Haha the ball scene is so funny. The audience genuinely didn't know what was going to happen and it's actually Simons bollock so it made for incredible TV 🤣
'Bint' is an derisory slang term for a woman. Usually accompanied with the terms 'Stupid' or 'Dozy'. It comes from the Arabic for 'Girl'. Having said that, I have a friend who affectionately refers to his wife as 'The Bint'. Also many schools in the UK have a uniform code that is very loosely enforced; a blazer would be considered seriously uncool and not worn by most kids. Will probably wears it because he has been told it's the uniform.
@@SB-th8uc It is not in itself a negative term and was never used as such. 8:06 so essentially in british schools, you would typically blazer if your school required a uniform but all the kids didn't like wearing a blazer as it makes them look nerdy, so most of them took them off or didn't where them to school at all and instead wear just jumper or white shirts with the schools tie, it essentially just a fashion thing for not wanting to look like a nerd, as will does wearing it xD
'Bint' is slang for 'young woman' from the Arabic word meaning 'girl' or 'daughter'. British soldiers picked up the word in the days of the Empire and used it to refer to a local (native) girlfriend. It is considered derogatory and sexist nowadays. John Cleese famously used it to Connie Booth (his wife at the time) in Fawlty Towers when he called her a 'cloth-eared bint'.
I didn't know it was Army slang, but we've adopted lots of slang from other languages that way. Makes me wonder if biddy as in "old biddy" is the same. Though there was Biddy Baxter of Blue Peter fame. ...I looked it up, short for Bridget.
So now you've done 'the fashion show' and 'work experience', there's one more to do to complete 'the holy trinity' of Inbetweeners episodes. 'University visit'. Simon gets a new girlfriend and they all go to stay at her older sisters place to look at a Uni. Pure gold. They're all great....but those three really are something special...
friend of mine pierced his own ear, he used a sowing needle too but he was a few sandwiches short of a picnic and decided the piercing would be quicker and less painful if he heated the needle with a flame. He got the needle glowing red then pushed it straight through, the needles literally melted through and his skin stuck to it so he couldnt pull it out. It was stuck cooking his ear from the inside out.. the smell was horrendous! I laughed for hours...

I was at school in the early 1990’s. You could choose between wearing a blazer and a jumper. 90% of people wore jumpers. It was generally posher or nerdy kids that wore blazers. Will was at a private school before transferring to a 6th form at a state funded school (which are the majority of schools in the UK). Private schools are expensive and normally have a mandatory blazer as part of the uniform.
But only because the first choice got nervous, got drunk on vodka and chickened out, and the second choice had a disgusting hairy back, so he got fired.
Queen Boomer is right, the reason Will wears a jacket (specifically called a blazer) is because he came from an expensive private school where that's a mandatory part of the uniform, whereas in state school it isn't (though it is optional). As it happens when I started secondary school there was one solitary boy who came in wearing a blazer - he wore it for maybe a week at most, but got called "blazer boy" for years after 😂
It's technically mandatory in my state school, but I take it off when it's hot (or don't even bother wearing it to school) and no-one gives a shit since I'm a sixth former now. Don't ever do the two buttons up though!
I love watching your reactions, this is one of the greatest comedy shows of all time in my opinion , came out over 12 years ago and STILL makes me laugh so much, and seeing you both react int he same way is great haha

Yes we viewers are sick. Same as everyone else. We can just admit it 😁 Much love to everyone from here in the UK & hope everyone has a great week
It's not only Will that wears the black blazer though, it's all the new kids "the freaks" that joined at the same time. So it would make sense that they joined at the point when the school were bringing in a new uniform. Most schools when they change uniforms only make new kids wear them and the others can wear what they have already had and paid for, if that makes sense? Not make the families buy a whole second uniform. That's what happened at my school.
I went school in the early 1990’s. We had a choice between a jumper or a blazer. 90% of people wore the jumper. It was generally the posher or nerdy kids that wore blazers. I had always thought Will wore a blazer after transferring from a private school. All the other new kids were nerdy as well. But there was a girl that transferred for the school trip episode that wasn’t wearing a blazer. So I don’t know.
Could just be because he's new. There'd be a uniform list & his mum would buy it all. The others will have outgrown theirs, as well as dumped them once they found out they could get away with it. Though, he would also have actually been made to wear one at his posh school and he is also a briefcase wanker. I'm a bit older, but we just about had a communal blazer policy - if you got in shit you borrowed one to go see the Headteacher in.
Your discussion about pierced ears reminds me of how things used to be when they first became popular with men. Speaking as a gay man it was common knowledge in the late 70's and early 80's amongst all of us that earrings worn on the left meant that the wearer was 'active' and those worn on the right meant that the wearer was 'passive'. The same was true of nipple piercings and certain articles of clothing, especially handkerchiefs, i.e. if a man was wearing a yellow one hanging out of his back left-hand side pocket it meant he liked to pee on his sexual partners and if it was in his right-hand side pocket he enjoyed being peed on. Incidentally if he had both of his ears pierced it meant that he was 'versatile'. On a funnier note I remember working as night manager at a 7-Eleven in Calgary, Canada many years ago and I was wearing a pair of diamond stud earrings and I had really short hair which made them obviously very noticeable when a gang of about 15 bikers came in and their leader asked me if I was a 'f*g' and I just replied to him that I wasn't but I could swear to God that my roommate was because he insisted on sucking my d*ck and then shoving it up his ar$e immediately afterwards whenever we got together. The entire gang just cracked up with laughter and they were very respectful and paid for every item in the shop that they wanted when they could've very easily robbed us blind. After they left I remember that myself and the lady that I was working with breathed huge sighs of relief and we both needed several cups of coffee to calm us down....it's a good job that the coffee was readily at hand, wasn't it? 👍😁👍 P.S. I wasn't even in a relationship at the time and I lived alone so the roommate that I speak of didn't even exist - it was purely quick thinking on my part and I've always thought that comedy and using my sense of humour has always worked to defuse tricky situations like that. 👍🤣👍
In UK secondary schools a Blazer/Jacket is usually part of the Uniform but when you reach the final years it is typically not mandatory uniform anymore which is why you see Simon/Jay/Neal not wearing one, they would typically have one but just not wear it
Not always. I remember in my school we had a blazer uniform dress code and sixth formers were still in blazer uniforms. They were just a bit more formal with badges.
So the scene in which Simon comes out with his bollock hanging out is actually his real bollock and all the actors and extras in the audience had no idea about it so their reactions are genuine 😂
So funny seeing the queen laughing like she did, lol! It was great to see the shock on your faces when he was doing the last part of the fashion walk, lol! My sides hurt now after seeing this, lol! Personally don't have an issue with the pauses as i get why you have to do it, youtube and their rules. Some people will find any reason to moan about something... the Muppets, lol! A great video as always guys. Have a fantastic day, take care!
In terms of your reaction, this episode was priceless. Well done on the editing, cutting out what you needed to but keeping your reactions. If you can put something in place of the audio you have to cut would be good. I thought my Bluetooth had dropped out.
Forget about the Inbetweeners, if someone didn't know better, they would be wondering what the King and Queen Boomer are doing from 21:37 to 21:47, lol, thanks for the video.
The audience in the carli and Simon scene weren't aware of what was going to happen, plus the actor that plays Simon was offered a prosthetic bollock, he refused. Anyway next episode for me is the absolute best of all 18 regular episodes.
funny with the uniforms. I'm from england, and when i was in primary school (age 5-11) our uniforms looked like those that Jay, Neil Simon etc are wearing, with a jumper/sweater, shirt and trousers. But when we went to secondary school (age 11-16), we had uniforms more like Will's, with a blazer and a tie. But when we got to 6th form (like the boys in this show), we didnt have to wear uniforms any more. I guess things have changed, and it depends on where you live and if you go to a state school or private school.
It definitely depends on the area. I grew up in Bedfordshire which still has the three school system (primary years 1-4, middle years 5-8 and upper years 9-13) and we never had jackets/blazers in any of our schools, always jumpers
Apparently Joe Thomas who plays Simon was the only actor to agree with having his ACTUAL ball hanging out as it wasn't a prosthetic 🤦🏽♀️😲😬😳 lol The others said no way would they do it 🤣
As a British person I will translate =Bint is slang for a woman 😂,another cracking episode great work guys you might need the mind bleach to wipe the memory of Simons balls 😂
Blazers and ties are compulsory wear for most boys in secondary school. Once you get to College (like your High School), they are often still a part of the uniform but the blazer is no longer mandatory. Usually people opt for a school jumper in the colder months, which is what Simon and Neil are usually wearing. Some colleges also do away with uniform entirely, but that's not the case here.
A lot of schools allow casual dress for 6th formers. At my school it was seen as one of the main perks along with the common room and having free periods.
At our secondary the blazer (which would have to have a school badge sewn on) was optional - to be fair that was worn either by the rich kids or nerds - as a twin, my mum and dad weren't forking out on a mini-suit jacket for us to grow out of it in no time, and the kids that wore one sized up with growing room for the next three or so years just looked stupid, lol!
I think Will wears the jacket to play on the fact he thinks he's too good for normal school having come from private school, along with the briefcase. A bit like when he thought he was too good to work at a garage.
the only thing that does my head in is when u are playing the video and chatting to each other and miss important links and jokes within the show, you done that a few times in past lol, but I do love your inbetweeners recations, awesome show! keep doing the reactions Boomers!
On Wills "jacket" it's called a 'blazer' and most schools in England get their students to wear one, it usually has the school crest on it. Most kids don't like wearing them though so never do, you only ever see the new kids wear one for their first year.

After they left I remember that myself and the lady that I was working with breathed huge sighs of relief and we both needed several cups of coffee to calm us down....it's a good job that the coffee was readily at hand, wasn't it? 👍😁👍
P.S. I wasn't even in a relationship at the time and I lived alone so the roommate that I speak of didn't even exist - it was purely quick thinking on my part and I've always thought that comedy and using my sense of humour has always worked to defuse tricky situations like that. 👍🤣👍
One of my favourite things is how Simon just gets instantly angry whenever his parents are involved
Simon with his parents gets so mad it's hilarious
the guy who plays simon's dad wrote the sitcom 15 story's high with sean lock
sean apparently is our second cousin. Never knew that
In UK secondary schools a Blazer/Jacket is usually part of the Uniform but when you reach the final years it is typically not mandatory uniform anymore which is why you see Simon/Jay/Neal not wearing one, they would typically have one but just not wear it
Not always. I remember in my school we had a blazer uniform dress code and sixth formers were still in blazer uniforms. They were just a bit more formal with badges.
In my high school you still had to wear the blazer in year 10 and 11
I went to a separate 6th. No uniform needed
Both my primary school and secondary school didn't have a uniform. You just wore whatever you wanted.
Obviously depends on the school, at mine blazers from year 7 to 10 then jumper in year 11 but most people wore their own jackets anyway.
Isn’t Queen boomer absolutely lovely
Thank the writers, Damon Beesely and Iain Morris, Inbetweeners is basically stuff that happened to them in their school days.
"You guys are sick" hahahaha welcome to Britain!
In schools with uniform you usually get jumpers or blazers with your shirts, you can choose to wear both or just the shirt
I love the pauses. Pause more. Love those bits ❤
most schools have optional blazers but kids very very rarely want to wear them.
BTW, the best thing to fix the chair squeak is lithium grease, comes in spray cans like nobly knee 40, but lasts much longer.
I'm stealing "knobbly-knee 40" - love that :D
Trip to Warwick is the best episode made, your reaction on that will be so good.
Greg Davies who plays Mr Gilbert the psychotic teacher, was actually a teacher before becoming a stand up comedian.
You guys are the best! Respect from Wales both! I have some series suggestions once you have some spare time
In terms of your reaction, this episode was priceless. Well done on the editing, cutting out what you needed to but keeping your reactions. If you can put something in place of the audio you have to cut would be good. I thought my Bluetooth had dropped out.
Love you guys, you've got great chemistry together and you like British comedy🇬🇧♥️
Forget about the Inbetweeners, if someone didn't know better, they would be wondering what the King and Queen Boomer are doing from 21:37 to 21:47, lol, thanks for the video.
Omg yesss. I’ve been waiting for your reaction to this one 😄🙌💗 xx
The audience in the carli and Simon scene weren't aware of what was going to happen, plus the actor that plays Simon was offered a prosthetic bollock, he refused.
Anyway next episode for me is the absolute best of all 18 regular episodes.
QueenB is right about why Will insists on always wearing a blazer.
Edit: Same with the briefcase.
funny with the uniforms.
Im 25 and I had the exact same experience with uniform as you.
It definitely depends on the area. I grew up in Bedfordshire which still has the three school system (primary years 1-4, middle years 5-8 and upper years 9-13) and we never had jackets/blazers in any of our schools, always jumpers
Apparently Joe Thomas who plays Simon was the only actor to agree with having his ACTUAL ball hanging out as it wasn't a prosthetic 🤦🏽♀️😲😬😳 lol The others said no way would they do it 🤣
"Bint" is an Arabic term for a girl, but British soldiers brought it back to Britain as a term for any female.
Jay said 'stupid old bint' when he was beeped whilst driving. Bint being a derogatory term for a woman.
I can't explain how close an example the inbetweeners is of a brittish school back in the day
Can't believe you missed the Princess Diana crack! 🤣🤣
Don't stop pausing guys, I love the crack. Yous are great 😊
These actors are paid peanuts compared to actors in the states
As a British person I will translate =Bint is slang for a woman 😂,another cracking episode great work guys you might need the mind bleach to wipe the memory of Simons balls 😂
@@tradeladder146 you learn something new every day ,I did not know that thank you for knowledge sir 👍👍
I always thought he said “bin” 😂
I’ve seen every episode and both films about 10 times but it’s more enjoyable watching it again with your reactions
"Bit over-dramatic, it's only a bollock" That line always has me howling 🤣
That really was his real bollock you know lol
The 3rd series is by far the best in my opinion My 3 favourite episodes are all in the 3rd series, they are yet to come, the final 3.
The audience was not warned and it wasn’t a prosthetic 🤣 Jesus Joe hahaha
You two are such a funny couple. I love that you love our humour also
I knew exactly what was coming, but your reactions, PRICELESS!
These are the best reviews. Make sure you do the movies also
Been waiting for this mate, keep up the good work brother 👏 💯
“Bint” = Old Woman
Ear-ring in the left ear was "straight" when i was at school in the 70s!
And we're off. Thanks, CityBoys, you've done a great job but this is the big one!
It appears that Season 3 has started well for you two!
Well done! Your initiation is complete. You r now.....Honorary Brits. Calm yourselves I know it's exciting.😁😁😁💕
I think Will wears the jacket to play on the fact he thinks he's too good for normal school having come from private school, along with the briefcase. A bit like when he thought he was too good to work at a garage.
Just always great to see you both. Especially the Queen.
Loved the Diana gag 😄
“Cotton candy from the rodeo” is the most American thing I’ve ever heard! 😅
the only thing that does my head in is when u are playing the video and chatting to each other and miss important links and jokes within the show, you done that a few times in past lol, but I do love your inbetweeners recations, awesome show! keep doing the reactions Boomers!
My favourite American reviewers . You’re clearly nice people and enjoy our British sense of humour . God help you !!!! 😂😂😂😂🇬🇧
Works on two level as Beckham played for both Paris and Milan
On Wills "jacket" it's called a 'blazer' and most schools in England get their students to wear one, it usually has the school crest on it. Most kids don't like wearing them though so never do, you only ever see the new kids wear one for their first year.
At my school, the sixth formers had double-breasted blazers..
he said "stupid old bint"
Yes,been waiting for this love the channel from the UK
If you like Imbetweeners, you'll love Peep Show or Fresh Meat. All got Cringe humour that you'll love!
Love Peep Show.
@@billylai6 Top tier comedy mate, it's a national treasure for me 😁
