Our first game, I played the Butcher and won without a terrible amount of trouble. That's not some weird brag, I'm just saying I disagree with their assessment. I had a blast playing him and if anything, I thought it was tough on the Survivors.
Stifling Dark ❤❤❤ can't wait to hear your thoughts on that 🎉🎉🎉 I hope to hear you enjoy that as much as this one! I think you will! It's very similar... but a little deeper! And I hope that rulebook we did a good job for you all.
I'm curious about what information they are saying is in the survivor/killer booklet, but not in the main rulebook. I just looked through both booklets and everything there is also in the main rulebook. As far as i can tell, the rulebook is comprehensive and contains everything that is in both booklets.
I agree with not starting as the butcher, I started as the spectre and that was a lot more fun. I will try the statues next and a different map and see how much that changes my overall view. It's a quick enough game to almost be an opening game. Though putting the wall together is still a pain.
The Butcher is way underpowered but I agree with the assessment that he is good way to start new people off (Specifically new survivors). He can easily be overcome and may even provide a cheap scare. I was able to land a few hits in some of my early games. He can be buffed though, in one of the game variants they have traits that will make him more formidable. My favorites so far is The Murderer but I haven’t tried any of the expansion monsters yet.
I cannot WAIT to get my copy! I agree about the Butcher; He was kind of meh when I played him. However, the variety in monsters is really exciting, and I love how it seems accessible to gamers and entry-level players alike.
It's beautiful, but I wouldn't be interested in building it every time I wanted to play. After having heard them say it's not that hard to put together, I'm willing to concede I might be wrong about that. I'd definitely have to see it in action before I bought it though.
sounds weirdly like survivors enjoy this more than killers in general? I do like sitting silently and listen my friends communicate so that part wont be problem for me
sadly I heard about this during an interview another channel did for another game, and the designer was also demoing this. I heard about it too late, and wish I had been able to back it. sounds like a great time
as Logan said you can preorder this from the publisher. but a quick warning the deluxe tokens pushed some backers out until a probably February delivery
@@bayareamasto Doesnt look like the deluxe tokens are in the late pledge. correct me if im wrong but it looks like you can only late back base game and expansions
That all depends. Mind MGMT is great but shines best if you're going to play with the same group enough to take advantage of the Shift system. Terrorscape is great for fast one-off sessions. And then whichever theme/art appeals to you more will carry a lot of weight. -Chris

Ice Makes produce some of the most unique and amazing games. Looking forward to their game, EPOCHS.

I am wondering the same thing. It's all there :/
Surprised this wasn’t on Camila’s top games of the year
Tom's outfit looks like a cross between Dick Tracy and John Hammond from Jurassic Park, lol. This game looks super cool btw!
Glad I'm not the only one who thought the exact thing lol
My copy comes in today. Cannot wait! Great review!
Where can i buy the game?
You sunk my battleship!
and if it wasn't for you meddling kids I would've gotten away with it!

Are the statues a killer ? How in the world does that even play ??
When is this game coming to retail?
It's not. Backer kit exclusive. There will probably be another campaign with new killers in 2025.
I’m in the January delivery timeline - I am stoked to play it 😅
Very keen for the reprint
Have you tried any of the expansions? Any favorite or even ones you'd consider must/haves?
Can you please clarify what rule is on character/killer booklets and not in core rules? I can't find it.
Cool. I'm expecting me game soon.
Now to actually find some shelf space...
Where can i buy the game?
@@reguluscorneas1638 don't know if it's available in retail yet. I got it via their Kickstarter campaign

What's the painting on the self adjacent to the shelf with Tom's dice persona?
WooHoo! I still had $1 on it! ...just ordered :)
How do I buy this game? Is it sold anywhere?
Man this looks fantastic, on aesthetic and theme alone

Now I regret canceling my pledge
I believe you can still late pledge
If popular enough, it will probably go to retail. I was firm on not pledging due to the high game price plus high shipping to Australia
@@ylein6508 uh even late backing the game is cheap.....now the shipping to Australia cost i dont know
I’m sure you are aware, but it is back on Gamefound right now.

Me and my boyfriend play dead by daylight lot. So this could be fun version of that.

As a slasher fan, this looks awesome 😎.
Would you say this game is better than Mind Mgmt?

Having Only three killers is a bit slim, this a fantasy’s flights game?
If I think that Spectre Ops is a bad game, do you think I would like this?
This game plays much quicker for one. Spectre Ops is kind of drawn out.
So they give you pages and pages of info on the bad guys and then you have to buy many of them separately?
Does anyone else suddenly want banana laffy taffy?
Seems way too big. I know they say it isn't but for me it's just way huge.
When I saw this on crowdfunding I decided I wasn't interested when I saw how boring and bad the default "Murderer" is.
Looks like an advanced version of Battleships. Not interested.
Lol what mate
I’m still waiting for my shipping notification 🫠🥲
It's playable in solo mode?
I think via a app that is available. Maybe look into it on bgg?
