what do you think about instead of underhooking the croch area, putting the forearm across the hip? I ask because in jiujitsu they can crucifix off of the firemans carry

I feel like quitting wrestling and playing basketball because I think basketball is more fun. Also I dont want to do wrestling in college but, I dont want to let down the wrestling team and coaches because I have the highest chance of winning my state section and making state. What is your advice because if I decide to do wrestling I'm gonna commit 100 percent in highschool and do all this wrestling workouts and go to morning practicees and work on technique. But i dont want to know if I want to do it because basketball is my passion.
    So what should I do

Most wrestlers have low knees that help in Scramble situations . Bball players and boxers usually have high knees which aid in hopping around and an increase in reach . Although high school is the time to experiment and try new things , sounds like you have already found your main sport .
