I was excited for this one. Can't speak for the German rulebook but the English rules are horrible. We spent WAY too long trying to figure out if we were playing right. Can't even find a good video that explains some of the issues we had. We ended up just wining it and trying to play the best we could.
Hi Mike. I just played this with Caro last weekend and it was fine. Nothing I'm craving, but I would play it again with the right group. As for the art discussion: I didn't mind the art, but the colours were rather off-putting in that it hurt my eyes to continually look at such bright colours to the point that my eyes would sometimes lose focus. It's something I also encounter with high contrast coloured lighting.
I played this at Essen Spiel, and found it quite fun. I can imagine this becoming very fun with repeated plays with the same group of friends.
Genuinely one of mynmost fun games played this year. Fantastic
I played this with my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. We played it perhaps 20 times now and she has a really good shot at winning.

You can play this with a pack of playing cards and some pennies with max 4 players just take ace and court cards and you have the game
Or use the suits to count down
They should do a parody of Die Another Day for this games theme song, lol
Funny thing is the title says new, but this game was a 2017 PnP game that nobody paid attention before.
