Great content mate I think a series going over how to drive manual would be helpful. Going over Hill starts, clutch control in traffic, first gear take starts and do's/dont's etc would be ideal!
Great job man, thank you very much for this video! It could be possible to keep a camera on the pedalbox for next driving videos to watch your footwork please? :)
Why does no one ever mention in these tutorials, that for rev matching, you have to match the rpm to the speed of the gear you’re downshifting into? You can’t just blip the throttle to any rpm and expect it be a smooth downshift. No hate, love the channel man. Just something I find annoying that everyone seems to miss haha.
I disagree, ofc you need to get it close to the right rpm, but I pay no attention to what I'm actually blipping to. I just stab the throttle and it always ends up somewhere close and then the clutch can smooth it out
Always good to see your vids even if you drive a Toyota sometimes 😉, but you missed my 2 favorites manual car shifting techniques and that is flat shift and side stepping the clutch 👍☺️🥰🥳 godspeed 2 U all
Congrats!! (Hope you don’t mind me replying) I learned to drive in Aotea it has a mixture of a roundabout, and wide roads which I loved when first started out driving. If you want to start off road in carparks I highly recommend outlet city after hours. Other places I’ve learned to drive is Kenepuru in tremewan street and the surrounding areas and then eventually branched out from there. Hope this helps!
Hey! Kiwi! Just bought a 141xxx kms accord euro sport in manual! For 11k aud.. got a reflash booked in March, you reckon that’s a good price for 11k, also any tips or anything with the car
@@RotmgFishyy check your power steering pump, aircon and vtec solenoid. Always the first things to have issues on the cl9. Mine had all 3 problems haha
i find it very hard to hold the same brake force while pushing the gas. also it feels like the throttle response of my k24z3 isn't exactly perfect, maybe because of the throttle by wire?
Yeahh it is a bit tricky. Just have to practice. Try using the side of your foot. And a reflash will really help with throttle reponse. Mine felt just like a cable throttle
@@KiwiCarLife original one? at 200k km? mine at 205k km the pressure bearing start to be noisy, and i replaced it with ep3 clutch kit, and ep3 4.7kg flywheel, rev match is way better, i am not able to do heel and toe, but i will try 😁

Yeah true could look into that!
This was awesome bruv, thanks. I launch my car the same way, just need to practice that heel toe skill more.
Nice man!
It always about practice, practice makes perfect
Indeed

Most of my upcoming videos are already filmed but can do for videos in the future yes

hey i just got my learners and was wondering if you know any good spots to practice driving in wellington. loving the vids!

@@notanotheraaron Just any quiet empty carpark is good - then move to driving around a quiet suburb on the weekend in the evening when it's not busy
Merci kiwi for this great video !
All good!
Good stuff mate, do you know if this car has any towing points in the front?
I think so? There's one like way back under the engine on the subframe - I used it to jack it up when I installed the headers
nice one bro
Cheers
I can parallel parking on an steep uphill with a heavy van and tight spot.
Well done

11k for aus prices is probably decent, in terms of mods watch my 6 best mods for accord euro video
I picked mine up for $4.7k AUD with 171xxx as the base model manual. I'd hope for 11k it's in mint condition, mine has a few minor imperfections.
@@BreeingIan yeah gearbox and clutch smooth and the whole exterior is clean

I have a stage 4 clutch. Just wants to grab and go. I have broken axles on launches.
Yeah with a clutch like that you probably wouldn't be able to just dump it haha
You have any pulsar vzr or sss's you can review? Would be pretty cool if u can
Not that I know of but if one comes up I'll review it!
@@KiwiCarLife Thanx appreciate it
Just a question where did you get the type s grille from?
Wrecker
decent advice, however clutch dropping even a 6speed legacy at 6k is just asking to snap a driveshaft
legacy is not a Honda or Toyota!
He wasn't dumping it necessarily, just using the clutch to take some of the impact. It was fine
@@KiwiCarLife tell me bout that head gasket 😆
I cant heel toe can only rev match
Good opportunity to practice!
Your clutch is crying 🤣
Ehh it's done nearly 200,000 and still grips all good. I think it's fine. Never smelt clutch in this car before

Is it just me or is there a tiny amount of lag between the 1st and 2nd in this car?
Well I mean you can't make instant shifts no it's still a manual, but the way I'm doing it is very very close
Surely a lil powershift lol
What I did was a powershift I think?
@@KiwiCarLife lol powershifting in other words a no lift shift. Would probably make a nice pop with yo car being tuned also
