I have always craved meat 🍖 and been more a savoury person. Sweets really didn't do anything for me. Then i got addicted to chips, crisps and the crunchy feeling in my mouth. That was my downwards spiral from there, and being dependant on carbs and being hungry all the time 😢. The feeling of tiredness and emotional sadness all day every day. I hope that at the age of 53 and my carnivor eating i will have a few years in me yet. I will keep you posted in my future successes. Currently sitting around 205 pound, very sad and non motivated. This is only day 3 so far. Thankyou both for your knowledge and helping others. Vonni. 😊
