Based on Technolli's instructions I have just installed AMD 5600X, Gig X570UD, RX5700XT. Need to do a bit of work to resolve wifi and audio but I dont think they'll be show stoppers. Technolli is a Guru when it comes to speak in laypersons language.

I've used Technolli's paid services. He had provided CONSIDERABLE VALUE for the time he saved me. After receiving the equipment back, he even spent 2 hours over the telephone to make the equipment operational on my side (PCIE riser cable needed a mobo adjustment). No one works for free - and his service of putting the OSX onto a PC is cheap in my opinion and worthwhile. I recommend his services to anyone interested in having a perfectly running Hackintosh.

Also to let you know that I managed to get my system working perfectly with macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 on my Ryzen 3950x along with Asus Radeon RX 5700 XT. Most importantly to mention that sleep and wake up work now just fine, amazing right? :) used OC 0.6.4 released on the 18th of Nov and the latest 17h patches.plist file, all that on an Asus Crosshair X570 Hero WiFi. So for the records, I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO ACHIEVE THIS WITHOUT YOUR Videos. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH.
Hi mike I have one doubt for building a hackintosh for sounding dubbing studio. I have a budget constraint so I have decided to go for i5 10400 with 6C & 12T. Should I go for i7 10th gen instead? I have skipped Amd ryzen eventhough I like its performance to avoid any sort of stability issues.

IMO the service fee is more than reasonable to do the install. Saves lots of time and FRUSTRATION.. Do you need to extract the motherboard dsdt ssdt info when using open core?
help! Lol. I didn't network kext from hard drive efi thinking I can exchange it for the correct one. Got a halting critical error. Then I thought I come just do a clean install but it's not letting me boot from USB without giving me the same error. Need to erase drive but can get pass this

Haven't managed to get ethernet or wifi on my strix b550-f gaming wifi working but luckily I have an OWC usb-c dock that is handling ethernet for the meantime. Very cool! Thank you!

I didn't realize when HighSierra was released, there was no i9. I need to make the machine ID iMac19,1. GenSMBIOS will correct my config.plist but my "About This Mac" is not updating. Is reinstalling the SMBIOS a possibility once it has already been done? Thank you.

@TechNolli Thinking of buying a prebuilt EFI from you after watching so many of your excellent builds. My 9900k build via clover is mostly golden jpg preview issues and shutdown always reboots...not clover suggested fixes never work. Hoping to move to OC via your EFI. Q1. Do I simply replace my existing EFI with the technoli version or do I have to do a full install to match it? Q2. Will kexts added from my many clover builds in /Library/extentions be a problem? Q3 how do I determine which ones (if any) to remove?
Re. Q1; Mixing Clover installs with Open Core doesn't work. Replacing the EFI folders will not work because you already have, but should NOT use, ANY Clover kexts installed in S/L/E or L/E. There is a page on the Open Core site regarding Clover conversion. It is not worth the effort, IMHO. A fresh OC install is the best way to go.
You're welcome and let me know how it goes. I'm somewhat 'experienced' with hacintoshing, (pre-Chimera through Clover). Open Core is the next one to learn.

I followed this exact guide for my ASUS Rog Strix X570-E and I got everything working like a charm, except for one little thing: On windows, my Internet connection is 75Mbps DOWN 91Mbps UP but on Catalina for some reason my Internet Speeds Aren't any Good (10Mbps Down 11Mbps UP). Do you have any Idea on why does this happen? I Only installed SmallTree for Ethernet. This issue is happening with my external TP LINK ARCHER T9 uh and also with Itlwm :(. Please help, willing to pay for the time :(
Good morning, TechNolli I have original mac and reinstall the operating system mac os mojave last update on an external hard drive western digital blue of a tera (I have a digital western RED of a tera also to perform the clean installation on that too) and it works by booting from the macbook air 2017 device that hard drive I want to run the disk either on my Intel NUC Kit NUC8i5BEH Intel Core i5-8259U or in my pc with RYZEN 3600 and with an MSI X570 GAMING PLUS with GRAPHIC SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON RX 580 8GB GDDR5 I want to make them boot from those pcs since I do not know if I have to change the efi folder to boot from the nuc or I have to install clover only since the system is a clean system for mac as I hope you understand my comment. Mate i just installed 10.13.6 with 3900x and gtx 1070 with opencore , all is good but i cannot install webdrive for nvidia , can you pls guide me somewhere that i can learn? I tried to download it with terminal with bash command link but after that i couldnt load into macos anymore,so i did recovery install and can boot again, but dont know what todo from here :) Who cares about haters btw:)

@@zweiche Yes the 5700 will be plug and play. Stay away from MSI. I would go for Gigabyte or Shapphire. The only better card is Radeon Vii but too expensive!

The hoses on the radiator should be at the bottom. Putting them at the top will allow the pump to suck in air and possibly damage the pump

It is very simply. Get your macOS installed. Then leave the bios settings the same as for the macOS and install Windows on a separate drive.

This one works. Very easy to setup using an Aorus Pro X570, 3700x and an RX 580 GPU. Lovely!

Is the ASUS TUF 3-RX5700XT- O8G-GAMING Compatible with Hackintosh ? i find out great deal on it ? or should i just go for sapphire or gigabyte?
I think It should be compatible but you'll need to install using a different GPU and then remove the WhateverGreen kext + Apply OC Snapshot.

@TechNolli Thinking of buying a prebuilt EFI from you after watching so many of your excellent builds. My 9900k build via clover is mostly golden jpg preview issues and shutdown always reboots...not clover suggested fixes never work. Hoping to move to OC via your EFI. Q1. Do I simply replace my existing EFI with the technoli version or do I have to do a full install to match it? Q2. Will kexts added from my many clover builds in /Library/extentions be a problem? Q3 how do I determine which ones (if any) to remove?
Re. Q1; Mixing Clover installs with Open Core doesn't work. Replacing the EFI folders will not work because you already have, but should NOT use, ANY Clover kexts installed in S/L/E or L/E. There is a page on the Open Core site regarding Clover conversion. It is not worth the effort, IMHO. A fresh OC install is the best way to go.

I followed this exact guide for my ASUS Rog Strix X570-E and I got everything working like a charm, except for one little thing:
On windows, my Internet connection is 75Mbps DOWN 91Mbps UP but on Catalina for some reason my Internet Speeds Aren't any Good (10Mbps Down 11Mbps UP).
Do you have any Idea on why does this happen? I Only installed SmallTree for Ethernet.
This issue is happening with my external TP LINK ARCHER T9 uh and also with Itlwm :(.

Good morning, TechNolli I have original mac and reinstall the operating system mac os mojave last update on an external hard drive western digital blue of a tera (I have a digital western RED of a tera also to perform the clean installation on that too) and it works by booting from the macbook air 2017 device that hard drive I want to run the disk either on my Intel NUC Kit NUC8i5BEH Intel Core i5-8259U or in my pc with RYZEN 3600 and with an MSI X570 GAMING PLUS with GRAPHIC SAPPHIRE PULSE RADEON RX 580 8GB GDDR5 I want to make them boot from those pcs since I do not know if I have to change the efi folder to boot from the nuc or I have to install clover only since the system is a clean system for mac as I hope you understand my comment. Congratulations with the videos you make.
I know they are for compatible devices and hardware both the nuc and the pc mounted by me.
What I'm really asking you is if they worked by changing the efi without just formatting the disc.

OpenCore 0.62 didn't work for me. Upgraded, everything booted fine, but the system froze completely about 1 minute after logging in.
i heard that ryzen hackintosh even its look working its not as smooth as intel. is that true?
Mate i just installed 10.13.6 with 3900x and gtx 1070 with opencore , all is good but i cannot install webdrive for nvidia , can you pls guide me somewhere that i can learn? I tried to download it with terminal with bash command link but after that i couldnt load into macos anymore,so i did recovery install and can boot again, but dont know what todo from here :)

@@zweiche Yes the 5700 will be plug and play. Stay away from MSI. I would go for Gigabyte or Shapphire. The only better card is Radeon Vii but too expensive!

Mike, My guess is that people who don't like you selling EFI's wish they had come up with the idea first. You make wonderful teaching videos on how to make EFI's. I don't understand any objection to your monetizing what you do. Keep up the work. Stay safe. Stay Healthy.

Careful that the latest AMD kernel patches have broken the hdmi audio output. You need the ones from a week back ;)
