It's not that simple. Anti- hate speech is being used to silence genuine criticism. There is no objective morality, it's just personal sentiment and opinion.
@@kussemeinkont Hate speech that causes harm should be a crime simply because it causes harm. If someone says they don't like someone because that person this or that, that's free speech. However, when someone says that a person is evil, unnatural, vile, nasty AND that person should be (taught a lesson, removed, dealt with) and/or should not be (allowed help, consideration, care, kindness) then that is hate speech because it is accusing a person of something that in their opinion is bad and that other people should treat them accordingly. If I say "I wish so and so would just go away" that is free speech, but if I say "that person is (something bad) and should be shot/killed/murdered/taken out" then that is inciting to violence. Again, you don't see a difference. Free speech is the free expression of one's OPINION. Hate speech is striving to get other people to hate who one hates and act on it (with harassment, slander, etc or worse) as if the reason for their hatred is based on fact. For instance, politicians who say that immigrants are criminals and that the crime rate has gone up because of immigration are spewing hate speech because 1) that is their opinion, not fact and 2) they only say that to frighten people into voting for them so they will take care of the problem. The result of this is a society where hatred against immigrants becomes a justified feeling, a normal reaction for too many people. It is hate speech, but because a politician is saying it, it passes for political speech. It is how fascism gets a hold.

"Training in morals and good conduct is far more important than book learning. A child that is cleanly, agreeable, of good character, well-behaved-even though he be ignorant-is preferable to a child that is rude, unwashed, ill-natured, and yet becoming deeply versed in all the sciences and arts. The reason for this is that the child who conducts himself well, even though he be ignorant, is of benefit to others, while an ill-natured, ill-behaved child is corrupted and harmful to others, even though he be learned. If, however, the child be trained to be both learned and good, the result is light upon light."
Yes and it is too bad some refuse to learn and they think that knowledge of morals came from somebody who ate a magic apple given to them by a talking snake. Totally with you on the Space Karen. Bring him in.
I am a white male South African who grew up in Apartheid SA, and do not agree with Musk.
He started his PayPal business with people like Peter Thiel. These kind of people are a danger to the world society. They belong in prison!
absolutely agree well said
An expertly delivered summizing of Elon Musk, Rob. 👏👏👏
I find Musk alarmingly weird, and increasingly unhinged. I certainly would never ever consider buying a Tesla - his cars are junk. I wouldn't touch them even if they were the last car maker left on the planet.
He's also destroyed Twitter/X. I would never go on X now. I'll stick to RUclips and Instagram, thank you very much.
Excellent piece. Wholeheartedly agree ✊
“Woke vs. Weird” is the civil war we didn’t ask for.
Reality is a bit-left leaning because most "ideologies" on the right are built upon movies playing inside of people's heads, and not reality at all.
South Africa is forever indebted to the US...
Please don't ever send him 'back to where he came from...'
Signed,
A -relieved- grateful South African
Lying should have consequences. Govt's are too weak.
The female boxer Imane has filed a criminal complaint in France for online bullying and mysogony. Included in this complaint is Musk and JK Rowling, who have ceased their awful posts since this happened. I must admit I was really happy with this news because the hate directed at Imane has been awful. The MSM and legacy media is often just as responsible for misinformation and yet they also get away with it without consequence
Often forgotten is J.K Roling as quite a nasty piece onher own
So proud of Imane. It take balls not to be silenced by the oligarchy
@@sigilpop so proud of you, it takes real intelligence to not be immediately identifiable as a blatantly obviously anti trans troll.
@@sigilpop Well she did it without balls. You know, because she's a woman and women don't have balls.
You'd know that if a women ever spoke to you once in your worthless life, you pathetic, pointless incel loser.
As an American I am appalled at the jingoism snd lies coming from Musk. Let's hope Labour does what is necessary to protect human rights while avoiding civil strife. Keep calm and carry on!
🇬🇧 🎉
You should be more concerned about the left wing C wrap coming from this fraud.
@@harristweed2120 Reality leans strongly left. All the right has these days is bizarre fantasies and delusions of grandeur. The rhetoric gets weirder every day coming from the right. Case in point, your comment.
Thanks Rob a good video.
Spot on.
ANYONE buying a Tesla has blood on their hands.
Plus a bad bank balance ....ask the rental company's.....
Please stop saying the riots are either happing in Britian or are British. We've never had any riots up here in Scotland, or in Wales. The people of England get mixed up between being English, and Brittish. They're not the same....Totally agree with ever thing said... keep up the good work!!!!
Reminder: The Rwandan genocide, 800,000 murdered in 100 days, was stoked by daily provocations from radio outlets, calling Tutsis cockroaches and stoking fear of 'invasion'. 800,000 in 100 days.
Lock him up! An arrest warrant is a good start.
🙏🙏🙏
Rights with responsibilities is key. Another case in point was a certain politician "asking questions" publicly before asking them privately to verify fact. Such a person has an agenda and understands the inflammatory nature of their words. They should be shamed in parliament and legally warned or prosecuted. The underlying cause is a media (both social and mainstream) unfit for purpose. These characters know how to game it to feed their ego.
All what you said is correct, but don’t you also think that successive governments over the last 20 years not doing what they promised to do has generated more anger in the population? Do you not think successive governments are far more culpable for our present situation? Let’s blame the messengers rather than the people in power who brought us here.
The messengers in this case along with their financial backers are just as responsible for the corruption etc as the goverments they control to do what they want.
Thank you Rob for highlighting the danger that Musk poses - I believe after 14 years of tory slackening of all the regulatory bodies powers it is going to be an uphill job but Labour need to be pro-active and bit the bullet on this issue, difficult as it may be. Keep up the good work.
OFCOM won't even give GB News a slap. Seriously think they'll take on Musk ?
If you crowd source it enough you can take on anybody. The reality is Musk can be bankrupted. He is little more than a Russian oligarch at this point and can have his assets seized.
I really don't understand why people call him a genius. Everything i have seen of him he is a greedy con man. He hires smart people and buys companies and claims he was a founder.
he ruined so many peoples lives
Michael Grade, Baron Grade of Yarmouth was appointed as chairman of Ofcom for a four-year term from 1 May 2022.
The current Chief Executive is Melanie Dawes who was appointed on 12 February 2020. She was previously the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, and before that worked at HM Treasury, HM Revenue and Customs, and in the Cabinet Office.
Ofcom are a waste of time!
Money got into his head.
......and his dick.....
Very well said, thank you for nailing it.
21st Century Lord haw haw
FYI: All South Africans can't stand him!
you absolutely hit the nail on the head here..well done
Ban him from the UK!
As someone once said: 'libertarianism is the politics of the toddler'.
Was it lardy boris john stoned.
Should the head of Ofcom be an elected position rather than a political appointment?
It's about time money doesn't mean power.
How did this grotesque acquire this money ? ?
Government subsidies
Speaking as a dog I couldn't agree more with your comments about cats.
saying "it's a shame he missed," is inciting violence according to the ban I got.
I've had more 24hr bans for joking about Donald Duck, since the near miss, than I ever got criticizing Islamists.
@@alfsmith4936 I got banned from commenting on MSM pages nearly two years ago. They still have not given me a clear reason or a specific example as to why. I just kept challenging Brexity types and Trump pushers. I did not swear. I made no threats. Just used clear arguments. I've tried appealing but they just ignore me.
Asking a female member of westbro baptist church "Do you think your miscarriage, which is really just an abortion from God, was The Lord's way of telling you you're wrong to hate abortions?" is harassment and hate speech according to Twitter. Screaming horrific abuse at women going to get an abortion, however, is free speech manifest.
youd' think a billionaire would know how to keep his face from melting
This horrible man Elon Musk needs to face the consquences of his vile actions too!!
❤ Obrigada Truth to Power
Next time, please don't drag cats into it.
Is that reference to Dr No..
@@billbhein2949 Not intentionally.
It was very harsh to domestic cats
@@travelwell6049 Too right. My cat is livid with him.
I have an old Tesla model S, got it some years ago, when Musk described himself as a "middel of the road guy" who voted for Obama. That was just a lie, I guess, to sell more cars when Tesla was a newcommer and groving. Now... I'm embarrassed to drive my car. Its a fascimobile!
We need new laws that make these people responsible!
Spot on!
Elon’s neck appears to be aging along an alternate, accelerated timeline
OMG, I have been saying this for years now. Finally, everyone is noticing
Just found this channel, great post ..
He is a very clever, very busy and very greedy man. There is no way he would waste a minute of his precious time Tweeting unless he thinks he will profit by it. That is Musk and Farage in a nutshell. Cash from Chaos.
Excellent analysis.
Well, if people finally stop buying his overpriced rotten Teslas and obnoxious Cybertrucks, I'm sure he will stop tweeting around...
Modern day Howard Hughes starting to believe in his own press release.
What is it about putin lovers and misinformation?
Do you really want an answer?
The world has a serious problem. It's called Elon Musk.
that is an insult to domestic cats, who are much more self aware and able to survive on their own.
Elon Mars is calling. Go man !
As always, this is an excellent video... although it's a little unfair to the domestic cat!
Superior race, space, psychopath...So Hugo Drax was reborn as Musk
