MC Escher totally SCREWS with my mind....in the most awesome way possible. You can look at his pictures and seriously go insane if you're not careful. He really makes you think when viewing his art. Amazing decades later!!!
Great choice of music. A beautiful, haunting Chopin Nocturne that was published posthumously. One of my favorites, so charming in it's simplicity and appeal. The Vivaldi is very fitting as well.
For those who are Esher fans .There is a permanent Escher Museum in the city of The Hague ( the Netherlands) Located In the old 'Paleis Voorhout ('small 'ex -royal palace ). Beside his original work, there are some rooms hallways, 3d projections/movies etc blend in, to mimic Esher's reality'. It's P. S For those who want to heighten the experience, a few coffeeshops are within a 2 minute walk ....;-)
@@korsbuters4817 ja ik ben erg trots op het Haagse Escher Museum .Iedere keer als ik bezoek heb van iemand uit een ander land , sleur ik ze mee naar dit museum 😅
Thoroughly enjoyed this brief introduction and especially appreciate the Chopin nocturne in the back ground. Thanks for uploading. I can never cease to be fascinated by Escher's art. Would love to see his works in person someday.
Highly admired this language of balance & mastery. With a punch of mystery! Believe he motivated me on my blacks & whites I did long ago. I see him as an amazing and enigmatic artist born way before his time!!! 🌷⭐️
MC Escher was a unique genius on the planet Earth. Incomparable and discoverer. He was very unique as an artist and did not imitate any other artist. MC Escher I already found in countless books. Often as an enclosed inspiration of an article. MC Escher is immortal. He will still be remembered when we are all dead and forgotten.
If you have an opportunity to view Escher's works in person - jump at the chance!! Some of the pieces are much larger than what fits in a book!! LOVE his mathematical mind!!
It is a wonderful story that Penrose communicated with Escher about "Improbable" spaces from the first Escher prints. Escher gave Penrose some original prints of his earlier prints. Their different worlds were combined. Escher went on to make more examples of "Improbability". Escher's work may lead us to a dimension we have not found so far!
Damn! I'm italian and i cannot understand very well what this man said!... But i'm trying! :'(( This is one of the most interesting video i've ever seen on youtube! Tnks for uploading!
I was thinking about art and math together. This video explains and demonstrates a lot of things that interest me. I have enjoyed tessellations, for instance.
Could there be a correlation between MC Escher and e=mc2? Silly idea, . . . isn't it? But, isn't it sometimes the silliest or simplest idea that deserves the greatest deal of credit for possibly opening doors to broader perspectives?
The last 2 minute and 36 seconds of this video seem to deal with the clear light -- the place where all creativity and art come from -- the deep well from whence all thought arises -- the tabula rasa where individual ideas are born without built-in mental content and that therefore all knowledge comes from subjective experience or perception -- the unified field where all matter and energy are held in a state of constantly departing while always arriving (as per Laurie Anderson).
M. C. Escher said he, "never got a passing mark in math". He was an artist pure and simple, the math of it didn't interest him, it's not what he was trying to express. Ever. Always remember - art came first. Neolithic art is the origin of all writing - including math. In the words of Marjane Satrapy (Persepolis) "The first writing of the Human Being was drawing, not writing". That's what Escher understood on a level a non-artist simply won't get. You have to know the first things to understand at all.
This is what people say who have no glue that humans have the perfect capability to evolve spiritually without resorting to comfortable crutches. Do you really believe that Yogis who don't have to eat anymore, or Rishis which had supernatural powers need such kids drugs? Our body produces all of this stuff itself so don't wait to be spiritually fed like an infant, but grow into a higher consciousness yourself !
I'm well versed in the Golden Angle and Fibonacci numbers, and have studied the work of MC Escher intensely. You claim this video to be " not exactly true ". Could you please elaborate on your " interpretation " of the inaccuracy ?

Yes, these are all very cool!
Out of body experience from a mathematical genius from Holland 🇳🇱
I enjoyed all of it except the last few minutes
Great art work, attractive narrative voice, and beautiful music.
Maybe the blank part after around 8:16 should be cut out.
but then how hell get revenue from 2 ads?
Chopin - Nocturne No. 20 in C Sharp Minor, Op. Posth.
Vivaldi - "Summer" Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 8 Allegro non molto
Very well done! Why leave the end without editing...
Illiminating. Thank you.
