    Hi
Tip… Reduce RF gain when using BFO in order to balance up the ssb signal against the bfo level.
Like the FRG7, a knob twiddlers delight and I have both!
    Regards
    Dave G4BTI OCT 23.

I had an S750 here for repair many years ago and when I'd finished the job I didn't want to give it back, it performed very well indeed. I came across what I think must have been an EB35 in somebody's shack once, similar in appearance to the EC10 but it had VHF as well and I made an unsuccessful offer for it, although I wasn't as impressed with it as the S750 it was at least an Eddystone and I think every radio hobbyist should own at least one Eddystone in their lifetime, hope I get lucky soon.

Hi, I've just pulled one of these from my late fathers loft. It's immaculate, are they worth much?

Well that depends, more if it works, I would guess. I've seen them go in the UK for anything between £20 and £150. There are enthusiasts out there. Put it on Ebay 'for parts, no returns', but comment if it appears to work, to stop the scammers. Good luck!

I got two. Both sort of worked about ten years ago. With just a couple of feet of wire for an aerial. Didn't know what type of aerial to use. Push buttons on both are no good. I don't know what versions they are.

      Hi.
If the buttons still click in and out, problems are often due to tarnishing of the contacts. I use 'Sevisol' switch cleaner. Spray a small amount into the switch bodies so it gets onto the contacts inside, being carefull not to get any on the front tuning glass. Work the buttons in and out and several times. Be very carefull if using it on the mains, there are exposed live connections inside

I have two of similar Ed 10. Sort of work but buttons need replacing I think. Last time I played with them must be twenty od years

Nice well done video showing what it is capable of.
I am playing with a MKI (grey knobs) which I repaired 20 years ago, and is surprising how capable it is considering age and meagre power consumption (about one watt).
Nice audio and SSB absolutely fine once it stabilizes.
