Zowie! You are talented. Looks so real. You say you struggle with certain parts, but the tutorial does not show that. Very smooth. Thank you for sharing.
OMGOOOODNESS that is absolutely Beautiful 😍 🌊✨I’m going to give it a try I have a friend that loves the beach 🌊and her charcuterie boards🤞🏻🧀🫒thank you so much for the Fantabulous tutorial🥰
Oh, man!! I loved this video! Thank you, Michelle for the great tutorial. I’ve done resin for a long time now and I still learn so much from you! Later, y
I’m so glad I found you and this resin cutting board! Wow! It’s absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t tell that you struggled with making the waves, turned out beautifully! Now I have a question, I’ve only begun working with resin, I’ve made 4 canvases in one sitting last year but I’m wanting to make some of these for Christmas. Do you think it’s a tough project for a beginner? Also, are the recipients able to use these with food on the resin? Thanks for any help you can provide! Looking forward to following you and seeing what all you have done! Hope you to have a blessed day! ~sheryl
Beginner yes! I was a beginner when I did that video, it was one of my first boards. If you want to use food on it just use a clear layer of food safe resin for the top coat. Here’s is the one I use for food amzn.to/3BlFNjV
Wow!! This is beautiful, Michelle!! I love the glitter look! I assume the colors are listed in the description box. Can't wait to be able to order from you! Also thank you for the tip on the lintfree clothes you provided the other day!
Gorgeous!! Will try this glitter technique instead of adding color to the resin. How much would you price something like this. I never knew how to price my pieces
Hello, I think it is spectacular! I have one question. After you put the clear resin on and before you add the glitter do you use the torch to make sure there are no bubbles? Or do you use the torch after you add the glitter? Thank you so very much
I know this is 10 months old but just happened upon it cause I am studying how to do this on a table top of mine that I’m redoing. I do however watch your videos a lot. Not just this one. I love them. But my question is… if I were doing this on a wood round to use at a table and did the entire surface area as u have done on the board, should I seal the entire piece after the wave process? To make it even and protect it more?
Good evening. Could you please let me know what is the liquid used to create waves, I have tried putting acrylic in resin and it did not work out. Any alternative ways to suggest? Thank you in advance :)
Good evening :) I followed your advice regarding the pigment paste and after a few attempts the result was pretty good. However when it dries the surface looks wrinkly. Is it because i pour too much of resin? Thank you in advance:)
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Thank you for your reply! I jumped in before I got your reply. It turns out, the area that was sanded released massive and unending bubbles. I recommend to others that if you sand, add a sealer coat before the resin

Aww thank you!🥰
Your tutorial is just superb. I am so grateful to you for sharing your technique. ❤
I'm so glad you liked it!
From my POV, you can’t even tell you used glitter. It just looks like gorgeous sparkling FL water. So beautiful!
Awesome looking. Great video as always!
Thank you 🥰
This is gorgeous! And you say you're not good at making waves! You are great! Loved this.❤

I basically price by time and materials
Just thinking about getting into resin… Love this beach cutting board! Do you need to have a special kind of glitter? Thank you.
Nope! Any glitter works! 😀
Hello, I think it is spectacular!
I have one question.
After you put the clear resin on and before you add the glitter do you use the torch to make sure there are no bubbles? Or do you use the torch after you add the glitter?
Thank you so very much
You can torch as you need to , no rules on that 😊
Thank you your quick response!
Love you videos
❤️ ☺️ thank you
Does the resin create an uneven service on the board?
It is higher than the wood area yes.

Yes I would
Thank u 🙏
Can I cut on it with the epoxy on or not because I am new to epoxy resin making and want to make one for my mother and father
No I wouldn’t cut on it. It’s more for show or for a charcuterie board instead.
How come i get a resin ridge between the board and the resin no matter how i try to resolve it , theres allways a ridge
Because it will never be level with the board
How long have you been doing resin? You don't spill or make a mess. 😢😅
Less than two years 🫤
Good evening. Could you please let me know what is the liquid used to create waves, I have tried putting acrylic in resin and it did not work out. Any alternative ways to suggest?
Thank you in advance :)
I use titanium white pigment paste made by Just Resin for my waves, I find I get the best results from that brand.
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 thank you so much

It’s hard to say without seeing it 🤔
Even after sanding, I always have spots that the epoxy won’t adhere to on acacia boards. It’s so frustrating.
Yes these boards are a challenge that’s why I don’t do many 😁
Is it critical that you sand the board?
The resin will stay in place much better if you sand it, but not critical I’d say.

@@tanyacollins9003 that’s interesting because I seem to the the opposite effect 🤔
Change the music please!
This was a veryyyyy old video while I was still learning. I have gotten much better editing software since then.
