Mine is just a baby so I’m wondering what are some tells when to repot & resoil her. I’ve had mine for 4 months and i was going to wait until the end of the year to do all that but it sort of seems like I may have to do that in the end of summer but I’m not entirely sure how to tell when it needs those things.
When the leaves are brown only on the tips do you just cut the tips off where it is brown with scissors?
Water once a month???... I live in Sedona az at 5000 elevation. I'm ready to chuck it and start over. It's been like 100° lately. I have my plants outdoors lately. Help
This is my third one because I’ve killed the others, they are beautiful but not sure what I’m doing wrong??? First the leaves turn yellow( so I stop watering it for a few weeks) , then they turn a very dark brown but only on half the leaves ????

Can you have these types of plants in a basement?
These plants require moderate to bright indirect light. We do not recommend placing them in a basement unless it is brightly lit with natural light.

Did you ever get answer? Neighbor gave me one and leaves are brown
@@feliciahaynes4208 its either too much water , or too little water , have to see pics to know exactly
@@feliciahaynes4208 I also got a corn stalk plant with ivy around the bottom this past mother's day from my daughter... I'm pretty sure they have different watering needs and will both have to be repotted soon.
I have had another corn stalk plant for over a year now and it's doing awesome (knock on wood) with just infrequent watering. would hate to lose my new one. hope the op got theirs figured out
Tap water causes yellowing and browning of the leaves due to its mineral and fluoride content. Use pure water and don't over do it, these plants don't require a lot of water.

Not knocking you but, making videos using anything miracle gro related on food you intend to eat, is crazy and a disclaimer of sorts should be made. Nobody should promote miracle gro usage on food crops
Not to knock you.. but you don't eat a mass cane.
