It's not every day that we catch a Mahi Mahi (dolphin) this size! These larger dolphins are what we call SLAMMERS! As soon as this fish was in the boat we both knew we were pretty excited to get back to the dock and see what this fish had been eating. We were NOT disappointed. These beautiful fish are truly predatory creatures growing up to 1 inch per day! No wonder why they eat so much.

Ah the circle of life. I would guess 90 percent of all fish die of old age and fall to the ocean floor to serve one last purpose. Food for crabs,lobsters,sealice,sea worms,all bottom fish,and the dreaded spiny dogfish.
