Juna! Again we bow to your Rossness (Bob). Great video and process. Never considered Canva and you made it look easy! Gotta try and will let you know. You are such an unsung hero that I hope everyone really appreciates. All this takes time and energy and most folks keep success to themselves. Much love and continued successes.
Thank you so so much for bring that type of videos. We need more canva design tutorials like your other design videos. Keep it up. 😘❤️❤️ We are always with you. 👌🔥
Just starting my tshirt adventure but I only use Canva, it’s easy and I’ve been using for my other business for a few years. You did show things I didn’t think of, great tutorial!
HOLY CRAP!! I use Canva all the time and didn't know you could use some elements from the templates. I thought you had to keep the text. This is great information.
Love Canva! You can make your text 3D too if you want. I have done animated e-cards through Canva, a gif. They turned out great. Have also done cards and logos, banners, cover photos, and profile images. The possibilities are endless and so easy. Thanks for the video. Love watching you design!
Thanks again for upload. You used the flip, yay.. I have also done simple play on words for happy christmas, different niche.. Hope we all get sales doing our thing..
Hi 👋 when you have a font with a drop shadow and you like the font but not the drop effect just go to effects and click in none and it will stay just the normal font
Fantastic video! If I get designs from Canva, what if someone else has the same design as I do? Would I still be able to do the t-shirt? If I can't, is there a way to see what type of design others have so I won't duplicate it?
There are so many fonts and so many graphics you can make something super original that no one would have thought of... and if someone has something similar make something else
Hello, on the Christmas hat where you chose the same color as background, is it now transparent? Or will it be printed in the red color you had chosen. I am wondering if it will show up on the T-shirts since you are not using the exact color T-shirt as the background on Canva.
Great question... Your are right, it will not automatically be gone when you select transparent background...you will have to remove anything red to make this design fully transparent.
Hi Juna. Thank you for your helpful tutorials been watching and learning with you for the last few months. I opened a Redbubble shop this Sept 25. I make all my designs using canva pro. I had two sales so far. Sold a T shirt for Halloween and other for Fiji niche. Thank you once again 🙂
Thank you so much for this video! I am having an issue with my white text disappearing when I erase my background. Any suggestions (from anyone) would be so helpful :)
Hi, I'm using canva pro to design and then upload to redbubble. I'm missing something....the black letters stay black when I try to print on to black t shirts. If I use white lettering I can't see them when I turn the background transparent. Ideas?
lets say i took a picture from canva so did someone else and post it before me so if i post that picture with different text will i have copywrite problem ??
You could... that's why it's better to take multiple graphics and make your own design... then the likelyhood of someone having the same design is super low
Hi, Juna! Thanks for another great video! Quick question: Why do you upload to other countries when Amazon is doing auto-uploads to the other countries? Seems I’m missing something here. Thank you!😃
Hello sir I'm new to your channel and I want to start doing business with tshirts in order to have add income as a student. I just want to know how did you add the design to the tshirt. Did you made it on merch amazon only??
I like Merch by Amazon the best but..you can sign up to a POD shop like RedBubble, TeePublic or Merch by Amazon or any of the many others. Once you are signed up you can start adding your PNG file to any of the products they have. It's super simple.
June, Question, as a first time Amazon Merchant seller how should I go about verifying the quality of the material that will be used for the products (ie. tshirt, hoodie etc.) Thanks, Maure
Can I use the same with redbubble without take off the background and keep it For example red or black or white and it will still the same in my design, please I'm waiting for your answer , I have more than six months in this domain without any sales I want to have my first one 😑😑😑😑
It will look very weird if you don't take off the background for tshirts. You will see a colored rectangle and no one wants that on their tshirt. You would get NO SALES. Sorry
Hi there! Thank you so much for your honest videos. I was wondering what you do about the dpi being incorrect (120 I think) from Canva when submitting to Merch by Amazon (which requires 300 dpi). Thank you.
Can we use the pro images for print on demand products? Because what I see is that you picked free images for POD. If the pro images are not allowed to use in POD, so what is the purpose to subscribe for pro license?
@@DetourShirts not true. You need to hit those three little dots on the top of the images and then you can see the creative license allowed. Most of the free images you can’t use for commercial sales.
I don't but I would, like I said in the video, mix a bunch of things together to make your design your own. That way the chances of someone getting the exact design like you would be very very small.
@@DetourShirts Yey! Thank you for the response. I'd like to raise another concern. Is it okay that the same design that we upload in Merch by Amazon will be uploaded to RedBubble or other sites? Thank you for your help. 🙏
You can upload the same designs... just know some will do better on one platform versus the other... you top sellers on one may be different on the other... it's because each platform has a different audience
Juna I dont think that transparent background is a free effect or is upsizing pixels to 4500x5400. I tried it on a design and those features did not work. today is 2/14/22
Transparent background on Canva is not FREE but you can use preview or Photopea to do it.... You can't upsize but you can start you design at a bigger size....I started my design at 4500x5400
You can set the price and see how much you get for royalties.... For example if you sell a standard t-shirt for $20.99 on Amazon you get to keep $5.63. Amazon keeps the rest
You lose me with "free Canva". Canva is the best for newbies but they are really cheap and never have anything free. You can't download transparent background without some crazy steps and other tools. Wondering if I need to finish watching.
I think it's a great start for those who don't want to spend any money at first to test and try things out.... but I agree Canva Pro has a ton more stuff and I much rather use Pro than FREE

You can remove the drop shadow effect on the text by going under “effects” option and deselecting it.

Yes... sorry I really should say both

Yes, it supposed to be... although I think you should make designs look very different for others

How do you remove the red background on your design ??
You can do it in Photopea.... I have a few videos on it
How do you save it to put it on a tshirt
Export or download as PNG and make sure to remove the background either with the pro version or with photopea
Does Canva allow kerning? Cluckmas really needs it. The space between the letters “U” and “L” is too wide!
I haven't checked... I will try to see if I can do some kerning
You can adjust letter spacing for whole word but I just put word in two or three parts and adjust myself
