    Another year, another Local Barley. Enjoy!

    This bottle is identical to Local Barley 2020, 100% sherry in terms of distillate month, year, barley type and farm. So to answer your question about possibility of getting an older release, this is the older release. Local Barley 2020 bottles were also around 8500.

    Been trying to hunt this down, looks like it might be the first one I'll miss out of the last three years (can't complain much I guess), but can't bring myself to pay $500-600 for the pleasure on this one. Thanks for the solid content as always guys!

    Great review. I liked this one better than last year’s 11. Much richer and more complex, especially with water. Delicious whisky!

    Thanks for this review fellas! I'm patiently waiting for this to show up here in Wisconsin. I definitely want one or two bottles. I've been luck the past few years here. However the prices are becoming difficult to justify sadly. All-in-all cheers to whatever Springbank you can find now🥃👍

    Guessing this is around $250 to 275. Being a sherry and bourbon finished, guess I would pick-up one if I saw it on the shelf. CHEERS!!

    • @topshelfdustin3060
      @topshelfdustin3060 3 месяца назад +4

      I wouldn't expect it to be any higher than what you saw on the last few releases. Their hasn't been further price increases on these thankfully. And I haven't heard much hype on this beyond the lower bottle count. But yeah...that's a fair range.

      @topshelfdustin3060 2 years ago the LB 10 year (100% bourbon) was 200 here. Thought they would go up a bit for the 13 year.

    Got to taste through the whole LB range (obviously less the 13) in the Washback Bar at Springbank last year. Highly recommend - fascinating. 16 stood out, but one of the 10s and the 11 were close. Cheers as always.

      The first 10 and first 11 imo are up there. Sadly don't have the 16 or the first 11. But they were stunners. The recent releases are still good but they're starting to have me questioning the prices.
