Good to know about the Teraflex ball joints. I'm installing them on my 2021 JLU Diesel

Thank you for watching. The only complaint I have was that they would not adjust for me as they are supposed to. Otherwise, good joints.

My 3.5 year old Teraflex ball joints are needing replaced as well. I tried adjusting the preload but the shop installed them with all 3 set screws in but they’re backwards since I have RCVs and you can’t access one of the set screws now. I’ll check out the dynatrack ones.

I initially tried to adjust my teraflex ball joints and was very disappointed that the set screws stripped so easily. I'm not so sure that I would ever buy them again. At least with the intent of ever making any adjustment. Thanks for watching!

I might give the a try the next time I need ball joints . I like the rebuildable aspect of them .

The rebuildable and tough part were the draw.

FYI These ball joints are not compatible with RCV ( Teraflex site fitment tab) or 1410 Ujoints axle setups. Zerk fitting will contact the flange on the axle during a turn.

      The Teraflex or Dynatrac?

Dynatrac due to they have a snap ring for the upper ball joint.

Why were your set screws stripped out? I have had zero issues with mine so far. 2015 Rubicon, 1997 ZJ and 1997 XJ all wheeled in Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear

Dunno. I've never touched them until I tried to loosen them. Of the 6, I got 1 loose. The rest were stripped.

These should be lifetime warranty. You should contact Teraflex and see if they would warranty for you. They have been great in the past with stuff like this.

You're absolutely right but, I don't plan to use them again.
