- After a spending a few months with Smokedogg Customs, Alan was able to work with Rywire to get all of the electronics & wiring configured. In addition, to the custom fab work he did in the previous episode, he also installed a few of the other peripherals to get the K24 swap to fire up and run!
With a few events & SEMA fast-approaching, the original plan changed and the GR86 went straight from Smokedogg onto the dyno at Animal Auto. With final checkovers being done on the dyno, we made it Anthony made it happen alongside Andrew to make sure there were no loose ends.

I was thinking about this swap ever since I saw the news about FA24 oil starvation. Hopefully there’s more support to make this swap easier in the future, this project is sick!
K swap is on its way soon there already ev swap gr86 ev is the future way better then any k swap

@@eh6578 ev is the future can’t denied that k swap is becoming like the b series. I don’t mind a ev swap in a 90s classic shell like a ev swap civic eg there already one.
@@abcwarrior91 The reason people buy the GR86 is because it's a lightweight, rwd, manual transmission sports car. Same for the Miata or the Cayman. These characteristics of the engine and the transmission are the personality of a sports car.
If you like fast cars, then EVs are great! If you enjoy pure driving and Motorsports, EVs are still incomplete.

Yes, now that we’ve finished our 5-week long run of some of our biggest events of the year (Supras in Vegas, Formula D, Wekfest, GridLife, SEMA, and Global Time Attack) we are going to get the fine details of this build organized and post all the info that we can 🙌🏻👊🏻

On this first go-around the Haltech ECU was the better choice for time constraints.
