Visualization is pretty much known and wonderful, but it has a level of limitation, because I can only visualize what I know already, it's within a certain paradigm
Visioning however is catching an idea outside of my present paradigm so that I'm making myself receiptive to the spiritual idea that the universe wants to birth through me, that I may not know about, I may be enculturated by my society, religion or whatever shit fucking conditioning, someone could achieve these apparent provisions and realize that they're still unhappy
Visioning is different, it begins with a spiritual idea, in each of everyone of us is planted a powerful destiny, a powerful unique way in which the universe wants to express itself, so instead of telling the universe what we want, we instead ask a question
what is the universes idea of my life? and we begin to catch that idea, what must I become to manifest that vision? what do I already have in my house that I can use to serve the vision? what must I let go of? what does willingness look like?
we ask a differrent kind of question
The hierarchy of questions: behind every problem, theres a question trying to ask itself(universe being progressive), behind every question, there's an answer trying to reveal itself, behind every answer, there's and action trying to take place and behind every action, there's a way of life trying to be born
the word problem comes from imblom, of the content of consciousness that's being projected onto the screen of life
because the universe is progressive, it wants me to ask a question, so if I have a problem, I have to ask a question
what is the nature of reality? of prosperity? of love?, the universe starts to answer that, after that it'll start to give me an action to take and then it'll birth itself into a way of living
so visioning begins with a question, i can ask what is gods idea of itself as my life?
if an acorn would go into the visioning process and ask this, it would begin to see an oaktree, that has never existed before, that is so unique that there'd be no other oak tree like it and it'd ask what do I need to become for this oak tree to manifest? it's gonna have to crack open and be planted under the right condition, to let go of it's smallness, to embrace the infinite field of divine possibility within its own, eventually the condition is right and it becomes an oaktree
there are things within us that we have no idea that they are even there because we've been indoctrinated by the society in which we are living, a high tech, lowtux(?) society with consumerism, materialism, fear, doubt, worry and so we visualize what we think we want to be happy, nothing wrong with that, but beyond that, theres a gift, a talent, a capacity within us all, that's trying to emerge
robert browning indicated that there's an inner splinder that's trying to escape, so the visioning process invites the inner splinder to come up, that may shock our surface mind, suprise us as to what's trying to emerge and what we must become
and now, outside of our present paradigm, the miraculous is there, something trying to happen through us so we keep growin and growing, so visualization is a stage of our spiritual growth, it teaches us to there's a lot in the universe, it's friendly, that our thoughts transmute themselve into things, that things don't 'just happen', it's a good teaching stage, but once we've become comfortable and realize that the universe is friendly, we can begin to give up control and ask a higher question and now we lose control and move into surrender, that's the big game
Thanks for writing this out!! I think he said, 'high tech, low touch' meaning we are alienated from each other too much socially and emotionally. Connection is the key to happiness, according to research, but to give just one example, 40% of people in Seattle live alone. As a social species, humans don't thrive in isolation. Isolation has been found to lead to depression, misery, and shorter life spans. Putting people in "solitary" can lead to madness and is used as an instrument of torture. So I suspect he is commenting on our need to shift a culture structured to produce so much isolation and alienation. Unlike the Germans, who work shorter work days and a 4 day work week so they can hang out with their friends and family more. They use their time to talk together and play games in pubs and social gathering places and homes. They pay higher taxes but rate higher on life satisfaction.

Yep, We got all what we need inside us, just centering, ask, go within and believe you have received what you have asked for. Visioning versus visualization - I like that idea! Very interesting that a couple of days ago I had a thought about whether a caterpillar has any idea (vision) that it will become a butterfly? Similar to what you are saying here about the acorn. Does it have a vision of it becoming an oak tree? Something interesting to ponder. I believe trees have spirits, so it might be possible that the acorn does have the vision or at least the knowing it has the potential to grow into an oak tree.
