Dunno why it's so wholesome seeing Americans enjoy British humour but it is, love it 👏
These days they understand it more.
I agree
My old job was working in a shop. We had a regular customer who’s wife was American, she’d lived in the UK for about 15 years. She hadn’t lost the accent, but she had picked up all the local slang. It’s was really odd, but kind of nice hearing North West English slang and terminology spoken with a strong American accent. And she was a super nice lady too.
Because we have a sense of humor.
@@gammaphonic super nice? 😁
I was 18 and in Sixth Form when the film came out and everyone in the club was doing the dance. I feel that this series genuinely defined a generation.
I would have been 21 so the movie came out around the time I graduated from Uni, so the series started when I was in college about 17/18. And yes, I remember the dance being done in the clubs, it definitely defined a generation!
Every time that songs comes on in a nightclub you have to do the dance
HI George... you're wrong.
@@jessielegrande5211Hi jessie, you’re clearly too young to know then!
Funny how films can define a generation or a moment In time , for me and 400 other lads ,serving wit🎉the UN in Cyprus 1986 , it was the Blues Brothers that sent the bar absolutely mental
Love this movie so much especially “Kitty don’t bite. Not now she’s been fed” LMAO
@GanjaDan OOOHH CRAB PASTE
"Spunk on me bastard tits"! 🤣🤣
I saw a thing about the movie (might have been the dvd extras or some thing) and they asked that woman about the scenes she did and how it was done. She said " during the dance floor scene, there was A LOT of padding involved" basically like the thickness of a diaper, stuffed into her undies, so when he was doing that rubbing motion, she wasnt actually feeling anything.
@GanjaDan Imagine the state of anyone's when Neil's done with it...
@GanjaDan like a punched kebab
This is genuinely one of the closest depictions of the English lads/girls holiday at about 18 to a Greek island or Spanish resort. Mine was over 20 years ago and it was the same 😂
Yep 30 years for me shagaluf 😂
Yep, did Gran Canaria 2001 with mates, we were 17, actually ended up in a bit of a fight with my mate just like Simon and Jay lol
I’ve never actually gone through this right of passage in my life, neither when I was at college or before university, so I do feel like I’ve still missed out. But I’m still in my 20s so I would still love to try and experience it while I can. It reeeally does feel like a right of passage.
'It's her or Johnny Vegas' will always be one off the funniest things I've seen 🤣🤣
sponk all oveh me basted tets
You two cracking up at Jay knocking one out has got to be one of the funniest things I've seen for a long time. You didn't know whether to be disgusted or piss yourself laughing. Love it.
It had me in stitches too 🤣
Watched the Inbetweeners movie with my dad years ago. At “spunk all over me bastard tits”, we had to pause it for a full five minutes while he had a laughing fit on the floor 😂
It was a massive hit when it first came out at cinemas. It was packed out at our local one and the atmosphere was buzzing. I remember being surprised at just how many people loved the Inbetweeners. The extras on the show were all fans who went over to be part of the event!
Who’s the good looking actor who played love cheat James in the first movie???? I’m sure he’s famous ???? The one Carly got off with? Tried googling but I’m crap.
@@katiekatconway1880 Theo james? the guy who was in divergent?
It's a Bidet (Pronounced Bee-Day). It's for sprucing up your rusty sheriffs badge after a Tom Tit :)
😅😅😅😅
Tom tit 😂😂😂
«Rusty sheriff’s badge!» 😂😂
"WHAT IS HE DOING! he has HAM!? AND A GLOVE?!"
Possibly the best quote in humankind 😆
The actor that plays Will’s dad is the real dad of actress who plays Simon’s girlfriend Carli.
Anthony Steward Head is her dad? Giles?

Christ, Boomers, I hadn’t realised how much I missed your Inbetweeners reactions until I saw this. Watching the pair of you lose it over this movie was absolutely hilarious. Thank you for brightening up my day so much.
LOVED the reaction. Ignore those who say the second film isn’t good - it is. There are even some funnier moments, I think
The second movie has its moments and is fine but it just felt a little unnecessary and would never live up to the first one
@@generichuman2044 I thought they were both great.
I never understand why people say it's worse, I've always thought the 2nd is superior. It's just straight up funnier than the first. And I never really liked the 'happy' ending of the first, felt out of touch with the rest of the series.
I'm glad the second film was made as it gives fans a choice to decide which ending they prefer as the proper send off. The first being the happy ending, the second being more of the tragic ending
@@generichuman2044 disagree. 2nd one is wayyyy better than the first one. It's top tier comedy.
I'm so obsessed with this whole thing I've literally binged the series again by watching you guys watching it
the dancing bit in the club does it for me....what a scene...had me in stiches
I remember going to the cinema to watch it and the dancing scene had the whole place laughing for 2 minutes straight
"It's just fingers int it lovey" Folds me everytime that bit🤣
Will's Dad is played by Anthony Head. Carly is played by Emily Head - Father and Daughter in real life.
Gold Blend man.
I’m so glad you guys have managed to get to the movie :) I know how long you’ve wanted to do it. Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as we all did 🙂
Absolutely love your reactions King & Queen Boomer !!!!!!
Another cracking reaction, well done guys. My favourite part was the simple line from Neil “I stopped believing in God when I realised it was just Dog backwards!” Keep up the good work!
The Inbetweeners 2 - Australia 🇦🇺 👍🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Is the best
Fun fact. This was actually filmed in Magaluf! Where Simons Dad mentioned, I had a picture taken with the bench jay Kicked lol
I would love to see you both watch the movie Kevin and Perry Go Large.
It was a staple teen movie back in the early 2000s and has similar humour to Inbetweeners.
He’s done it now 😊
Honestly you guys have the perfect reaction to this show! Fucking class content and so glad you enjoy the British shows and culture so much! Hope to see more and more of your context as I watch nearly every video. Love from Portsmouth England 🏴
"You just need a hug and a snack"
I didn't think I could love Queen Boomer more!
These films are awesome! Do number 2 you’ll love it!
I always enjoy number 2.
Number 2 is the best imo.
@@michaelglass1911 Just remember to wash the duvet.....
In the unrated version, there’s a quick scene where Will and Simon see Mr. Gilbert chugging beers at a bar.
I saw that, Mr Gilbert was mental 😂
If you want movies you gotta do the cornetto trilogy with Simon Pegg. Sacha Baron Cohen has some great comedies too
I second the Cornetto Trilogy
@@Vinniejster. thirded. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz absolute classics.
Great review guys and glad you loved it as much as we did in the UK. The dance became iconic here, and saw many Brits abroad do that dance when they played that record. 👏👏👏
David Schaal (Jay's dad actor) is on Cameo and does a lot of shout outs in character.
Should do Trainspotting, not seen anyone react to that yet. Was the film that made Euan McGregor famous and also has Robert Carlisle in it playing one of the best characters ever on screen, the legend that is Begby
Yep, great film. Second film wasn’t so good, but worth a watch for a bit of a nostalgia trip if you love the first one, I suppose.
@@Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55 That's a very polite way of giving it the description I would - it was shite 😂
The first was up there with some of the best of them though.
@@randommadness1021 probably right. I watched the second one at the cinema and haven’t even thought about it since haha
@@Two_Seat_Pete_FatA55 same, can't even remember what it's about 😂
Only bit I can remember is that bit when they ended up in a Rangers pub.

@@brendanm6921 haha WHAT. This is crazy to me
Why when I watch another reaction channel does it never feel the same as yours this channel is the best and it's because of you both your personality always making us laugh
A bit of back story on their accommodation choice, they wouldn't have picked it. In the UK, Travel Agents used to do a thing called "Allocation on Arrival" which was a cheap way of them getting rid of hotel bookings and flights they had at the last minute. You only knew the place you were going, i.e the island or city, but didn't know which town or hotel you were in. For example myself and a mate booked two days before going and got two weeks in Rhodes for $150 including hotel and flights. We were hoping we were staying in the party towns, but ended up in a fishing village at the bottom of the island, furthest from the clubs with only one taxi which was driven by the local chef so you could only get a cab when he finished cooking. So, as these lads found out, you got off the plane and someone would be holding up a sign for which bus you were on, then you'd have the nail biting experience of pulling into a shit town or shit hotel and really hoping your name didn't get called out. It was either a relief if yours wasn't called or the painful realisation that you'd struck out, the only hope being that there were even worse options down the road......
One of the best teen films of all time.
That was great. Good job with the editing, got most of the crucial parts in.
Fun fact - at the beginning when you say you hadn't seen Will's dad before, the actor playing his dad is the real life dad to the actress playing Carli... He's also a pretty well known actor in the UK.
Anthony Head
And in the US... He played Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn't he?
@@elvisthegamecollector7053 yep

I’ve seen this series and the films more times than I can count but watching your reactions to them the first time you see them just hits different 🤣🤣🤣
Love what you and queen boomer do! Can’t wait for your reaction to the second film 😂
Kevin & Perry Go Large is also good.
Its shite!
It’s not bad considering inbetweeners stole a lot the script after all these years!
You guys are literally couple goals! Keep up the dope content too! 10/10
You gotta watch 2 asap. Inbetweeners 2 is even better. One of the funniest movies ever.
It’s not better, it’s pretty crap
2 is the best, way funnier.
@Dana White‘s Right Slap it is better
Great reactions. Let's hope the inbetweeners cast get back together for a third movie together even if it's not the inbetweeners.
I've watched this over 5 times but loved watching it with you both this evening. Made it so much more fun! Make sure you watch the 2nd movie xx
So 6 times?
@@eadweard. no... he watched the movie 5 times and the reaction once. The reaction is on the movie, not the movie itself. Not difficult to understand
You too crack me up! You get the British humour and I laughed every single time you did🤣🤣👍
I’m not sure if you know this King Boomer but the guy who is playing Will’s father in the movie is actually Carli’s father in real life.
really?
@@imEmops Yh
Carly's friend is the daughter of Holly in Red Dwarf
@@imEmops So she is partially to blame for Giles missing much of one season of Buffy the vampire slayer (He took time off to spend some more time with his two daughters)!
He was in buffy tvs as well….. second guessing myself now but think he was
I loved seeing Mr Boomers face just before the "Johnny Vegas" line, trying to figure out what he was hearing, whilst knowing what was about to happen :D
Kevin and Perry go large is another great movie. Similar sort of content.
Love that film, I was there in the Harlequin centre in Watford when they filmed the dance scene and going up the escalators being called virgins. I was only 10 or something, and I just started joking in haha
You guys are upping your game, loving the reactions. Well done all around!
It's either her or Johnny Vegas so glad you got the reference.
This is an accurate representation of boys holidays at that age. When I was younger 6 of us went to Greece. There was a MASSIVE earthquake. It was so bad that buildings collapsed and someone died..... But 5 of us were too drunk to remember it!!
I watched this in a sold out cinema. It was amazing.
I suggest watching The Festival. It's got Joe Thomas in it (who plays Simon, basically plays the same character) and it's produced by the same creators as The Inbetweeners so same humour
The second movie they go to Australia. It's worth watching for the water park scene, alone 😂😂
And by the car lol, I like how they think it is over
The second movie is garbage though
@Dana White‘s Right Slap the second movie is amazing though
@@James_Doyle83 it’s not

This was brilliant. Really brightened up my day. You two are awesome
"Your also handsome, and smart" - bro, she a keeper 😎🤣 - awsome reaction btw!
Thank you for being the only channel who actually calls out the behaviour of Carly. It is hilarious to watch Simon fail but it's pretty messed up
The dance scene was genuinely the funniest things I’d ever seen in the cinema.
Cannot wait for inbetweeners 2 reaction!
This reminded me of my holiday to Zante with mates when I was 19. Everything from the matching t-shirts to the state of the hotel. It's like a British right of passage
Mrs Boomer is well fit.
She isn't
@nackjicholson1940 Give it a rest, you bellend.
I love the fact you say "football" chants, and not Soccer chants. Good man :)
I remember at the time everybody was doing the whole inbetweener's dance thing at clubs which is something that's still going in the UK...my family did one at my cousins wedding last year and nobody saw it coming...the music just came on and my family just went up on the floor and did the whole dance moment.
That dig “it’s her or it’s Johnny vegas” that was 🥶 🔥
"We need to make this youtube compliant"
But there's only 52 minutes left from a 95 minute movie
"I know!"
I agree . Utube going to lefty
Great movie. I consider it the example of how to do a movie based off a TV show.
This was the last movie i saw at the cinema with my school friends before going to university. Id not seen the tv show at that point but it was absolutely hilarious. The terrible lads' holiday i never had 😂
Love watching your reaction videos, guys - especially the Inbetweeners stuff! 😃 Great to see Americans loving our weird and wacky British comedy! Keep up the good work! ❤
The actress who plays Alison (Laura Haddock) is the co -star in the transformers The Last Knight movie.
So she's done pretty well indeed. Lol
Don’t forget guardians of the galaxy…. And captain America
Loved the Netflix series White Lines too
She was married to Sam Caflin.
3:18 Will's dad is played by Carli's irl father
21:22 Also, the guy that plays James is Theo James who's pretty big in the states nowadays
Dammit, I wish they hadn't done a second movie. Don't get me wrong, the second one cracks me up, but story wise, this would have been the perfect ending.
I used to work at an airport and you’ll be surprised how many people where those t-shirts 😂
Thank you sir!!!! I'll watch it here and upgrade my patreon pledge next time. Thank you for all the time and headaches you put into this channel 👊
A “Bidet” guys 😊. And fun fact, Will lives around the corner to me in Hackney!
Neil's new girl and old girl and Jay's girl had a TV show together called Drifters.
Which wasn't as good as the Inbetweeners but it still was still pretty good and was often referred to (at the time) as the female Inbetweeners
I second that, I think I prefer Inbetweeners but Drifters definitely isn’t bad. Same with Plebs and Derry Girls
@lokephoenix1039 Derry Girls and Inbetweeners are the better of those 4 shows. Plebs and Drifters were both very good but definitely a step below. Derry Girls and Inbetweeners will be talked about still in a decade or more, but like who remembers the mid 90s sitcom Game On? They'll be random shows you find buried in BritBox or 240p uploads to RUclips
Loved when you were trying to remember a bidet 😂😂😂 ‘doo-ay? Doobay?’ Love you two loads, always cheer up my day!!
Marvellous reaction from you two! Had me grinning throughout. Good job
Fun fact. I lived with the guy singing "WE LOVE YOU BURNLEY" when we were in college.
He was also in a series called 'Drifters' starring the girls from this movie.
I love this movie, it reminds me of the holiday i had with my 3 mates to Magaluf in 1999. One of my mates had his 18th birthday whilst we were there. Good times.
Just a side note, Anthony Head who plays WIll's dad, is the real life father to the actress who plays Carli, Emily Head
Tbf you edited this really well... usually when other creators edit these they miss all the good parts
King boomer’s laugh is the absolute best

I love watching you and the Queen reacting to The Inbetweeners. Did you know that MTV did a US version?. It would be fun to see both of you reacting to US vs UK Inbetweeners it’s quite weird. Cheers for now.
Neil (Blake Harrison) was a professional dancer.
As someone who grew up in the early 2000s with a bunch of teenage cousins I heard the word Shagaluf so many times before I hit 10 years old.
