Yeah, Johnson is great. I think the most I've ever laughed at Peep show was when Johnson just guzzles a glass of wine and goes "More fool you, asshole!" :D
I've been watching you guys for maybe a year now, don't think I've commented before but just want to say that watching you two brings me so much joy in what is a tough time at the moment, so thank you and keep doing your thing 😊
Paterson Joseph who plays johnson is a fantastic actor he's got great range you may have already seen him in The Beach and Julius Caesar, you can see him play goofier roles in David mitchell and Robert Webb's sketch comedy show 'That mitchell and webb look' which i highly recommend
I couldn't disagree more. Most of the humour in Peep Show comes from the awkward and hilarious situations that ensue when the principle characters cross the social and sexual boundaries that exist within their (and our) world
I’m ashamed to say I’ve not seen Peep Show & am watching it for the first time with you guys. This was a superb episode, great reaction, I was laughing along with you all the way 😂
@@davidz3879 I haven't had easy access to it through legal means because I don't live in an English-speaking country. Also, I was 7 or 8 when it came out.
@@rasmusn.e.m1064 yeah same here I live in the UK, but I was like 10 when it came out. Other than that, later on I just never got around to it and got distracted watching other stuff. So I’m like 20 years late to the party lol
Mark's inner monologue while he's getting the lap dance is one my favourite Peep Show scenes "Bond like neutrality, as though as I'm so used to real life naked women"😂😂
28:39 Just feign a stroke saying "I can't feel my left arm and leg" with an accompanying limp. Then phone for a taxi and tell the driver "hospital please". Halfway to hospital redirect him somewhere else. The next day phone in and say no need to visit me in hospital it was only a mini stroke and that you'll be back in in a couple of days (when you've had time to come up with project Zeus)
Fab ep, reaction. 😂👍 0:04 That's what I thought when I saw that pic too, either a Civil War general or a real-life historical pic of someone from HBO's Deadwood. 🤠
This 4th series was filmed in 2007 and she married into the royal family in 2009 (though they may have already been in a relationship), she filmed most her scenes in Harry Enfield's show after her marriage and she continues to be in many comedies and dramas so I don't think being a royal has changed anything. She also has a famous half-sister Claudia Winkleman who is a tv presenter and you may have reacted to shows she has been on (8 out of 10 cats/does countdown, big fat quiz of the year, would I lie to you etc).
They both moved to LA so she could continue with her acting career, but later came back and she retired from acting (I think that was only around covid time)
@@eleanoraswood9252 No! Really? Let's not give any spoilers away, just in case they read the comments, but that was one of the funniest episodes in the entire show. Come back to the comments on that episode and we can fight over it 🤣
This was the best peep show episode so far, great plot and funny characters, the scripts are getting better in this funny sit com, watching upto season 9 is worth it, another 34 episodes!✌️♥️🇬🇧 Much love, good fun
Big Suze is played by Sophie Winkleman. She also goes by her official name; Lady Frederick Windsor. Her husband is Lord Frederick Windsor who is the son of the Duke of Kent - the late Elizabeth II's 1st cousin. She regularly attends royal events with her husband.
Jeffs one of the most under rated characters of any show ive ever watched, he makes you hate him but love him at the same time haha. Hes one of my favourites who arent a main character
Definitely the high point. It improved and improved until Series 4, and then tailed off after that. It should probably have stopped after four series, the ending to that series was a perfect place to tie it all up, the storylines were all over the place after that and didn’t really go anywhere.
Aye you two, enjoying this show with you. This is the best season, can't wait to see your faces on episode '5', it's going to be priceless, three cheers to you two thanks
As others have pointed out below, in real life, Big Suze's husband, Frederick Windsor, is Queen Elizabeth's first cousin's son (son of Prince Michael of Kent).
I'm not going to say which character I prefer out of Mark or Jez, but obviously they are both always going to be my favourite characters... after that it's Jackson... I mean Johnson! 😃 He KILLS every scene he's in, neither Mark, nor Jez, nor any other character 'takes' any scene he's in! Paterson D. Joseph did an exceptional job bringing him to life. I remember him in a sureal comedy show Green Wing, and a very good 'apocalypse' style drama 'Survivors'. He was also a lead in a time travel show made in the US called Timeless, perhaps as a bit of a sf fan I ought to check it out, but haven't yet.
Sophie winkleman (big suz) married fred Windsor iin 2009, they have two young children. 42nd in line to the throne so very distantly related, in 2017 Sophie had a bad car accident 10 years after this show, broken back and a foot iin a head on collision from a car swerving to avoid a deer, internal injuries to,not likely to be acting again soon ✌️♥️🇬🇧 seems like a fun woman!
the slight issue with the "civil war general" intro is i've only just realised your re-using it and i now know i've skipped a few of your videos without watching as i hear that and assumed youtube was replaying an older video i'd already seen.
We have been saying since season 1 Johnson & Super Hans are the best characters in this, they steal the show in almost every episode from now on. Enjoy
the eternal mystery to this episode is was it just a kiss or more with Sophie? In a later episode Jeremy admits to a kiss but in this one he wonders if he still smells of Sophie..... hmmmmmmm
King Muppett... ...I mean..Boomer! And the Queen too. How the devil are the two of you mupp...err..I mean..... Oh who am I kiddin!? Look, I love you two muppets. My second favourite episode I think. I can’t wait until my favourite appears on this channel. For those in the know, it’s Mummy! 😊

One of the many great things about Peep show is it is a world in upon itself, There is no social or sexual boundaries literally anything goes
Affairs are great, they're simple & no-one gets hurt!

The guy who plays Johnson, Patterson Joseph has done a lot of Shakespeare, as well as a lot of comedy shows -a great stage actor and a funny dude 👍🏻

Paterson Joseph is the actor who plays Johnson. I saw him brilliantly live performing as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol a few years ago.
