Here is another one where I paint unfinished cabinets. How to paint unfinished cabinets from home depot or lowes ruclips.net/video/x1w028DZEHI/видео.html
@TrueGritDevelopment My wife and I just picked up a house and are renovating it to be a rental property. The cabinets are really old but made well, and I think they can have some life put back into them. These videos will really help. Also, your video on surface mount faces was really informative!
Sweet! Yea, cabinet boxes don’t get worn out as much as the faces and I have refinished several kitchens. Keep your costs low on the rental prop, so you’re on the right track. Hopefully you build enough sweat equity and cash out refi to reinvest your $$.
I’m not sure if you will see this but I just found your videos and I wish I had before I started. I put a layer of primer on my oak cabinets already, do you think if I sand it and put sanding sealer on I will be ok?
Short answer is yes, but you don’t have to. The sealer is meant to make it easier to sand and provides a smoother finish. You can keep the primer on you will just have to sand a little more. At this stage I would not sand. However, it’s imperative to add a finish protective coat. Hope this answers your question. Pls like and share 👊🏽
Oh no, sorry you had bad results. It’s definitely not a premium paint. Honestly, the best paint I’ve used is the Sherwin-Williams emerald paint, but it’s almost $70 a gallon!
Do you have a link to the sprayer you are using?

@@TrueGritDevelopment appreciate you responding to me!
Valspar cabinet paint has been the worst. Won't use it again.
