"the karate kid is about kazooki miyagi. an immigrant who fought against his own people in wwII while his wife lost a child in an internment camp. Noriyuki Morita was nominated for an academy award for hos performance. Ralph Macchio showed up" Lol jk
Not gonna happen. She was never really a big fan of that one even though it was her big break. She is a two time Oscar winner for movies that came afterwards she's more proud of that work. Plus, she's constantly working on various projects. Same as Tamlyn Tomita. Tomita probably works more than her or Shue. I would garner she's worked way more consistently and on more projects than Macchio, Zabka and Kove combined over the last few years. The writers would have to really come up with something memorable for either women to turn down another project for a small appearance on the show. Definitely with Shue. After the second movie she was angry with the film makers for how her character was written off. They basically made "Ali" look like a girl who in the span of 1 year bounced from guy to guy to UCLA football player and wrecked Daniel's car. They made her character married now. If the writers were to pull something similar and have her character end up having an affair with Johnny or even Daniel she may not go for it because it would reinforce what the film makers did in the second movie.
I love that they bring back all the original cast and show their histories so u know why they became the way they are. Kreese always was portrayed as pure evil but after watching season 3 u can understand how he became like that. Haven’t seen any show yet that dug so deep into the characters, loving it. Just wish they would make the seasons longer, but maybe thats the secret of their popularity they always leave us wishing for more.
All through season 3 I kept yelling at the tv/ kreese saying that they're kids not soldiers. He trains his students like they're going into battle. Strike first, strike hard no mercy is exactly how you'd act while in the middle of a war. Before he killed his sgt on the bridge, he said that he will never listen to him again or that he made the mistake of listening to him, but yet he bases Cobra Kai on what he learned from him in the Vietnam.
One thing that seems to never be brought up is that in the first movie, Johnny is the two-time defending champion of the All Valley Under-18 Karate Championships tournament.
My favorite part of Cobra Kai is when Miguel asked Johnny Lawrence if there was any particular way he wanted him to clean the mirrors... and he said no I don't give a s***. LOL
Here are more "things no one noticed": The show has the SAME NAME as Johnny's dojo from the first movie! WOW! Johnny and Daniel are played by the same actors that were in the Karate Kid! AMAZING! Daniel uses Karate in his car commercials, and he knows Karate for real! SHOCKING! This guy's list could have been much longer.
I loved hot tub time machine but I didn't realize that Johnny lawrence was in it even though I always felt something was very familiar about the character he played.
3:38 Ralph Machio actually stated in an interview they couldn't use the original headband from the movies because it was too old and frail. So they made identical copies.
I still can’t believe that both Daniel and Johnny are in their 50’s, well Daniel turning 60 this year. 🤯 both looking good for their age and have so many good fight scenes throughout the series. Love this show! ❤️
I wonder if Barney's obsession (How I met Your Mother) with William Zabka and them having him on the show helped get this series in motion. I always thought that was hilarious!
I enjoyed seeing season 1 & season 2! Although, I didn’t care for some of the language. Cobra Kai was very interesting. It kept you wanting to see more of the next episode!😳
Daniel isn’t the bully. He was protecting Ally because Johnny attacked her. He got back at him becuase he didn’t want Johnny to act above others. JOHNNY WAS THE BULLY, NOT DANIEL

"the karate kid is about kazooki miyagi. an immigrant who fought against his own people in wwII while his wife lost a child in an internment camp. Noriyuki Morita was nominated for an academy award for hos performance. Ralph Macchio showed up"
Lol jk
It's bizzare that the 3rd season isn't coming until 2021 even though it has been finished. They need to capitalize on the hype ASAP!
Ikr!!
January 8th, 2021
covid 19 changed the release date.
@@phatcrayonz it’s January 8th. They announced it on Instagram
@@bossky6622 yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cant wait!
Hilary Swank would be a dope guest appearance or cameo since she was also trained by Mr. Miyagi.
Oh hell no, that was a garbage movie and doesn't deserve the karate kid title.....
@@RoninPyro77 Meh, rather that one than the 2010 remake
@@barrettokarate Damn that’s a lot of paragraphs... how much time did you have to type those?
I mean, Julie's grandfather saved Mr. Miyagi so she's pretty significant
I really hope they don’t stop at season 4. This needs 10 seasons!
I felt like kid again while watching cobra kai
Bringing back the past
So lit
loved this series since it was on RUclips! Hope Netflix doesn’t change it around too much
I watched the entire first season in 1 day.
Samee haha
Me too!!!
I finished season one and two in a brief time span too, and now I have nothing to watch ha ha and will be living to see season 3.
The series really pulls you in - there is just something about it. I couldn't wait to see what would happen in each subsequent episode
I finished the show in 1 day
Its amazing that this series brings families together. My sons and I cant wait for the third season
No doubt! My son turned me onto this and it brought me back to my youth and into his and he is already a black belt
This is absolutely amazing I’m hooked been put together so well the old characters, old music and locations... rip Tommy 🙏❤️
Everyone who watched How I met Your Mother knows Johnny was the real Karate Kid 😂
How?
Mr Miyagi basically saved Johnny from long term imprisonment for killing Daniel
It does not matter who starts the fight, what matters is who ends it
Amazing segment. Every single tid bit. Thank you.
One thing that seems to never be brought up is that in the first movie, Johnny is the two-time defending champion of the All Valley Under-18 Karate Championships tournament.
Hard to believe that Ralph Macchio is OLDER than Pat Morita was back in '84!
I know...I couldn't believe that when I heard it
Maybe they purposely made Morita look older for the role
I know. I couldn't believe the age gap between Macchio and Courtney Henggeler
N a h, Ralph just has the brat face!...
Tommy was also the person that said "Put him in a bodybag" in the original movie, but ended up being in a bodybag at the end of the episode.
😭😳
machio may be older then maurita was, but as for the actaul characters, myagi was much older ten laruosso is in this at the time he trained him.
My favorite part of Cobra Kai is when Miguel asked Johnny Lawrence if there was any particular way he wanted him to clean the mirrors... and he said no I don't give a s***. LOL
That end fighting scene was epic, had me glued for the full 5hours it run. It was exciting and not predictable
OG RUclips Premium Fans "we already noticed all this"
I never considered Iron Eagle an unknown spinoff movie, back in the day I liked it 10 times better than Top Gun.
@yunior77 The second one was even better.
Great movie!
Noticed that was footage not in the movie in some flashbacks and wondered if it was original. Great series!
Joel M yep, they put in some unused footage from the original.
He predicted so much things that actually came true
when you come back after 2 seasons and you realize he called everything.. subscribed
I just watched Cobra Kai! Its a really cool series. I hope they can continue it.
They are season 3 was announced
@@afkgaming2479 YES!! Me ans my mom have been waiting for more. The last season ended off on a weird note.
What's funny is that the Jaden Smith Karate Kid was mentioned. Will Smith and Caleeb Pinkett are executive producers of Cobra Kai.
Face contact is a point with a kick..not with hands... especially in those days in the Midwest where I am from
Here are more "things no one noticed": The show has the SAME NAME as Johnny's dojo from the first movie! WOW! Johnny and Daniel are played by the same actors that were in the Karate Kid! AMAZING! Daniel uses Karate in his car commercials, and he knows Karate for real! SHOCKING! This guy's list could have been much longer.
I don’t get if this is a joke or serious
@@blxziken4949 it's a joke. And a good one.
@@ajb5559 it’s not funny tho
Hopeful no one will noticed this obvious and idiotic commentary.
I want to know where Ralph Macchio found the fountain of youth...That guy just does not age!
ali sends johnny a friend request meaning it is highly likely she will return
I think she is gonna come soon too
She will be the one doing surgery on miguel
Hawk is the best character in the serie.
Change my mind.

I didnt expect to watch more than 5 min of Cobra Kai, and ended up binging it so fast, and crying through the last ep, its sooo good
3:38 Ralph Machio actually stated in an interview they couldn't use the original headband from the movies because it was too old and frail. So they made identical copies.
What there is to it is that Johnny is not all that bad and evil and Daniel is not all that good and perfect.
Until this series i had forgotten daniel joined cobra kai
When you bow to your class or opponent your heels should touch. Looks goofy to me watching Daniel bow with his feet apart
This will be me and my wife’s HALLOWEEN OUTFIT this year...we are currently fighting over the Kobra Kai outfit!!!
Cobra kai but okay
dekubethememe I know, but I thought it looked better that way.
The real villian is SAM! She is the reason for like 70 percent of the problems.
Sam is a slag.
Totally agree
"bitches will be bitches"
@@quackoof6745 Although I do believe it was mostly Daniel's fault.

Bruh Johnny’s challenger looks dope as hell. Before and after the Cobra Kai livery. The black and yellow is awesome
