FHY I’ve been binge watching your tutorials all day and learned the most ever!!! I never been so excited to watch from beginning to ending without saying hurry up. 😳I thoroughly enjoy watching your whole explanation and straight the point style.
Thank you Juna, for a really thorough video! I'm always learning more about Affinity Designer, and I no longer have to stop your videos and re-play frame-by-frame. I'm definitely getting more comfortable with Affinity Designer, from watching your videos and playing around on my own. Also can feel my designs improving, too!
Thanks Juna, great video. I get a lot of inspiration from conversations, reading books and generally things I like to do. Sometimes colour themes too, a picture or pattern will pop into my head. Pinterest can help a lot with reference. Oh and I watch your videos for technique, layout and font ideas. You also should have a lot more subscribers
Hi Juna! I've watched this video again after a year, and it's still helpful. Regarding your Question of the Day, lately I've been getting design inspiration from Pinterest. Thanks again for this great design tutorial! (And BTW, I miss the "fist bump" at the beginning of the videos! 😂)
As usual Juna, excellent tutorial, thanks. Your designs always turn out great. This video sparked a few ideas in my head, thanks. Oh btw, did you remove the PNG background in AD? If you did can you please show us how, thanks!
Awesome! Thank you! For this one I removed the background in Preview... but my newest video shows how to remove it in AD... It works out amazingly well
Glitter letters... ohhhh... I'll have to check on that... sounds amazing... one thing to note though Amazon does not like you to use glitter, gold, silver, shiny or anything similar because their printers can not reproduce that kind of effect
I use diviantart they normally have dope brushes but I enjoy using paths on pictures I find on the internet but tweek it as I design I keep the structure but the details like color , eyes and shape of the ears and hands I normally just freestyle cause doing them exactly like in the picture is hard there will be shadows under the chin I won't mimick either or a hairstyle I won't mimick but just do a freestyle of hair I like etc

Hi Juna, When uploading designs to different sites, how do I make sure the design will be sized to fit the tshirt space like I want it? For instance, sometimes I have designs not created using the POD measurements, but it's an SVG, which should stretch to fit. Do I need to make sure the size is exact when I upload it? Thanks for the great videos!
Hello brother, you said something in the video abour being able to use free icons in canva. Theres no copyright issue there? Im currently starting out and this would help me out. Thanks for your time and keep these videos coming 😆
awesome video man. Question, should beginners start with a single store and create trending t shirt designs or should we have a niche store then sells only t-shirts of that particular niche?
There are pros and cons to both... I believe it's easier to figure out what works for you if you do a single store with multiple niches and styles so that you can figure out what works for you faster.
@@DetourShirts hi Juna, I meant from when you exported it from Canva, it came with a background right? How did you remove that? Also, the white fist, how do I just color each finger separately? I've always wanted to learn how
@@fabiGBOtown Sorry... I removed the background with the Preview app on my Mac... I think I showed how to do it in one of my first Canva videos.... I don't know how to color each finger yet but I'll see what I learn in the future.
I was me 600 likes! I am your subscriber. I have now about 30 listings up but no sales. What should I do? Can you make a video of how to make a design with a text raws that looks like waves. This is a great seller. How can I make my own design?
I really like canva, but even with the pro account, there are things that I still find a little frustrating. The biggest issue I've come across is that there's no way to make the graphic not transparent. Like if I have a graphic of a rose and I want to layer it on top of another graphic, I can still see part of the graphic underneath. I wish I could at least edit the graphic by erasing parts of it as needed, but I haven't seen a way to do that. I'm assuming that's at least part of the reason you use a different editor once you've found the graphics that you like. I might end up looking into that myself.
Are you talking about graphic fonts? Yes, you can.... If you just try to use regular fonts you won't be able to pull them into Affinity Designer and just use them.... Affinity Designer will try to see if you already have the font and if you don't it will ask you what font you want to use instead.
So for the Canva art I just saved them as PDFs and opened them in Affinity Designer... When you bring them in you just select the background in the layers panel and delete the background. When exporting an Affinity file (at the end) make sure to just delete the black background on the layers panel as well. Export with the selection only and you should be good.
I am usually searching on google for design ideas. Which platform is best for searching ideas for trending topics? Advance Thank you for your kind cooperation.
Depends on the platform you are selling... each POD site has a slightly different audience so I would check for what is selling best on the POD site you are on.
Thanks....That may be true.... like I said in the video, this tutorial is NOT how to find trends or the right words more about the brainstorming and coming up with a design once you find a good niche or topic.... don't use this phrase or any phrase that is trademarked or copyrighted.
