I have watched each and every one of your sketch and shade videos, several times. Each time I am awed by your skill, talent, and ability. All of your videos are quite impressive as are your depictions as you take a raw outline drawing to a remarkable photo-realistic completion. I have tried several times to recreate the same exact picture that you have completed in your video and each time I am left disappointed, frustrated, and just want to give up. No matter how I attempt to emulate what you have done I always fall far short of the desired result.
Would you PLEASE consider, as you are shading sections of a picture, to tell us HOW you are do it? Such as which pencil you are using, how hard you are pressing. is the layer you are working on only a first layer and the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th layer done with different pencils..... More tutorial of HOW. I can SEE you are a great artist. I want to learn HOW I can do what you do.

Material used Pencils: Staedtler Mars lumograph H-6B, and a 12 B pencil. Board : Strathmore 300 series bristol board smooth surface. Blending: Soft bristle paint brush, cotton buds and a blending stump.
My technique for shading skin: I use a Staedler Mars Lumograph set of pencils 4H to 6B. My first layer will always be of lighter shade in this case I used a H pencil to put in the base layer and I don't put much pressure on the pencil I usually shade using light pressure for skin tones. For second layer I used an HB pencil to put in the shadow areas and always remember to blend the graphite after each layer.I used a reference photo to draw this drawing so I know which part of the face needs to be darker in shade. My 3rd layer was with a 2B pencil (area around the cheeks).
For drawing hairs i use a 4B pencil to block in the first layer then i use a 12B pencil to draw individual lines or block in the dark areas, then blending it using a soft bristle paint brush the blending motion is in the direction of hair flow this way it wont smudge and looks realistic.

Skin tones are done using Staedtler graphite pencils Hair is done using 12B graphite pencil (Brand name is Deli)

Pls give a toturial, how u used to draw outlines of your portraits
I use grid method to accurately trace the outlines from the reference image, then the grids are erased or else the lines will show through the drawing.
