So Scott , I'm learning to do my own bass set up's Woo Hoo. Got some tools kinda scary at first , but then I started turning wrenches and it was all good.
@@ScottWhitley I dont expect you gonna answer and so soon. I really want to ask you for a tip to make pinch harmonics. I'm learning bass, but I like to play with distorsion, a lot haha. Habe you another video about this. Can I make it with out a hold hair (sorry my english, I'm from Argentina) I dont know much people who understand what I'm trying to do with my bass. I buy a used Revenge BC Rich. Thanks to you Scott 🤗🎸⚡
Great video Scott, must try that one day (but first have to steal a scrunchy from the wife...;)) I always use the thumb of my plucking hand to mute and picking the string with the index and/or middle finger to produce these harmonics, but this sounds amazing as well.
Cheers, Jouke. I use a similar technique to you except I use different fingers (1st finger to touch the harmonic point and pinky to pluck). This trick is way more random but equally inspiring I reckon. Definitely a lot of fun.
I have been watching your bass lesson videos since 2014 until I became an advanced bass player. I am also one of the Filipino Bass Players featured in Davie504's video.

Oh wow - very cool on all fronts, Albert!! Many thanks for being a part of my journey and I'm honoured to have been a part of your journey.
Scott.
How can we play Pinched Harmonics without that trick/cheat?
Thanks.
That's for another video, Rodrigo. :)
@@ScottWhitley Many thanks, Scott!
I'll make sure it's on my to-do list
I guess this hair tie does'nt belong to you Scott! 😀 (not mine too as a almost bold head man)
Nice trick , by the way.
Haha - you're correct there. I had to "pinch" (there I go again lol) it from Mrs Whitley... :)
Thanks!
What a great little tip, only problem is my wife thinks I am going "funny" because I want her scrunhy.
Thanks, Mike!! Haha - I could be responsible for quite a few raised eyebrows here lol!
Cool gimmick. Who’da thunk?!
Cheers, John! I know - fun stuff. :)
