    I really like canva, but even with the pro account, there are things that I still find a little frustrating. The biggest issue I've come across is that there's no way to make the graphic not transparent. Like if I have a graphic of a rose and I want to layer it on top of another graphic, I can still see part of the graphic underneath. I wish I could at least edit the graphic by erasing parts of it as needed, but I haven't seen a way to do that. I'm assuming that's at least part of the reason you use a different editor once you've found the graphics that you like. I might end up looking into that myself.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  2 года назад +1

      Yes... the only way to remove part of a graphic is the crop tool and sometimes that isn't enough

    Are you allowed to use fonts / fonts with fills from Canva and put them in Affinity Designer to modify or use with graphics?

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  2 года назад

      Are you talking about graphic fonts? Yes, you can.... If you just try to use regular fonts you won't be able to pull them into Affinity Designer and just use them.... Affinity Designer will try to see if you already have the font and if you don't it will ask you what font you want to use instead.

      So for the Canva art I just saved them as PDFs and opened them in Affinity Designer... When you bring them in you just select the background in the layers panel and delete the background. When exporting an Affinity file (at the end) make sure to just delete the black background on the layers panel as well. Export with the selection only and you should be good.
