A list of 25 things nobody missed in Cobra Kai season 3.
I mean your not wrong at all....
@@yk_Its_jax yeah, what he was saying is 25 things the kids watching the show now may have missed, not the old fucks who watched the "source materal" in cinemas with no surround, VHS and tv back in the 20th century.
@@fuuz642 so this video was meant for kids with ADHD and medicated millennials? Silly me for thinking we were all meant to enjoy it.
@@wadebrashear7517 no one stops you from enjoying whatever you may want to enjoy mate.
No need to get grumpy on me
@@fuuz642 no grumpiness here, sorry that came across as snarky. If I take issue with anyone, it's the content creators.
The karate gi worn by Miguel's opponent in the coma dream is from the dojo that was founded by the stunt coordinator's father. There's an actual Easter egg for you.
That's the first actual Easter egg I didn't already know, well done!!
I've seen people saying that, The name will be the new name of Daniel/Johnny's dojo
@@DatBoiChris420 Miyag Fang-Do?
idk if this is actually true but I saw that style of karate focused on coma techniques or something like that. Just like the coma miguel was in.
Daniel Larusso was the main actor in the past karate kid movies. Now it’s Johnny’s time to shine!! Cobra Kai is so well put together and Johnny is such a great main actor!!!
The main actor is Miguel but k
@@classic8901 I’m just saying that Johnny should get more screen time then Larusso

"Look closely enough at Tori's sweater"- bruh its on the entire sweater
Exactly I was looking at that
Fax yo
Mind blowing
To be fair though it's not Tori's sweater most guys are focusing on when she enters a room.
Are these really Easter eggs, when they explicitly state most of these while also showing flashbacks of the previous movies?
Lol ikr
25 things you missed if you weren't looking at the screen during Cobra Kai Season 3.
IMAOOO
When Cobra Kai (VERY VERY VERY VERYYYY ILLEGALLY) intrudes Larusso’s home....
11:48 Johny was reading the same book when he was taking photos for Ally
Lord of the Flies is about boys turning savage on an island. Robbie was in prison where the boys also turn savage. It's not that hard to understand guys.
It's borderline cliche at this point. The people making these videos are meatballs.
When you rewatch Karate kid you notice that Johnny was never actually rude. He only reacted to Daniel when he did something to him. Also when Daniel sprays water on Johnny it had been months since Johnny had even seen Daniel so Daniel was just being a dick. Johnny overreacted to everything Daniel did though.
Edit: Yes John did overreact to everything that was going on, but in the beginning of the movie Danny hit Johnny first and Johnny overreacted and hit Danny more than needed. That can also be due to his sensei telling him that there is no mercy.
You are right, except for when he pushes him off a cliff lol that was unprovoked

I would say that *Daniel* is the master at catching flies. Miyagi tried it for years before he was able to do it, but Daniel caught one literally on his first try, much to Miyagi-san's consternation.
if it was an illegal kick, the referee would have said so in the match, but he didn't.
Therese things are only missed if you haven’t watched the show. You’re simply describing the show. Jebus.
Your Profile picture scares me
It’s not an illegal kick. Johnny kicked at least three other people in the face in the same tournament
Not only that but Johnny struck below the belt which was supposedly illegal. I believe in the tournament, Johnny was penalized for striking below the belt.
Daniel is the Karate Kid. Is Johnny in part 2 or 3? No, Daniel is. I rest my case.
Did you seriously call Johnny, Danny? 💀💀💀 Johnny smashes the car window not Danny.
Lol I caught that to. Means someone doesn't check their video before upload.
@4:14
Caught that too!
Not surprised since this entire video is base on the simplest of moments in the show. Very little work was put into it
Thank you inwas like wtf
uhm, daniel also honked chosen's nose in the movie eons ago which they flash back to in the series. lol
Anyone else catch them saying it was Daniel that punched through the car window 😂😂
Lord of the flies could be a reference to kids going crazy and trying to grow up too early
I love how the head contact is only illegal when it applies to Daniel. Johnny literally kicks Daniel in the face(or at least attempts to) right after he sweeps the leg. He also strikes and attempts to strike him in the face(both punches and kicks) multiple times and let's not forget HE LITERALLY TRIED TO BREAK DANIEL'S LEG!! So maybe it's not a great idea to get hung up on the legality of the crane kick.
I just watched kk1 today. When Daniel and Ali arrived at the tournament, she stated anything above the waist is legal. She had a book in her hand that she appeared to be reading from so it was legal
4:14 gotta love when daniels trainer kreese broke the window*
The guy that looked exactly like Terry silver in the Vietnam War backstory could have been Terry silver and the guy that also has the last name silver could've been his brother
Daniel wasn't the bully that is a joke.. One thing with bullies is they always pick on the weak.. So unless you are saying Johnny was weak....
Technically, they were both Karate Kids in 84, since at that time they were both kids who knew karate, but none of them is a Karate Kid anymore, because of their age.
How Cobra Kai Could Be Setup A Mister Miyagi Prequel Series On Netflix
4:13 Did you just say "Daniel" punched through the car window?
It was Johnny 😅
i love how u put iroh in tea party fits in to well
I think them coming together is making the "real" Karate kid. I think it was put perfect when Ali brought up they are more alike than they think and sometimes they focus on the things they dont like... or something to that point. I really like how you can see Daniel doesn't have it all together. Damn good show.
On the "illegal kick": The referee announces Daniel the winner and who would know more about what's allowed and what's not. Also, does Johnny really have a leg to stand on when he made illegal contact with Daniel's knee right before that? It's alright to despise Daniel, but don't be a hypocrit.
no only that but in the movie they even say kicked to the head are ok, which lines up with the normal tournament rules in real life back then kick to the head were legal punching to the face is illegal. sad thing is the guy that doing the referee in the movie was a real referee in karate so that guy know even more that it was not illegal kick.
@@donaldcurry1020 Ref, martial arts master, stunt coordinator, choreographer... Pat E. Johnson was one helluva guy to have on set I'm sure. 😄👍
KARATE KID III ref states "light contact to the face is allowed" so maybe the debate is older than we know.
Everyone missed two hidden Easter eggs here in episode 5 and 10. Yes, the scroll was never opened. Japanese karate lores origins stemmed from China Kung fu. It consist of dragon, praying mantis, crane and tiger technique. Chozen showed Daniel the praying mantis technique when praying mantis in nature disables their pray in nature naturally. The scroll contains the dragon technique which will tie in to the new dojo's name. Second Easter egg is on the end credits in episode 10 when you will hear a familiar tune from a famous Nintendo game back in 1987 called double dragon. Look at the similarities of the characters in that game and compare it to Johnny and Daniel. It is spot on. The new name of the combined dojo will be double dragon-do or DDD.
this is a great show!
11:09 "look closely at Tori's sweater..." no need to tell me, lol
Yeah. No kidding. Wowza! (Wait.....umm...age....TWENTY TWO? Swell...all good then!)
@@loujaffee9125 yeah don't worry, I looked it up lol (the only minor in the cast is Dimitri)
I think Sam’s Jacket in the last fight also looks like the Jacket Daniel wore in the first movie hers just has more colors than just that deep maroon color his had
COBRA KAK NEVER DIES
How could we miss the typhoon girl? They actually showed the clip in a flashback as soon as she showed up🙄
I just binge watched the three seasons, and I hate that Season 2 is just a teenage drama. I really dislike Sam as a character, she’s just so plane and basic.
Agree. Season 2 was Karate 90210 teen angst. Season 3 leaps and bounds better. BRING ON SEASON 4 AND TERRY SILVER.
@@loujaffee9125 hopefully season 4 is more like season 1!
Going to start re watching
It may be an illegal kick, doesn't make him a bad guy as long as he doesn't know it's illegal - he's just a kid doing what he learned from his sensei 🤷🏽
Not an illegal kick...
“Anything above the belt is legal and scores a point”.
However, Daniel was definitely an instigator and still is!!!
There’s no such thing as bad student, only bad student. Having said that, get him a body bag....yeeeeah!
@@jm7967 Yeah, I don't like the way he acts as an adult... That's another story altogether
If anything above the waist is allowed why is the kick ilegal then?
@@EduarFilms No clue 🤷♀️ I assumed if it is discussed this passionately, both sides must have their points. I'm not educated in the field though
Totally legal! After all Johnny's dirty tricks, he is going to blame his loss on a legality? Seriously?
He got warnings for all his dirty tricks, Daniel won the match. Do you think that’s fair?
@@andrewaitken2404 Anything above the waist is legal.
@@andrewaitken2404 Daniel would've got a warning but it was the winning point
3 minutes in the video : when the f are you gonna speak about the things I missed in s3.....
Yeah we totally missed these
Yesss cobra kai
The one thing that makes Johnny Lawrence The Bully if not the way you was towards Daniel it's the way he was toward alley at the very first scene of the movie
You missed that (spoilers be damned) Tommy was the character who referenced a body bag in the first Karate Kid, and when we last see him, after the camping trip with the original Cobras, he's getting zipped into a body bag. I think that's the most brilliant Easter Egg of all.
Well, the actor himself was dying.
@@PegasusPablo True, but the fact that they sent Tommy off that way is a great tribute to the actor and the work he did in the first movie.
After rewatching the original movies, 2 points that in my opinion clearly settle the kick to the face debate. 1: In The Karate Kid Alli tells Daniel the rules of the tournament and how to score a point for every hit above the waist. She never says contact to the face is illegal. 2: It isn't until The Karate Kid 3 that anyone mentions face contact. Daniel first mentions it being illegal to Terry. Then the referee mentions it at the tournament. So clearly the rules were changed.
If Yuna is the Senior Vice President of sale at Doyona, I find it odd she was not at the initial meeting.
Shhh shhhh shhhhh
Maybe not. They were severing their ties with Laruso so no need to have the VP there. They were polite but no need to have the heavyweights in the room to say bye bye. Of course I don't really know Japanese culture well enough. But they were polite and said "Ja Ne"
If you ain't cheating you ain't trying.
Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy.
Daniel should have been a Cobra Kai 😂🤣
New video yay
I think the "Lord of the flies" Book has more to do with the kids turning on each other, than of miyagi catching flies.
4:14 it’s not Daniel it’s Johnny
These aren't easter eggs or missed things. Just simply references the show and it's success is built upon.
Can the ice blocks really be a thing I missed if it's also a big part of ValleyFest in season 2 also?
Chozen is ultimately teaching Daniel the same techniques Silver did in KK3,
If a man can't stand he can't fight, if he can't see he can't fight
If an opponent insists on war, take away their ability to wage it.....
The difference being that Silver taught Daniel aggression and Chozen is teaching a method of last resort.
I do want to see if Eagle Fang & Miyagi Do can meld into a unique style or if it will just go to crap XD.
@@unvoicedapollo3318 I wonder if its 'rule number 2' after 'karate for defense only', only when learning that could he be taught rule number 2 'if the enemy insists on war.....'.
Nice
Martin Kove's (who plays John Kreese) son plays the actor who bullies the young John Kreese in flashbacks.
4:15 anyone else hear him say the wrong name
Johnny is the real Karate kid.
Cant wait for Silver to Return!!😁😁
Hi all can anyone tell me the name of the song in season 3 episode 1 when Miguel is in the bed sleeping and dreaming of fighting when Johnny is talking to him??????
The Crane kick was not illegal. It was above the waist and used clean technique.
Season 3 was good but i feel like season 2 was way better because it had wayyy more fight scenes.
The kick was legal. Johnny isn't the karate kid... But Cobra Kai is an amazing show and does a great job of showing both perspectives.
You said "daniel" punched the window of the car in season 3, LOL...
This is so bizarre seeing all this old cast of karate kid on cobra cai lol wew time fly's indeed lol
I enjoy watching screen rant "things you missed" videos just to laugh at how bad they are and how many times they say things that were very obvious and blatant in the movies/shows were "things you missed" lmao
I love how this hole video is trying to convince us cobra Kai is better then miyagi-do
He called johnny daniel at smashed windows part
There was a part where Miguel was in the hospital and the camera angle changed and he didn't have his things to help him breathe and then the angle went back to the original one and he had the thing that helped him breathe
i wanna see someone make a anime version of this
Daniel also did the "honk" upon Chosen at the end of Karate Kid 2
Yes illegal kick, and since day one i felt LaRusso was the bully. I actually got in a fist fight back in the day because i called Danny the bully. People assumed Johnny was the bully. Funny how after 30 years people actually see it for what it was.
Something you didnt know.. It appears there's some licensing issues with Netflix and Toyota.. That's why they mention other car manufacturers but say Doyona when referring to Toyota. Its It's pronounced Doy-o-na not Duy-o-na.
Cobra kai never dies
25 things you saw, but we're gonna list cuz MONEY!!
Did nobody norice that they had the refference of warm beer form the motorbike clip in karate kid
you said Daniel punched through the window when jonny actualy did
Did he call johnny daniel when he punched the car window lol
The crane kick isn't really illegal. As Daniel LaRusso states in Cobra Kai Season 3, "Any kick above the waist is legal". Miguel also made the same kick, and it still wasn't counted as a cheating move. Therefore the crane kick is just like any other kick but with more style.
Now the student is now the master
aye im ur one thousand like😎😎😎
Literally didn't watch the video after reading comments 😛
Lol@ the abandoned plot point of Johnny being catfished by Ali's husband.
Eagle Fang Karate for life!
Watched in one night
here's an EASTER EGG no'ones picked up on its been in all 3 seasons prove that no one watched KK4TNK its the only one with HAWK in it
No, The Crane kick was not illigal.
Miguel used it to and got a point for it.
Daniel was not the bully, nor in The Karate kid or Cobra Kai .
He was genuinely happy to see Johnny, fixed his car for free and even told him he didn't blame him for what happened in the past, it was Cobra kai.
And the first thing Johnny does after was reopening Cobra Kai.
This video was good but it got way better when he included iroh from avatar aka the best show ener
Tien toch op man
That one person hey what’s with the spoilers
The funny thing is that I got A Cobra Kai and while I was watching this vid😂🤣😂🤣
The crane kick was not an illegal kick. The judges were there and saw the kick. If it was illegal, he would have lost the tournament. 😛
I’m guessing the person that made this video believes in the fact that Daniel was actually the villain of the original movie and to that I say
Just no
the Karate kid is not one person but a type of person " the karate kid" and this movie is to show the life of a karate child
Neither Daniel nor Johnny is the true Karate Kid. _THE ONE AND ONLY _*_TRUE_*_ KARATE KID WILL FOREVER BE _*_VAL ARMORR!!_*
The Crane kick is legally above the waist and Miguel won a point off it too, but go off I guess.
The ref very clearly stated “no hits to the face” so yes it was illegal, even Ralph Macchio himself stated in an interview that the movie went against its own rules and had him win with an illegal kick. The only difference with Cobra Kai is that they’ve had decades to change the rules and it was never made clear in their All Valley Tournament that hits to the face are illegal. Hawk even wins his first round with a hit to the face.
Wow!
The aunt's name was Yukie (yuki-eh) not Uuki. And the kick WAS legal: unless you're saying that a Karateka of Pat Johnson's calibre would screw up THAT badly.
In Karate Kid 1. Score 2-2. Johnny clearly struck Daniel with a fist strike to the head. NO point. Yet Daniel's KICK to Johnny's face WAS given the winning point???? What up wit dat??! Johnny should have been awarded the victory.
*"It's cobra kai"*
What about when Daniel is about use Miyagi's healing hand and then gets a medic instead
